ارشاد ڈیروی کا تخلیقی سفر

ارشاد ڈیروی کے فن و شخصیت کا اگر تحقیقی جائزہ لیا جائے ، تو اسی کی دہائی میں ’’ نین سوالی‘‘ لے کر1995ء میں ادبی منظر نامے پر نمودار ہوتا ہے، جس میں ان کے ڈوہڑے ، قطعے ، گیت اور ابتدائی  دور کی غزلیں شامل ہیں، مگر یہ ابتدائی چیزیں اس بات کی غماز ہیں کہ:

’’دل طائر میں اڑنے کا ابھی امکان باقی ہے‘‘

’’نین سوالی ‘‘ کا چاہئے ڈوہڑا ہو یا گیت ، قطعہ ہو یا غزل امکانات سے بھرپور ہے، ارشاد ڈیروی ایک بااعتماد شاعر ہیں انھیں اپنے کام اور کلام پر مکمل یقین ہے، کلامِ شاعر یزبان شاعر مشاعرے اورسٹیج  پہ سننے کا انھیں ایک اپنا لطف ہے۔

ارشاد ڈیروی کے مجموعہ ہائے کلام کے ناموں پر اگر غور کیا جائے تو ان کے تلازے اور علامتیں انھوں نے شعوری اور غیر شعوری طور پر استعمال کیے ہیںان کے پیچھے ایک ایک داستان مل سکتی ہے، شاعر کا الفاظ کا استعمال اگرچہ بظاہر غیر محسوس انداز ہی ہوتا ہے ، مگر

تیرگی میں دیکھنے کو چشمِ بینا چاہیے

ہر لفظ کی تہہ میں ایک بات ہوتی ہے، اور درحقیقت بات وہی ہوتی ہے ارشاد ڈیروی کی خصوصیت اور انفرادیت یہ ہے ، کہ وہ صرف شاعرہی نہیں یعنی خوابوں اور خیالوں کی دنیا میں رہنے والا ہی نہیں بلکہ ایک محنت کش بھی ہے، اور مزدور بھی جن کے بارے میں ملتا ہے، الکاسب  حبیب اللہ یعنی محنتی اللہ کا دوست ہے۔ان کے’’نین سوالی ‘‘  لب ورخسار کا نہیں پوچھتے ، بلکہ دل دہلادینے والے حسرت زدہ سوالی نین ہیں، یہ وہی سوال ہیں جن کے بارے میں فیض احمد فیض نے کہا تھا!

PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN MENYIMAK CERPEN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA REKAMAN PEMBACAAN CERPEN PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA2 SMA NEGERI 1 BONTOTIRO KABUPATEN BULUKUMBA

Improving the Quality of Learning to Listen to Short Stories by Using Recorded Media for Reading Short Stories for Class XI IPA2 Students of SMA Negeri 1 Bontotiro, Bulukumba Regency.” This study aims to describe the improvement in the quality of learning to listen to short stories using short story reading recording media for students of class XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Bontotiro, Bulukumba Regency.             The results of the study prove that improving the quality of learning to listen to short stories using short story reading recording media in class XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Bontotiro Bulukumba Regency at the planning stage found an increase in the ability of teachers in the field of study to plan better learning implementation in cycle II. In the implementation stage, there was an increase in student activity during the learning process, such as the sincerity, discipline, and self-confidence of students following the learning process. The evaluation stage found an increase in the results of the short story listening test, showing that in the first cycle 56.09% of students experienced mastery learning, and in the second cycle it reached 97.56% who experienced learning mastery. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the recording media for reading short stories could improve the quality of learning to listen to short stories in class XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Bontotiro, Bulukumba Regency

Primary Teachers Understanding of Biodiversity

Keeping in view the worldwide concern about environmental issues, and the emphasis given to environmental concepts in the National Curriculum 2002 for Primary Science, this study attempted to investigate the existing understanding of 75 primary schoolteachers in the area of biodiversity. These teachers were selected from 17 primary schools of three different educational systems (Government, Private, AKES). Data for the study was collected through a questionnaire survey. A similar kind of study has already been done in the United Kingdom, and so the same questionnaire was used in this study after making a few changes and modifications in it. The findings of the study suggest that primary teachers in this sample demonstrated a considerable understanding of the basic concepts of biodiversity, and overall, 68% of their responses were correct. However, certain areas within the broader concept of biodiversity, were difficult for the teachers, such as, interbreeding between different species and the causes of variation in individuals of species. In these areas primary teachers showed very little understanding and the percentage of their correct responses was significantly low. The comparison of the result with the findings of UK study reveals that overall, the teachers of Pakistan showed a better understanding of the concept. In fact in some areas, the percentage of their correct responses was much higher than those of UK teachers. The teachers of UK also showed a marginally better understanding than the Pakistani teachers in a certain areas of the concept. In the current study, no relationship between teachers' professional qualification and their understanding could be seen. However, the teachers' background in biology and training from the AKU-IED influenced their understanding to some extent. There was very little impact of the teachers' academic qualification on their understanding of the concept. The study has identified areas, where primary teachers lack understanding, face problems and need professional support. Based on these findings, professional development programmes could be designed for teachers so as to enhance their subject matter understanding of environmental concepts like biodiversity'.
