72. Al-Jinn/The Jinn

I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah

The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.

72:01
a. Say O The Prophet:
b. It has been revealed onto me that a number of Jinn listened to the recital of this Qur’an.
c. Then they discussed it among themselves and said:
d. ‘We have indeed listened to a Magnificent Recital/Qur’an!’

72:02
a. ‘It guides to what is the right approach to living a life that leads to Allah.
b. So we believe in it.
c. And we will never ascribe anyone to our Rabb - The Lord.’

72:03
a. ‘And Exalted be the Majesty of our Rabb - The Lord,
b. HE has neither ever taken a wife nor ever a son’ – HE has no family.

72:04
a. ‘But the naïve among us have been uttering outrageous lies against Allah,’ which is an enormous falsehood.

72:05
a. ‘And we, in fact, always thought that neither the human nor the jinn would ever utter such
falsehood against Allah.’

72:06
a. ‘But some males from among the human do seek help from males among the jinn, and
b. that only increases them – humankind - in transgression’ and misguidance.

72:07
a. ‘So they thought even as you thought that Allah would never resurrect anyone.’

72:08
a. ‘And we sought to reach out for the higher realms to overhear some news,
b. but found it full of fierce guards and scorching flames/meteors.’

72:09
a. ‘And we sought to sit in places of proximity to the higher realms to listen to the Angels’...

Tafarrud (Strangeness) of a Hadith means reporting by only a single narrator at some stage of the Isnad. This is not necessary that any Tafarrud (Strangeness) of a Hadith should be weak (Da’if), because the narrator of such  Hadith may make mistake in reporting and may be right. The authenticity of such Hadith rather depends on other factors such as: The reliability of the narrator of Strange Hadith. The earlier stage of the Isnad where Tafarrud (Strangeness) is founded. Close relation of the narrator with the teacher (sheikh). Acceptance of Strange Hadith by renowned authorities in Hadeeth. Another narrator authenticating the first narrator’s account of the strange hadith. Therefore Tafarrud  (Strangeness) of a Hadith should be studied in the light of these factors that determines acceptability. This paper studies Tafarrud (Strangeness) of a Hadith in the light of these factors.

Production of Fungal Treated Wheat Straw Through Solid State Fermentation and its Biological Evaluation in Nili Ravi Buffalo Calves

The poor availability of high quality feedstuff and consistent use of abundant low quality dry roughages as an animal feed are the major constraints in the development of livestock sector in Pakistan. For an efficient exploitation of available crop residues like wheat straw, biotechnological methods along with solid state fermentation technology using Arachniotus sp. were employed to upgrade its nutritive value in laboratory and on large scale at farm. Thus at both levels, addition of salts (MgSO4.7H2O, CaCl2, KH2PO4 andurea) and industrial residues (molasses, rice polishing and corn steep liquor) highly increased the crude protein contents and decrease the neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber and acid detergent lignin in the fermented wheat straw. It was demonstrated that Arachniotus sp. are a potential alternative fungi that on addition of economical by-products provide more practical and environmental-friendly approach for enhancing the nutritive value of wheat straw on large scale at farm level. Moreover, the biological trial of this treated wheat straw in Nili Ravi male buffalo calves considerably increased the dry matter intake, daily weight gain, improved feed conversion ratio, an enhanced feed economics and nutritive digestibility. Hence, the current observations highly endorse the use of these economical by-products for cheap biomass production from low quality dry roughages and it was recommended to add this improved feed in livestock ration for an enhanced growth performance.
