گزشتہ مہینہ سید صدیق حسن صاحب مرحوم کا حادثہ وفات ایسے وقت پیش آیا جب معارف چھپ چکا تھا، اس لیے تعزیت کا فرض ادا نہ ہوسکا، یہ اتفاق ہے کہ ان کی وفات سے صرف تین چار دن پیشتر ندوہ کی مجلس انتظامیہ کے جلسہ میں ان سے ملاقات ہوئی تھی، پھر دوسرے دن وہ ملنے کے لئے آئے، اس وقت یہ گمان بھی نہیں ہوسکتا تھا کہ یہ آخری ملاقات ہے، اعظم گڑھ واپس آنے کے دوسرے دن معلوم ہوا کہ مرحوم نے عالم غربت میں جنت کی راہ لی، اس سے اور بھی دل متاثر ہوا، مرحوم اپنے اوصاف و خصوصیات میں مومن کامل، اخلاص وﷲیت، حسن خلق، سادگی و تواضع، خدمت خلق، اہل حاجت کی امداد و دستگیری کا نمونہ اور غریبوں اور بے نواؤں کا ملجا و ماویٰ تھے، ان کی فیض رسانی عام تھی، کسی طبقہ اور فرقہ کی تخصیص نہ تھی، ہر حاجت مند کے لئے ان کا دروازہ کھلا ہوا تھا، عقیدۃً اور عملاً پکے مسلمان تھے، ان کے یہاں ہر ہفتہ قرآن مجید کا درس ہوتا تھا، جس میں بہت سے مسلمان حکام شریک ہوتے تھے، ان میں انھوں نے ایک مذہبی ذوق پیدا کردیا تھا، دینی و اسلامی اداروں سے ان کو بڑی دلچسپی تھی، ندوے کے رکن رکین اور بڑے معاون و مددگار تھے، دارالمصنفین سے بھی ان کو مخلصانہ تعلق تھا، اس کی مجلس انتظامیہ کے رکن بھی تھے، ان کا مذہبی اور اسلامی تاریخ کا مطالعہ بھی وسیع تھا، انھوں نے جمع و تدوین قرآن پر ایک طویل مقالہ لکھا تھا، جو معارف کے اس نمبر میں چھپ رہا ہے، اس سے ان کے علمی و دینی ذوق اور اس میں دقت نظر کا اندازہ ہوگا، شعر و ادب کا بھی ستھرا ذوق رکھتے تھے، رسمی غزل سرائی کے علاوہ...
As population grows faster, the rise of garbage collection follows. Massive information dissemination of waste management has been done by local representatives to educate people but despite the effort exerted still mismanagement of waste exist that caused serious environmental consequences to nature and human beings. This condition ignites the researchers to develop a technology-based means to help disseminate proper disposal of garbage through the use of mobile phones. Trash Rush educational mobile game application utilized Lua Scripting Language for game features, system behavior and synchronizes the phone sensor to the system. The Lua tool is decoded to JSON codes and sent to PHP MySQL in the webserver for storage. For tilting motion and orientation of the phone, the researchers employ the accelerometer sensor as the main navigation controller. For sound and background effects, the Reactable Application is utilized. The Box2D game engine is used to analyze and interpret the images and graphic effects while the Box2D API is utilized for object movement and animation. The Motion Parallax effect is also used to give more realistic effects in movements of the objects and the graphical background of the game. All these components are extracted through the APK file of Corona SDK to build and publish the app. Upon reaching to the deployment stage of iterative model, it was found out that the system became viral to grade levels in the campus because of its story and time attack mechanism.
The current study aims to investigate the role of emotional problems in the context of emotion related outcomes which includes emotional intelligence, empathy, regulation, and expressivity. Further, in order to examine the relationship between emotional problems and emotional outcomes, this study also aims to figure out the moderating role of personality traits. For this purpose, a sample of (N = 1000) adolescents was enlisted from different areas of the Punjab province (Pakistan) by using purposive sampling technique. For data collection, Urdu version of the scales having determined psychometric properties such as School Children Problem Scale, Big Five Personality Inventory, Emotional Intelligence Scale, Emotional Empathy Scale, Emotional Expressivity Scale, and Emotional Regulation Scale were used. Data was analyzed by using SPSS software version-21. Descriptive statistics, simple linear regression and hierarchical multiple regression were used for hypotheses testing. The findings of current study revealed that emotional problems significantly negatively predicted emotional intelligence (B = -.39, p < .01), emotional empathy (B = -.50, p < .01), emotional regulation (B = -.43, p < .01), and emotional expressivity (B = -.36, p < .01). Moderated multiple regression analysis revealed that personality traits did not play moderating role between the emotional problems and emotional intelligence (p > .05). Neuroticism (B = - .09, p < .01), openness to experience (B = -.18, p < .001) and conscientiousness (B = - .11, p < .01) did not reveal any association among the variables. However, they have played moderating role to determine the association between emotional problems and emotional regulation. In addition, Neuroticism (B = -.12, p < .01) played moderating role between the emotional problems and emotional empathy which has determined the link between two variables. Moreover, no moderating role of personality trait was found between emotional problems and emotional expressivity (p > .05). On the basis of gender and institution, findings on demographic differences did not indicate any difference in (t = 1.32, p > .05), socioeconomic status (t = 1.13, p > .05), family system (t = 1.27, p > .05)(t = 1.08, p > .05), and emotional problems. However, results of residential status (t = 2.34, p < .05) discovered that adolescents living in urban areas exhibited more emotional problems than adolescents belonging to the rural areas.
