میرے گائوں جاتا تھا جو
اُس رستے کے دونوں جانب
میٹھے آموں کے کچھ بوٹے
اونچے سایہ دار شجر بھی
کچھ شیشم کے ، کچھ پیپل کے
کچھ لیموں کے چھوٹے چھوٹے

بھینی بھینی خوشبو والے
کچھ پھولوں والے بوٹے بھی
کچھ کانٹوں والے بوٹے بھی

جیسے کیکر ، بیری ، آڑو
کچھ چمکیلے پتّوں والے
پتلی لمبی شاخوں والے
پر پھیلائے رستے اوپر
بادل چھائے رستے اوپر
گرمی میں سب کے سب گھر سے
باہر آئے رستے اوپر
ساجن ، متّر ، بیلی سارے
روز بلائے رستے اوپر

میں جب کالج آتا جاتا
چڑیوں کی چوں چوں سنتا تھا
کوئل کی کُو کُو سنتا تھا
بلبل بھی گانا گاتی تھی

ہجر کے ماروں کی خاطر جب
وصل کے گیت ہوا بنتی تھی
رنگ بہار کے اُس مٹی سے
ہر دل کی دھڑکن چنتی تھی
اک مدّت سے اک عرصے سے
چھوٹ گیا وہ رستہ مجھ سے
جو میرے گائوں جاتا تھا

PENGARUH KEDISIPLINAN DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 3 MAUMERE

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya disiplin pada peserta didik SMK Negeri 3 Maumere. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kedisiplinan dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Prestasi Peserta Didik Kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Maumere baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMK Negeri 3, berjumlah 170 orang. Karena populasinya terbatas, maka penelitian ini dilakukan secara random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui quisioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu regresi linier berganda. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa variabel Kedisiplinan nilai thitung sebesar 2.937dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.004. Nilai signifikansi ini lebih kecil dari tingkat alpha yang digunakan 5% (0, 05), maka keputusannya adalah menolak hipotesis nol (Ho) dan menerima hipotesis alternatif (Ha), bahwa secara parsial variabel Kedisiplinan Belajar(X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Prestasi Belajar. Sedangkan variabel Motivasi Belajar menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 2.888 dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.005. Nilai signifikansi ini lebih kecil dari tingkat alpha yang digunakan 5% (0, 05), maka keputusannya adalah menolak hipotesis nol (Ho) dan menerima hipotesis alternatif (Ha), bahwa secara parsial variabel Motivasi Belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Prestasi Belajar. Selain itu, hasil koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0.122 yang berarti bahwa kedua variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini (Kedisiplinan Belajar, dan Motivasi Belajar) mampu menjelaskan   variasi naik turunnya Prestasi Belajar  SMK Negeri 3 Maumere sebesar 12.2%. Peserta didik SMK Negeri 3 Maumere disarankan untuk terus meningkatkan dan memperbaiki beberapa sub indicator disiplin dan Prestasi Belajar yang mempunyai nilai  indeks lebih rendah dari nilai indeks Variabel.

Impact of Private Sector Secondary Schools on Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Pakistan

Education is an influential instrument for financial and political change in the world. So it is important to provide access and enhance quality of education at various phases of learning. Secondary level of Education is the most crucial stage of learning. It is the turning point for the students. The substantial number of taught labor in Pakistan is accessible at this stage. Procurement of access and perfection of quality of this stage is key for improvement in higher stage of learning, which is the soul result of quality of teachers and the support given to them. The main purpose of the study was to examine the impact of private secondary schools on quality and access of education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan). The major objectives of the study were (1) To identify the role of private education sector. (2) To find out impact of private sector education in terms of Access and Quality. (3) To suggest measures for the improvement of private education sector. All private Secondary Schools, the Principals of these schools, the teachers and students of these institutions were included as Population of the study. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is for the most part partitioned in three distinctive strata which are North, Central, and South. Ten districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were selected for the dissertation. The names of the districts were Abbotabad, Peshawar, kohat, Karak, Dera Ismail khan, Lakki Marwat, Mardan, Swat,Charsaddah and Mansehra. The sample was selected randomly. A sample of 120 private secondary schools and the principals of these schools, 600 teachers (five teachers from each sample school) and 1200 students (ten students from each sample school) was randomly selected. The proportion of male and female students and teachers was fifty each. Three questionnaires (for principals, teachers and students) were developed and disseminated for data collection. Collected data were tabularized, examined and interpreted. Then statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, standard error of mean and estimated population mean were applied. Based on the conclusions some suggestions were given to provide students with the support systems to help them succeed at these institutions. Continuous planning, support and development are needed to develop the worth of education. Use of audio-visual aids is recommended to make the process of learning effective. Proper physical facilities may be offered by all private educational institutions for access and quality of education.
