مولانا ظفر علی خاں
افسوس ہے مولانا ظفر علی خاں بھی چل بسے۔مرحوم علی گڑھ یونیورسٹی کے قدیم طلبا میں اور اس ادارہ کی علمی،ادبی اور تہذیبی روایات کے بڑے حامل تھے۔ اردو صحافت میں انھوں نے بڑانام پیداکیا۔وہ بیک وقت بلند پایہ صحافی، صاحبِ طرز ادیب،نہایت قادر الکلام شاعر،نامور ادیب اورساتھ ہی صف اوّل کے لیڈر اورمجاہد تھے۔ایک زمانہ تھا کہ’ زمیندار‘ اخبار اورمرحوم کے اشعار کاگھر گھر چرچاتھا۔اُن کے فیض تعلیم وتربیت سے سینکڑوں ادیب، جرنلسٹ اور شاعر ہوگئے۔ شاعری میں انھوں نے شروع شروع میں اپنے استاد مولانا شبلی کاتتبع کیا لیکن اس مخصوص طرز کوانھوں نے اس درجہ ترقی دی کہ وہ اردو شاعری کی ایک مستقل صنف بن گیا۔الفاظ اُن کی مشت ِفکر میں موم تھے، جس طرح چاہا اُن سے کام لے لیا۔سخت سے سخت قوافی پرغیر معمولی قدرت تھی۔ذہن بے حد رسا اور طبیعت بلا کی موزوں تھی۔اگر وہ چاہتے توگھنٹوں شعروں میں گفتگو کرسکتے تھے۔بے شمار اخباری مضامین ومقالات اورنظموں اورغزلوں کے علاوہ چند ادبی کتابیں جن میں سے بعض اوریجنل ہیں اور بعض تراجم اور’الفاروق‘ کی جلداوّل کا انگریزی ترجمہ اُن کی ادبی یادگاریں ہیں۔تہذیب وشرافت اوراخلاق واطوار کے لحاظ سے ایک راسخ العقیدہ مسلمان تھے۔اُن کی زندگی بڑے بڑے طوفانوں سے گزری تھی جن میں وہ چٹان کی طرح اپنے مقام پرکھڑے رہے۔اﷲ تعالیٰ اُن کومغفرت وبخشش کی نعمتوں سے نوازے۔ [دسمبر۱۹۵۶ء]
Ahmad sh┤qi is acknowledged as king of the modern Arabic poetry for his a lot of contribution towards it. He compiled the poetry in new poetical style and introduced several varieties in which he is awarded the title of “King of the Poetry”. Beside these attempts he contributed to the contemporary prosaic arts like; novels, dramas, anecdotes, dialogues, biography, social and political issues, which is somehow appreciated by a group of writers and condemned by another for some reasons. His prose did not gain the status as compared to his status in poetry. Many aspects of his prose were analytically discussed by the scholars but the thematic trend in his prose – according to my knowledge- is not taken in research. This article focused on the issue in research with the descriptive manner and the above mentioned themes are analyzed. Wherever, there is failure occurred in the prose that is pointed out and criticized. Adding more, the literary features which saved the prose from decline somehow are put in. This research will meet the deficiency we examined in the books written down about his prosaic literature. This will also open a new door for new researchers to take the themes and extend it further.
The word "Sofia" is plural of word "Sufi". Sufi means, a man who uses a simple dress and he is an emblem
of simplicity, contentment. He avoids all kinds of useless activities. Sufies, lead their lives according to the
teachings of Islam. These poius personalities worked in the Sub-continent for advancement, development
and glory of Islam. The field which gives us the knowledge about the lives of sufies is called Mysticism. So
In this thesis, general introduction of Mysticism, its meaning in light of Quran-o-Hadith, information and
teachings of Naqshbandia, Qadria, Chishtia, Sohrwardia will be discussed proving that their teachings
were not other than islamic Shariah.
The sufies and their companions acted upon the teachings of Islam and also preached them to public.
They worked to abolish all customs, traditions and practices against the Islam. They laid down the
foundation of an islamic society in which there will be no place for Terrorism, Sectarsim, Dishonesty,
Societal Partiality, Narcotics and all other losable activities. The lessons of these sufies were to construct
the society with Unity, Brotherhood, Modesty, Public Service, Patience, Prayer, Humbleness, Learning of
Education, Good dealings with others and Charity. Major problems faced to islamic society presently and
their solutions in the light of Sufies's teachings will be described.
