المبحث الثامن: أسلوب بروين شاکر في شعرها

 تعتبر الشاعرۃ بروین من الشاعرات العشرۃ الأولی في الشعر الأردو، والشاعرات الأخریات کلما تقدمن نحو الشعر فکان الشعر الکلاسیکي ھو إختیارھن الأول والحقیقی۔ ولکن بروین شاکر لم تتقید بقیود ولم تھتم بقیم الشعر إنما کان ھدفھا الأول ھو إیصال فکرتھا للقاريء وإحساسھا للحبیب، وبالفعل تظھر المرأۃ في شعرها کمرأۃ حقيقة ۔ وفي بدایۃ قصائدھا کانت أشعارھا کلھا عن فتاۃ بريئۃ لھا أحاسیسھا وعواطفھا وحبھا ولون عشقھا وتغیر حالتھا بعد الحب، وبعد الفراق۔

 وکانت الشاعرۃ لھا براعۃ في اختیار الکلمات وطریقۃ متطورۃ في نسق التراکیب تلفت أنظار الجمھور من القراء والأدباء وأن قصائدھا متنوعۃ، وکأنھا کانت تصف جمیع ما في قلبھا بوصف دقیق رائع وشامل، فكانت تعطي للأفکار القدیمۃ نوعا من الحُسن والجمال والفن الجدید، وکان تعبیرھا صادقاً لا مبالغۃ فیہ ولا قصور في أدائه۔

 وکلما تناولت موضوعاً۔۔۔۔ کان لہ أھمیۃ في المجتمع أولہ أھمیۃ لدی الحبیب، ولغۃ شعرھا متطورۃ وأسلوبھا بلیغ وأفکارھا قریبۃ من الخیال، فإنھا کانت لا تتراجع إذا قررت فعل شيء، وکانت صاحبۃ العقل والفھم السلیم ومنحت القراء بعض النصائح والخبرات، ولم تكن تکثر الفضول من الألفاظ إنما کانت تقصر وتختصر الکلام الطویل في عدۃ أبیات، فإنھا تصف حالۃ الحبیبين عند اللقاء والفراق بوصف دقیق رائع یلمس مشاعر القُراء۔

 وأیضاً تناولت آلام وأوجاع المجتمع، ولم تستطع أن تغض النظر عن المجتمع، فإنھا کانت حساسۃ، فھي دوماً کانت تبحث في معظم أشعارھا عن السعادۃ. والحزن سائد في معظم قصائدھا ومع ھذا تبحث عن الھدوء والراحۃ والأفراح، فأحیاناً کانت تجد الراحۃ في الموت، ولکن أحیاناً أخری تجد السعادۃ في أذرع الحبیب، وتعبیرھا ھاديء ناعم قریب من الفطرۃ مليء بألوان الحب والبراعۃ الصادقۃ، وکانت تنظر إلى الحیاۃ علی حقیقتھا بأعین داعیۃ، في خوشبو تتكلم عن الأحلام والخیال أکثر من الواقع ولکن في باقي مجموعاتھا تکلمت عن الحقیقۃ والواقع...

From Jihad to Salam in Pursuit of Political Change: A Perspective based on Qur’ānic Sources

The political reality of many countries in the Muslim World is untenable and reforms and change is absolutely necessary. This article argues that use of force and violence for political change is making things worse as one can witness in Syria and Iraq. The article advances a Qur’ānic perspective on the desirability of peace as a goal and peaceful means as instruments of change. The article acknowledges that the Qur’ānic sanction for use of force to defend religious freedom prcludes the advocacy of pacifism but nevertheless the article does make a strong case for privileging peace over use of force.

Exploring Headteachers Perceptions and Strategies of Dealing With Staff Conflicts at the Secondary Schools in a Rural Context of Gojal, Gilgit-Baltistan

Conflict is an integral part of school life where a number of people come together for common goals but with different personal beliefs, values, needs, capabilities, emotional intelligence and interests. When these differences are expressed or intervened by individuals, conflicts arise. Being an interesting area of investigation and my own personal engagement as a community leader with conflicts, I ventured to study conflicts in schools and how they are viewed by the immediate stakeholders i.e. head teachers and teachers. The purpose of the study was to explore the head teachers' perceptions and strategies in dealing with conflict at secondary schools in a rural context. To conduct this study, qualitative research paradigm best suited the purpose, and within that paradigm case-study was a more suitable method to investigate the area. The study was conducted in a rural setting, namely Gojal, a scenic place in the recently established province of Gilgit-Baltistan. The research participants, two head teachers and five teachers, were invited to the study from the public and private secondary schools. Data were gathered through semi-structure interviews, observations and document analysis. Data were then analyzed for themes, and sub themes, which then led to findings of the study. The findings revealed that private and public school head teachers perceive conflicts differently. The private school head teacher perceives conflicts as beneficial for personal and school improvement while the public head teacher thought that conflicts are good in a very rare case and it has negative consequences for staff relations, so it should be avoided. Both the head teachers used different strategies to deal with conflicts according to the nature and situations of the conflicts. The study makes a humble contribution to the body of knowledge on conflict management and resolution strategies of school heads in the context of rural areas of Pakistan.
