کوئی تکدیاں ہی وٹ کھاندی رہی
کوئی جندڑی گھول گھماندی رہی
کوئی یوسف وچھڑیا، ہجر اندر
کِتے اکھ یعقوب دی جاندی رہی
کوئی عشق دے قول نبھاون نوں
ٹِھل کچے گھڑے تے جاندی رہی
ایہو زلف ہے کالی ازلاں توں
دل عاشقاں دا تڑفاندی رہی
جہیڑا رب سچے دا حجرا سی
اوتھے حرص مکان بناندی رہی
کیڈی نیک سی روح گناہواں تے
پل پل تے جو پچھتاندی رہی
سکھ پاسے پاسے رہے پھردے
جند دکھاں وچ کرُماندی رہی

This paper describes that if we want to know about poetry we must understand that out of context we can never arrive at our destination. The Qur‘ān should be read and understood in totality of its message and spirit. Its verses are local and universal. Some verses are in local environments but leave universal and external message. The verses of Sūrah Yāsīn and Sūrah Najm related to poetry clearly exhibit the truth that God rejected the claim of the infidels who regarded the Qur‘ān as the book of poetry and Prophet Muhammad as a poet. It is an apt reply to the infidels that Qur‘ān is a message of God with a serious mission and motto. The Holy prophet used to ask people to recite the Holy poetry of Abu ║ālib. ╓assān bin thābit used to recite ‘Nāt’ in the presence of the Prophet. They enhanced the divine mission of the prophets through their facile pen and noble spirit. Hence in the light of above brief dissertation we can profess that Islam does not oppose poetry if it is written on didactic and divine lines.

Selection Principles and Weaker Forms of Menger, Rothberger and Hurewicz Properties in Topology

In this research work, our focus is to study certain covering properties in topological spaces by using semiopen covers and in bitopological spaces by using pairwise open covers and their generalizations. This work deals with Menger type, Rothberger type and Hurewicz type covering properties. The notions of semiMenger (semiRothberger), almost semiMenger (almost semiRothberger), star semiMenger (star semiRothberger), almost star semiMenger (almost star semiRothberger) and strongly star semiMenger (strongly star semiRothberger) are defined and corresponding covering properties are investigated. Furthermore, the concepts of semiHurewicz, almost semiHurewicz and star semiHurewicz spaces are introduced and their properties are studied. Relations between the newly defined notions and classical selection principles are established. Similarities and differences among each other are discussed. We have also studied the prototypes of some selection principles using p-open covers in bitopological spaces.
