مولانا بشیر احمد خاں
افسوس ہے پچھلے دنوں دارالعلوم دیوبند کے نہایت لائق وفائق اورمشہور استاذ مولانا بشیر احمدخاں صاحب کااچانک انتقال ہوگیا۔ مولانا ریاضیات اور ہیئت میں برِصغیر ہندوپاک کے علماء میں اپنا جواب نہیں رکھتے تھے۔ اس کے علاوہ فقہ اورحدیث میں بھی اُن کی نظر وسیع تھی، چنانچہ دارالعلوم دیوبند میں ان فنون کی اونچی کتابیں اُن کے زیر ِ درس رہتی تھیں اور کبھی کسی طالب علم نے اپنی بے اطمینانی کااظہار نہیں کیا۔ علوم وفنون میں اس درجہ مہارت اور اُن میں شغف کے ساتھ مولانا میں نظم و نسق اور دنیوی معاملات و مسائل کو سمجھنے اور ان کے حل کرنے کی صلاحیت بھی بدرجہ ٔ اتم تھی۔ اسی بناء پر چندماہ ہوئے اُن کا انتخاب نائب مہتمم کے عہدہ کے لیے ہواتھا۔ عمر اگر چہ ستّر( ۷۰) کے لگ بھگ تھی، لیکن قویٰ مضبوط اور عام تندرستی بہت اچھی تھی۔ ۱ ۲؍ اگست کومجلسِ عاملہ کی میٹنگ میں وہ شروع سے آخرتک شریک رہے اوراُس کاکبھی وہم بھی نہیں ہوسکتا تھاکہ دو دن کے بعد ہی مولانا یک بیک راہی عالم ِبقا ہوجائیں گے۔یوں بھی عابد مرتاض اور خندہ جبین وخوش اخلاق تھے۔ اﷲ تعالیٰ مغفرت وبخشش کی نوازشوں سے نوازے اور اُن کے درجات اونچے کرے آمین۔ [اکتوبر۱۹۶۶ء]
Allah Almighty had created man with the instinct to choose between good and evil. It is nature that being a human to be indulged in some activity unconsciously and then to realize and feel sorry for the crime committed. To err is human and to forgive Devine. So sins should not be treated as a single entity for there are of various types, ranging from the small mild ones to the big severe ones, thus dividing people who commit them accordingly. When our father and mother, ate from the forbidden tree, which was wrong, they realized it there and then, and instantly felt pain and remorse and abstained from it and declared repentance with humility and knocked the door of Allah for mercy and forgiveness. Allah the almighty heard their prayers and embraced them in his mercy and forgave their sin, for he is most gracious, and most merciful. Similarly our prophet has set an ideal for treating the sinners, he did not turn his face away from them nor did he declare abandoning them or excommunicating them or even counting them as dirt that should be avoided or looked down upon. He treated them with an open heart and with utmost compassion, sympathy and tolerance, and took them by the hand to the righteous path, his sympathy was always present, a sun that never sets. This article is basically to deal with prophetic examples and virtual self how the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) treated the sinners and ignorant. Digital Literacy: Using Social Networking Website for English Language Learning The changing trends in Information Communication Technology (ICT) have turned the endeavor of language learning in to digital literacy. Social networking websites; a product of ICT are a hub for social interactions. Facebook is a social networking website and is used globally for interpersonal communication. The communicative feature of Facebook opens possibilities for Social Constructivist Learning. It- offers opportunities for academic activities. Learning a language is a Socio-academic activity which can he achieved through Facebook. The present work is a Mixed Method Research, with a locus on Qualitative Content Analysis. Quantitative analysis through Basic Descriptive Statistics is implied to support the Qualitative Content Analysis. The study explores the English language learning opportunities provided by Facebook. It investigates the opportunities available for learning English lexicon. The lexicon for vocabulary building is an important area for language development. The study focuses on activities provided by Facebook which emphasize on enhancing English language vocabulary. The study also aims at analyzing Facebook as a feasible Virtual Learning tool for Social Constructivist learning model. The study takes in to consideration the needs of virtual learners and establishes the possibility of Facebook as a Virtual Learning Environment. The findings of this dissertation have contributed in understanding of a new dimension in teaching learning environment in social networking which will benefit both learners and academicians in language learning.
