پروفیسر خواجہ حمید الدین شاہد
پروفیسر خواجہ حمید الدین شاہد نے ۲۲؍ اکتوبر ۲۰۰۱ء کو ۵ بجے شام کراچی میں وفات پائی، وہ اردو کے مشہور ادیب، محقق، صحافی اور شاعر تھے، پاکستان جانے سے پہلے وہ ’’ادارۂ ادبیات اردو‘‘ حیدرآباد کے تمام کاموں میں پیش پیش اور ادارے کے روح رواں ڈاکٹر سیدمحی الدین قادری کے دست راست رہے، عرصے تک ماہ نامہ ’’سب رس‘‘ کے مدیر بھی رہے۔
مرحوم نے عثمانیہ یونیورسٹی کے مختلف کالجوں میں اردو کے استاد کی حیثیت سے بھی نمایاں خدمات انجام دیں، اردو میں انہوں نے جو تصانیف یادگار چھوڑی ہیں ان میں ’’ارمغان امجد‘‘، ’’مثنوی تصویر جاناں‘‘ مصنفہ لچھمی نرائن شفیق ’’اردو میں سائنسی ادب‘‘، ’’رسالہ محمود خوش وہاں‘‘ اور ’’حیدرآباد کے شاعر‘‘ قابل ذکر ہیں۔ ۱۹۴۰ء میں ادارۂ ادبیات اردو کی دس سالہ سرگرمیوں کی مبسوط تاریخ ’’سرگذشت ادارہ‘‘ کے نام سے مرتب کی تھی جو وہاں سے شائع ہوچکی ہے، اس کے علاوہ رسالوں میں ادبی و تحقیقی مضامین بھی لکھتے رہے، شاعر بھی تھے لیکن کوئی مجموعہ شائع نہیں ہوا۔
پاکستان منتقل ہونے کے بعد بھی حیدرآباد اور ادارۂ ادبیات اردو ان کے دل و دماغ پر چھایا رہتا تھا۔ اپنے مکان کا نام ’’ایوان اردو‘‘ رکھا اور کراچی سے ماہنامہ ’’سب رس‘‘ جاری کیا اور اس کا ’’زور نمبر‘‘ کا اور حیدرآباد کی طرح کراچی میں بھی وہ اردو کی خدمت اور فروغ کے لیے سرگرم عمل رہے، بہادر یار جنگ اکیڈمی سے بھی تعلق تھا۔ اﷲتعالیٰ اردو زبان و ادب کے اس مخلص خادم کی مغفرت فرمائے اور ان کے اعزہ و اقربا کو صبر جمیل کی توفیق بخشے۔ (ضیاء الدین اصلاحی، جنوری ۲۰۰۲ء)
This study deals with a historical overview of the entry of Islam to the Indian subcontinent and the contribution of the companions, successor, and their followers in spreading the Prophetic Sunnah in it. Moreover, It contains a brief historical overview of the emergence of hadīth science، its weakness, renaissance, development, and flourishing, and a study of the attention of Muhaddithūn to the Sahih al-Bukhārī by writing its Shuruh, Taliqāt، Hawāshī, and Tarājim in the Indian subcontinent. It has been proven from the study of the history of hadīth science that after the entry of the Ghaznavids and the Ghurids to this region, the science of hadīth weakened due to the interest of the locals in rational sciences until Sultān Ala’ud-Dīn al-Khiljī (d. 716/1316) period. The scholars began to pay attention to the compilations of hadīth in general and Sahih al-Bukhārī in particular, and the first Sharh of Sahih al-Bukhārī appeared by Sheikh al-Hassan b. Muhammad al-Saghānī al-Lāhourī (d. 1252/650). It was revealed from a historical study of Sahih al-Bukhārī’s related studies in the Indian subcontinent that all were written in three stages. The first stage was the era of the renaissance of hadīth science and the emergence of Sahih al-Bukhari’s Shuruh and Hawāshī in the Arabic language. The second stage was the era of the development of hadīth sciences and the emergence of Sahih al-Bukhari’s Shuruh and Tarājim in the Arabic and Persian languages. Besides, the study proved that it was the era of translation and authorship in the Persian language, which was one of the most widespread languages، understanding, and delivered in the scientific community of the Indian subcontinent. As for the third stage, it is the flourishing of hadīth science and the emergence of a diversity of books about the Sahih al-Bukhārī in Arabic, Urdu, and Pashto. It was discovered from the study that the Urdu language took the place of Persian in the dissemination of legal sciences and the authorship of Sahih al-Bukhārī.
Human resource has become the most valuable possessions of any organization for their long-term survival and for becoming competitive. Now organizations main focus is on the development, retention, and management of human resource in such a way that will have more productive and profitable impacts on organization performance. In 21st century concepts like organizational performance and its relation with human resource management has become the most demanding research topics. To this end, the present study highlighted the important contribution of the psychological resources of employees in organizational performance. The main purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effect of psychological capital in the relationship between intellectual capital and organization performance with reference to the software industry with Pakistan?s context.
Survey type of research was applied for data collection through a questionnaire. A convenience sample of 320 software developers from software companies registered with P@SHA participated in this research and data was analyzed by applying descriptive and inferential statistics.This quantitative study was built on the theoretical foundation of resource-based theory and social network theory and also advocates the mediation model of Andrew Hayes for reporting the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance
Consistent with previous literature correlation results indicated that there is a significant relationship between the three constructs. Moreover,the regression analysis results confirmed that psychological capital mediates the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance. It is concluded from results insertion of psychological not only increase organizational performance, but it also boosts the intellectual capital of employees. So, it is empirically confirmed that the development of psychological resources of employees has multiple positive impacts on employees and organizational performance.
