ادب انسانی زندگی کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ ہر انسان کی پہچان معاشرے سے ہوتی ہے اس لیے ادب اور معاشرہ باہم لازم و ملزوم ہیں۔اردو زبان کی تاریخ زیادہ قدیم نہیں ہے۔ تخلیق کارانسانی زندگی کے فہم کا دوسرا نام ہے اسی طرح نقاد تخلیق کاروں کی الجھی ہوئی گتھیاں سلجھاتا ہے۔وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ اردو شاعری کے علاوہ اردو نثر کے دائرے بھی وسیع تر ہوتے جا رہے ہیں۔پاکستان بھرکی جامعات میں ایم فل اردو اسکالرز کے لیے سب سے بڑا مسئلہ ان متنوع موضوعات کے حوالے سے مواد کا حصول ہے اور ان کا بہت زیادہ وقت اسی میں ضائع ہوجاتا ہے۔اسی بات کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے اس کتاب کو پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچایا گیا ہے۔ ایم فل اردو کے مباحث پر اس سے پہلے کوئی کتاب میری نظر سے نہیں گزری اسی وجہ سے غالب امکان ہے کہ تحقیق کے طلبا کے لیے یہ کتاب آب حیات سے کم نہیں ہوگی۔
اس کتاب کی تیاری میں مجھے اپنے اساتذہ ڈاکٹر مشتاق عادل، ڈاکٹر محمد یوسف اعوان، ڈاکٹر محمد عامر اقبال، ڈاکٹر یاسمین کوثر،ڈاکٹر عبدالستار نیازی،ڈاکٹر قیصر آفتاب، ڈاکٹر عظیم اللہ جندران، میڈم ماریہ بلال کے علاوہ ہم جماعت صائمہ اختر کی بھرپور معاونت اور تعاون شامل حال رہا۔میں سب سے زیادہ اپنی شریک سفر کا ممنون ہوں جنہوں نے میرے تحقیقی اور تخلیقی سفر میں ہمیشہ آسانیاں پیدا کیں۔کوئی بھی بات یا تحریر حتمی نہیں ہوتی، اس کی بہتری کے دروازے ہمیشہ کھلے رہتے ہیں۔ قارئین کی آرا اور ناقدین کے مثبت تبصروں سے اس کتاب کا آئندہ ایڈیشن بہتر انداز میں سامنے آ سکے گا۔

عصر حاضر میں بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کی ضرورت و اہمیت

The enmity and differences among nations have risen along with the increasing distances among people. Therefore, the need of hour is to develop the spirit of harmony and understanding among the followers of revealed religions. The Messengers and Prophets were designated by Allah to promote and promulgate, justice, tolerance, love and harmony among His creations. Islam is a religion based on characteristics of peace, love, respect, tolerance, dignity and denial of extremism, which are in the contemporary world ideal for interaction among nations. Islam teaches to respect all the religions and prophets to maintain and sustain the peace and harmony. The advanced technology of modern world and inventions demand intense responsibility to maintain and enhance the better human relations in Political, Social, Economic, Religious, and Cultural spheres of life. The present article envisions all those dimensions, which are essential for interfaith harmony.

Robust Smooth Model-Free Control Methodologies for Industrial Applications

Model free control methodologies are popular in industry due to their easy implemen- tation. Minor tuning of controller gains yields satisfactory performance from a dy- namical system. The main drawback of the techniques is their lack of robustness. On the other hand, robust control techniques e.g. sliding mode control require mathemati- cal model of the system and their aggressive control effort is the main barrier in their implementation for mechanical systems. The proposed robust smooth control tech- niques with robust state-disturbance observer in the closed loop are the solution to the problem. The proposed state-disturbance observer is model free and relies on input and output of the system only; consequently it estimates states as well as drift term of the system. The estimated drift term is used to cancel out internal and external distur- bances of the system and this cancellation transforms the system into an nth order in- tegrator system. The observed states are used to design any modern or classical state- space control technique e.g. pole placement, Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) or Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) methods etc. The finite time stability analysis of ro- bust state-disturbance observer is given in noisy and noise free environments. In this thesis, two novel control methodologies i.e. robust smooth real twisting second order sliding mode and robust feedback linearization are also proposed. The finite time sta- bility analysis of the robust smooth real twisting control is proven using Lyapunov method along with homogeneity concepts. The stability analyses of overall closed loop systems are given using separation principle. Simulations as well as experimental results with academic bench mark DC motor validate the ideas. The proposed tech- niques are also compared with robust LMI based polytopic controller on an industrial stabilized platform to verify their usage for industry.
