Prophet Sulaymén: An Analytical Study of Biblical Literature and the Qur’an

ABSTRACT: The Bible and the Qur’an are both replete with historical narratives related to previous nations, groups, individuals, and prophets. Both the sources have described, among others, Prophet Sulayman from various angles. These descriptions of Prophet Sulayman in the two great Scriptures are not similar everywhere. There are dissimilarities too. What are the similarities and dissimilarities between Biblical descriptions of Prophet Solomon and Qur’anic descriptions of Prophet Sulayman? This question has been addressed in the present paper with critical overtones.

Relationship Between Working Capital Management and Economic Value Added: A Pakistani Manufacturing Sector Analysis

Working Capital Management is one of the important areas of research in corporate finance domain. This study examines the relationship between Working Capital Management and Economic Value added, which is rarely researched in context of Pakistan. The selected study period is 2008 to 2013 for PSX listed Pakistani manufacturing sector firms.Since every corporate organization is extremely concerned abouthowtomaintainandimproveEconomic Profit,hencetheyhavetokeep keeneyeonthefactorsimpactingthe Economic Value Added. The present work is all about analyzing how Working Capital Management impacts the Economic Value Added of manufacturing sector companies in Pakistan. The results of this research will be helpful for corporate managers and other decision makers for implementing better control on working capital for the purpose of enhancing the economic profit which ultimately have a positive impact on the value of the firm.
