پروفیسر انامری شمل کی وفات علمی دنیا کا بڑا سانحہ ہے، ۲۷؍ جنوری کو اپنے گھر میں گرجانے کی وجہ سے ان کی وفات ہوگئی، وہ اس عہد کے ممتاز مستشرق تھیں، یورپ کی متعدد زبانوں کے علاوہ اردو، فارسی، عربی اور ترکی کی بھی ماہر تھیں، عربی میں ایک رسالہ بھی نکالا تھا اور قریباً ۵۰ کتابیں لکھیں۔
انہوں نے اپنی تمام عمر تحقیق اور علمی کاموں کے لیے وقف کردی تھی، مشرقی اور اسلامی علوم پر ان کی اچھی نظر تھی، ہندوستان کئی بار تشریف لائیں اور یہاں کے اصحاب علم و ذوق کو ان سے استفادے کا موقع ملا، اورینٹل اسٹڈیز میں انہوں نے جہاں مختلف مشرقی زبانوں پر کام کیا تھا وہاں اردو، غالب اور اقبال بھی ان کے مرکز توجہ رہے، ان کی وفات سے مشرقی زبانوں اور اردو کا بڑا نقصان ہوا، اس خلاَ کا پُر ہونا مشکل ہے۔

Implementation of Work Discipline and Application of Employee Sanctions In PD. BPR Rokan Hulu

This study was conducted at BPR PD Rokan Hulu, utilizing a qualitative descriptive analysis based on interviews. The primary objective was to investigate the disciplinary practices and the application of punishment among employees within the institution. The findings reveal that to enhance disciplinary diversity, BPR PD Rokan Hulu has established robust regulations and enforced sanctions effectively. This initiative demonstrates BPR PD Rokan Hulu's commitment to promoting diversity through structured training programs and the implementation of punitive measures. Despite these efforts, the study identified that there are still instances of indiscipline among some employees. Specific violations observed include habitual tardiness, absenteeism without prior approval from supervisors, and unexplained departures during official work hours. These actions not only contravene the company's established regulations but also undermine the overall disciplinary framework intended to foster a productive and efficient work environment. The research highlights the significance of continuous monitoring and reinforcement of disciplinary measures to ensure adherence to organizational norms and standards. Furthermore, it suggests that while the implementation of rules and sanctions is vital, BPR PD Rokan Hulu could benefit from exploring additional strategies to address the root causes of indiscipline. This could include more personalized training sessions, enhanced communication channels between employees and management, and the development of a more inclusive company culture that encourages respect for regulations. In conclusion, while BPR PD Rokan Hulu has made commendable strides in enforcing discipline and applying necessary sanctions, there is room for improvement. Taxonomy and Dental Morphological Studies of Fossil Artiodactyls from Type Locality of Dhok Pathan, Punjab, Pakistan

A taxonomic investigation of Late Miocene artiodactyl fauna of Dhok Pathan, the Middle Siwaliks, Pakistan, was undertaken. Comparative morphometric features of the late Miocene artiodactyls from the locality are studied in this thesis. The late Miocene artiodactyls are presented on the basis of description of abundant material from the Dhok Pathan type locality of the Dhok Pathan Formation, the Middle Siwaliks and the remains increasingly indicate taxonomic diversity. Quantitatively, the taxa of bovids are the most predominant. But cervids, tragulids, giraffids and suids are approximately as common as each other at Dhok Pathan. More than 130 artiodactyl fossil specimens were studied in this thesis from the Dhok Pathan type locality. All the described specimens include Skulls, horn cores, isolated teeth and fragments of maxillae or mandibles. These fossils document twenty three artiodactyl species belonging to fifteen genera and five families. This assemblage includes two new taxa: Miotragocerus large sp. and ?Hydaspitherium sp. Boselaphines, antilopines, reduncines, cervids, tragulids, giraffids and suids are abundant in the locality whereas tragelaphines and alcelaphines are absent. Biogeographically, the late Miocene artiodactyls indicate strong relationships with Eurasian and African late Miocene sites. In this study, paleoenvironmental interpretations of the type locality provide important evidence regarding late Miocene paleoenvironments. Most of these taxa indicate a predominance of woodland to savannah habitat during the deposition of the Dhok Pathan Formation.
