42. Ash-Shura/The Consultation

I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah

The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.

42:01
a. Ha. Mim.

42:02
a. `Ayn. Sin. Qaf.

42:03
a. Likewise Allah, The Almighty, The All-Wise reveals on to you – O The Prophet - as HE did
to those Prophets before you.

42:04
a. Whatever is within the celestial realm and whatever is within the terrestrial world belongs to HIM,
b. for HE is All-Exalted, All-Supreme.

42:05
a. The celestial realm above them will almost burst apart, in awe of HIM, exalted be HE,
b. while the angels glorify the Praise of their Rabb- The Lord, and
c. seek forgiveness of whoever is on the earth.
d. Indeed, Allah is The Oft-Forgiving to the one who repents, The Infinitely Compassionate
towards the one who lives repentantly.

42:06
a. And as for those who take protectors other than HIM,
b. Allah is Ever-Watchful over them, and
c. you - O The Prophet - are not a guardian over them.

42:07
a. And so WE have revealed onto you a Qur’an in Arabic -
b. so you may warn people of the Mother of all Cities – Makkah – and communities and lands
around it.
c. And warn them of the coming of the Time of Assembly, about which there is absolutely no doubt,
d. when a group of them will be in the Paradise, and a group in the Blazing Fire.

a. And if Allah had so wanted, HE could have easily made them all into one single community
of believers,

Peace, the Essential Message of Islam

Misunderstanding of Westerner about Islam. Islam originates from the word "Salam" which means peace, submission and tolerance. Islam has never preached for intolerance, hatred and violence. It has despised violence and bloodshed and having no place for extremism. Islam is a religion of moderation rather than extremism. The Holy Quran enshrines benign treatment and attitude even towards non-believers, who are residing in Muslim state and to guarantee them all their basic rights of life and property. It negates hatred and fundamentalism and stands for universality. There arises question that how this situation has been muddled and the real soul of Islam is distorted? How incendiary norms have been infested in federally administered tribal areas of Pakistan? There is a need for implementation of anti-terror laws and to condemn terrorism in all its manifestations.

A Study of Inverted Class Room Pedagogy in Computer Science Teaching

An ?inverted class room? is a teaching environment that integrates the use of technology with active learning by exploration. In such a teaching environment, the class contact time is used for learning by doing whereas passive teaching is done out of class through the use of some communication medium (video lectures, or web-based content). The aim of this study is to investigate the inverted class room pedagogy in teaching undergraduate computer science course. Its primary objective is to help in bridging the gap of knowledge pertaining to use of technology and its effectiveness within the context of undergraduate computer science education. The course selected for this study is that of Data Structures offered at undergraduate level at a Pakistani university. This study employs the use of the Quasi Experiment, two groups (Control and Treatment) ? Pre-test and Post-test design model of experimentation. Key deductions of this study are that use of inverted class room pedagogy has positive impact on the learning process. Students who were participants of this experiment showed a higher knowledge gain than their control group counterparts. This difference is especially pronounced in the areas of problem solving and programming ability. The results from this study can be used to transform other traditional computer science courses to inverted form. Inverted class room pedagogy shows the potential to address issues of student disinterest, lack of motivation and lagging attendance.
