دوسرا حادثہ مولانا آزاد سبحانی کی وفات کا ہے، نئی پود کو کیا معلوم کہ ایک زمانہ میں مولانا کتنی بڑی شخصیت رکھتے تھے، اگر ان کے دل و دماغ میں توازن اور خیالات و عمل میں استقلال ہوتا تو ہندوستان کے چوٹی کے علماء اور لیڈروں میں ان کا شمار ہوتا، وہ بڑے ذہین اور وسیع النظر عالم معقولات کے ماہر اور سحربیان خطیب تھے، ان کی تقریر خطابت اور منطق کا مرقع ہوتی تھی، ایک زمانہ میں مدرسہ الٰہیات کانپور کے روح رواں اور مسجد کانپور کے واقعہ کے ہیرو تھے، ہندوستان کی جنگ آزادی میں بھی ان کا حصہ ہے تحریک ترک موالات میں اور اس کے بعد بھی کچھ دنوں تک گاندھی جی کے رفیق کار اور کانگریس کے سرگرم رکن رہے، مگر ان میں استقلال نہ تھا، کسی مسلک پر زیادہ دنوں تک قائم نہ رہتے تھے اور عجیب عجیب تحریکیں اختراع کرتے تھے، ادھر کئی سال سے اسلامی کمیونزم اور حکومت ربانی کے مبلغ بن گئے تھے اور اس پر ایک کتاب بھی لکھی تھی، مگر کسی تحریک کو عرصہ تک نہ چلا سکے اور سب کا خاتمہ ناکامی پر ہوا، ادھر عرصہ سے سب جماعتوں سے الگ ہوگئے تھے اور ان کی زندگی کا آخری دور گمنانی میں بسر ہوا، مگر اس حال میں بھی جب کہ بڑی شکستہ حالت میں حکومت ربانی کی تبلیغ کرتے پھرتے تھے جب کسی مسئلہ پر گفتگو کرتے تھے تو معلوم ہوتا تھا کہ کوئی بڑا مفکر اور فلسفی بول رہا ہے، ان کی خاموش موت دنیاوی شہرت کی بے ثباتی کا سبق آموز واقعہ ہے ایک زمانہ میں جس کی خطابت کی سارے ہندوستان میں دھوم تھی، اس کی موت کو اخبارات نے ایک معمولی واقعہ سے زیادہ اہمیت نہ دی اور بہتوں کو اس کی خبر بھی نہ ہونے...

Comparison of Economic Activities: Time Deposits, Investments, Income and Needs

This article aims to discuss the comparison of economic activities including time deposits, investment, income and needs. The advantage of a bank by raising reserves through stores is that the cash put away can take longer, considering that stores have a moderately long period of time and the recurrence of withdrawals is additionally uncommon. Hence the bank can unreservedly utilize the credit of these stores. Income in common is regularly related to the sum of cash an individual gets as a result of something done, done, or contributed. The pay is at that point utilized or went through to meet different needs in life for a certain period of time. It is vital to have Financial Management by giving need scale by prioritizing all things that are vital since the more noteworthy a person's pay more often than not the more he needs. The survey results within the AES business group show a significant comparison of the amount of income derived from investment and sales that generate income, while time deposits are rarely performed as a principal economic activity in generating income.

Social Media Effect on English Language Learning Proficiency at University Level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan

Social media has become pervasive, impacting the social and cultural fabric of our society. It has revolutionized the way we communicate, interact and socialize. Therefore, the present study was conducted to find out the effect of social media sources on enhancement of English language learning proficiency at university level. Major objectives of the study were: to find out access of learners regarding use of social media sources for English language learning at university level across gender groups and discipline groups. To compare the views of learners regarding ranking of social media sources for English language skills and competency development at university level across gender groups and discipline groups. To determine the utilization of time regarding the use of social media sources for English language learning proficiency development across gender and discipline groups. To find out the importance regarding different social media sources on EFL learners’ language proficiency at university level across gender groups and discipline groups. To find out the effect of social media sources on enhancement of EFL learning proficiency between gender groups and discipline groups. The study was guided by null hypothesis in order to make appropriate recommendations based on findings of the study. The study was descriptive in nature that is why self-structured questionnaire was used for collection of data from the given sample of population. Population of the study was all the master level students enrolled in session 2015-16 of social sciences and pure sciences in public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and sample size of the present study was eight hundred students of four public sector universities of southern districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Data was collected from the given sample of population and then arranged, coded, analyzed, and tabulated through SPSS version 24. Statistical tools which were used for analysis of collected data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent sample t-test, and one way ANOVA post hoc. After the successful completion of analysis findings of the present study clearly revealed that majority of university level mature learners have access to the use various social media sources for English language learning. Similarly, so for as the raking of various social media sources are concerned the findings of the study showed that Facebook is most commonly used social media source among the university level learners of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The findings of the present study also clearly revealed that university level learners utilize most of their leisure time in use of various social media sources and it has positive effect in English language learning proficiency development at university level. Therefore, in light of the findings of this study it is recommended that this research study may be beneficial to English teachers, curriculum developers/reviewers, textbook writers/reviewers, working and perspective teachers to promote standard based education.
