مولانا اسلم صاحب جیراج پوری
مولوی اقبال احمد خاں صاحب سہیل کی وفات کا حادثہ ابھی تازہ تھا کہ اعظم گڑھ کی ایک اور نامور شخصیت اٹھ گئی، اور ملک کے مشہور مصنف اور صاحب قلم مولانا اسلم صاحب جیراج پوری نے ۲۸؍ دسمبر کو انتقال کیا، ان کا وطن اعظم گڑھ کا مشہور گاؤں جیراجپور تھا، ان کے والد مولانا سلامت اﷲ صاحب جماعت اہل حدیث کے ممتاز علماء میں تھے، نواب صدیق حسن خان نے بھوپال میں جن علماء کو جمع کیا تھا، ان میں ایک مولانا سلامت اﷲ صاحب بھی تھے، وہ بھوپال کے عربی مدارس کے مہتمم تھے، اس لیے مولانا اسلم صاحب کی تعلیم و تربیت وہیں ہوئی، تکمیل تعلیم کے بعد وہ پیسہ اخبار لاہور کے علماء ادارت میں شامل ہوگئے، پھر علی گڑھ کالجڈ اسکول میں عربی کے مدرس ہوئے، کچھ دنوں تک لٹن لائبریری کے شعبہ مشرقیات کے نگراں رہے، اور عربی فارسی کتابوں کی فہرست مرتب کی، مسلم یونیورسٹی قائم ہونے کے بعد شعبہ عربی کے لکچرر ہوگئے، پھر جامعہ ملیہ کے قیام کے بعد یونیورسٹی سے قطع تعلق کرکے جامعہ ملیہ چلے آئے اور تاریخ اسلام کے پروفیسر مقرر ہوئے، اور آخر عمر تک جامعہ سے وابستہ رہے، اور بالآخر اسی کی خاک کا پیوند ہوئے۔
مرحوم صاحب علم و نظر عالم تھے، اگرچہ ان کی تعلیم پرانے اور پھر اہل حدیث کے ماحول میں ہوئی تھی لیکن وہ بڑے روشن خیال اور زمانہ کے حالات و رجحانات سے باخبر تھے، اور کسی سوسائٹی میں اجنبی نہیں معلوم ہوتے تھے، تالیف و تصنیف کا ذوق ابتداء سے تھا، اسلامی تاریخ پر تاریخ الامت، سوانح عمرو بن العاصؓ، تاریخ نجد، حیات حافظ، اور حیات جامی وغیرہ بہت سی کتابیں لکھیں، ان میں تاریخ الامت زیادہ مقبول ہوئی، ان کے مضامین کا ایک مجموعہ نوادرات کے نام سے...
Shaikh Abdul Aziz Dabbagh was a prominent Sufi scholar of the Shdhiliyah order. Owing to his moral excellence and righteousness, he endeavored to rejuvenate the Sufism according to the basic principles of Quran and Sunnah. This study aims at to explore the impacts of Shaikh Abdul Aziz Dabbagh’s ideology about Sufism in the territory of Sub-Continent. His philosophy about Sufism has some explicit and unique features which were different from other Sufis of his time. In his method, he gave special importance to abide by the rulings of Quran and Sunnah firmly rather than the prevailing Sufi traditions and asked his disciples to refrain from un-Islamic practices which were being accepted by other so-called Sufis. In this way, he exposed the genuine picture of Sufism before the world. Resultantly, his ideas were widely accepted in Scholars and masses too. In this study, his teachings about Sufism have been designated in detail and peculiarity from other Sufis has been focused.
This study was comparative study of teaching practices and maladaptive behaviors of the students of three
armed forces colleges. In which both the methods qualitative and quantitative were used. The major purpose
of this study was to compare the teaching practices in three armed forces colleges and find out most common
teaching practices.
The study was also focused on comparison of maladaptive behaviours of the students and find out most
common maladaptive behaviours of secondary level students. Efforts were also made to find out the reasons
and possible solutions of those behaviours. Researcher has selected three armed forces colleges.
The study focused on secondary level students and teachers. Target population for this study was seven
hundred and ninety nine students. Total three hundred and sixty students were selected from the target
population, among them one hundred and eighty were males and one hundred and eighty females. All
teachers (sixty six) who were teaching at secondary level in three armed forces colleges. Researcher has
designed two separate questionnaires for students and teachers. SPSS software was used to analyze the data.
Statistical techniques mean difference, frequency distribution; one way ANOVA, t-test and chi square were
used to examine the data. Analysis of variance was used to find out significant difference between teaching
practices, t-test was used to find out gender differences and chi square was used to find out significant
differences between maladaptive behaviors of the students.
Main findings indicated that there were significant differences in teaching practices in three armed forces
colleges at secondary level.
It was concluded that behaviors like bullying, fighting, abusing, disrespect, irregular, whispering, talking
during lecture etc. were common in the students of armed forces colleges, but significant differences were
found in these behaviors, fighting, refusal to follow instruction, annoying other children, paying attention to
something else, interruption etc. The results also indicated significant differences in the opinion of male and
female students. The findings of the research will be equally important for the teachers, parents and
administrators of secondary schools.
