آہ! بدر کامل غروب ہوگیا
افسوس اور سخت افسوس ہے کہ ۱۹؍ جون کو مولانا بدرالدین صاحب اصلاحی ناظم مدرستہ الاصلاح و دائرہ حمیدیہ رحلت فرماگئے، اناﷲ وانا الیہ راجعون۔
کئی برس سے انہیں دردِ پاکی شکایت تھی، اس کے علاج کے لیے بمبئی تشریف لے گئے مگر تکلیف کم ہونے کے بجائے بڑھتی گئی، آمدو رفت کا سلسلہ اور ساری سرگرمیاں منقطع ہوگئیں۔ تاہم دل و دماغ کام کررہا تھا، مشکلات اور پیچیدہ مسائل میں رہنمائی بھی فرماتے تھے۔
۱۶؍ جون کو مدرستہ الاصلاح کی مجلس انتظامیہ کا جلسہ تھا، وہیں ان کی شدید علالت کی خبر ملی ۱۸؍ جون کو عیادت کے لیے گیا تو گردش روزگار کا یہ عجیب منظر دیکھ کر بدحواس ہوگیا کہ بلبل ہزار داستاں کی طرح چہکنے، اپنی گل افشانی گفتار سے مجلس کو زعفران زار بنانے اور اپنی خطابت اور خوش بیانی سے مسحور کرنے والے کی زبان گنگ ہوگئی ہے اور میں یہ حسرت ہی لیے رہ گیا کہ ع بات کرتے کہ میں لب تشنہ تقریر تھا۔ شاید اشارے سے کچھ کہا ہو مگر میں سمجھ نہیں سکا، ہوش و حواس بھی اچھی طرح بجا نہیں تھے۔ جسم گل کر ہڈیوں کا ڈھانچہ رہ گیا تھا، واپسی میں راستے بھر اور رات کو بھی بڑی دیر تک عجیب خلش اور بے چینی رہی، یہ کرب و اضطراب اس لیے تھا کہ مدرستہ الاصلاح کے اغراض و مقاصد کا حقیقی مبلغ اور ’’فکر حمید‘‘ کا اصلی شارح و ترجمان دنیا سے رخصت ہونے والا ہے، اور اس کا کوئی بدل اور جانشین نہیں ع افسوس کہ از قبیلہ مجنوں کسے نہ ماند۔

Many western scholars have tried to interpret the Holy Qur’an into other languages of the world. William Montgomery Watt and Robert Spencer are included in the list of those commentators of the Qur’an who have presented their Quranic commentary in English language. But while interpreting the verses of the Holy Qur’an about the life, character and teachings of the Holy Prophet both the scholars have fabricated the teachings of the Holy Qur’an. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the interpretation of both western writers about the verses of Sūrah al-Aḥzāb in which the necessary information about the marriage of Prophet Muhammad with Hazrat Zainab has been discussed. Through the text analysis method and comparative and analytical approach, this article has raised some of the errors and propaganda elements found in the commentaries of both the Western scholars. The article proves that the writings of Western scholars like this need to be refined and scrutinized carefully in maintaining the sanctity of Islam and respecting the rights of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This paper concludes that all such allegations are either based on fabricated historical reports or false interpretations and misunderstanding of the facts.
In order to study the effectiveness of Calcium chloride treatments on postharvest quality and storage behavior of “Surkh” cultivar of loquat, fruit was dipped in three concentrations (1%, 2% and 3%) of Calcium chloride for two minutes and stored in soft board cartons at 4 ̊C in a cold store for 10 weeks period. The fruit was harvested at mature ripe stage, clipped, sorted and washed before applying the treatments. Changes in weight loss, firmness, total soluble solids (TSS), browning index (BI), ascorbic acid, titratable acidity (TA) and relative electrical conductivity (REC) were studied. One percent CaCl2 did not affect quality parameters of the fruit compared to control treatment, whereas, 2% and 3% CaCl2 retained maximum firmness, TSS, ascorbic acid content reduced browning index (BI) , relative electrical conductivity (REC) and weight loss up to 4-5 weeks.
