This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, quality of work life on employee performance at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, East Java Regional Office I. The study population was 1323 employees. Employees, the number of samples is 200 respondents. The technique of collecting data through a questionnaire. Model testing with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The test results show that the model (fit) can be seen from the values of GFI, AGFI, TLI, CFI, RMSEA and CMIN / DF respectively 0.902, 0.907, 0.964, 0.968, 0.026 and 1.127 which indicate the model fit criteria. The results showed that: 1) Compensation has a significant effect on Quality of Work Life, 2) Compensation has a significant effect on Performance, 3) Quality of Work Life has a significant effect on Performance, 4) Compensation has no significant effect on Performance through Quality of Work Life for Office employees Region of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, East Java I
Background:
Stuttering is a communication disorder that disrupts normal fluency and characteristics of speech. Social anxiety disorder is a debilitating anxiety disorder associated with significant life
impairment. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate overall functioning for adults who stutter with and without a diagnosis of social anxiety disorder.
Objective:
To compare the adults who stutter with and without social anxiety
Methodology:
This study is correlational and purposive sampling technique and was used to find the comparison of adults who stutter with and without social anxiety. The sample was collected from Riphah Rehabilitation center, Lahore, Mayo Hospital Lahore, and DHQ Toba Tek Singh. Participant with ages of 19 to 35 years were taken for present study who voluntarily participated in this study was selected on the basis of following inclusion and exclusion criteria. Both male and female students included. Students who stutter and have no physical ailment included whereas School students were excluded. People having any mental and physical issue were excluded. SSI3 and social anxiety scale was used. SPSS 17 was used for data entry and analysis.
Results:
A total 80 people participated in the study. Data was collected from institutes with 53.5% males and 46.5% females. Results showed that there is a significant relationship between social anxiety and stuttering and people who stutter exhibit more social anxiety and negative belief of life.
Conclusion:
People who stutter show more social anxiety while doing daily tasks and different in demographics than those who do not stutter.
