23. Al-Mu’minun/The Believers
I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah
The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.
23:01
a. Indeed, The Believers will succeed.
23:02
a. The Believers are those who humble themselves in their Salat/Prayers,
23:03
a. and those who avoid frivolous talk and behavior,
23:04
a. and those who regularly pay out the Zakat/annual charity,
23:05
a. and those who guard their chastity -
23:06
except from their spouses or from those whom their right hands possess -
for then, indeed, they are free from blame.
23:07
a. But whoever seeks beyond that limit, those - they are the transgressors,
23:08
a. and those who faithfully keep their trusts, pledges, contracts, and promises,
23:09
a. and those who guard their Salat/Prayers from worldly distractions.
23:10
a. It is they - they are the inheritors -
23:11
who will inherit the Paradise of Firdaws,
they will live therein forever!
23:12
And, indeed, WE created the human being out of the essence of clay.
23:13
Thereafter, WE made him as a mingled drop in a secure repository of the female’s womb.
23:14
And, then, WE made an embryo/clot from the drop,
and then WE made a lump from the embryo/clot,
and, then, WE made bones from the chewed-up lump,
and, then, WE clothed the bones with flesh and muscles.
And, then, out of that tiny drop, WE structured him into yet another creation.
So Exalted is Allah - the Best Creator of all creators!
The paper endeavors to shed some light on the relationship between Islamic World and the West especially America. Using narative methodology, we examine the concept of clash of civilisation aggressively followed by the Western Philosophers and thinkers and antegnoistic approach towards Muslims and Islamic Way of life, the gulf between the two is widening to an alarming extent. Looking, at this scenario, the paper suggests that emphasis should be laid on inter-cultural complementarity, reframe differences and pursue the cause of peaceful coexistence among the nations of the world.
Multilayer Flood-welding repair of hot forging dies is a very useful technique which can remarkably enhance the working life of the die. Conventional quenched and tempered dies do not exhibit good resistance to wear. Therefore, these dies are nitrided to improve wear resistance but after the production of few numbers of forgings cracks are produced. That’s why here multilayer flood-welding technique has been adapted to improve the die life and to establish the optimum parameters for this technique. In the current work, the modified H12 hot-work tool steel was weld deposited in the cavity of hot-forging dies and their performance was monitored visually for the die condition and with the macroscopic and microscopic examination. It was analyzed that the thicknesses of the both hard upper ‘capping layer’ and intermediate ‘buffer layer’ have a prominent influence on the performance and the life hot forging die. For a particular dimensions and contour of the die impression, there came out an optimal thickness of the capping layer that provided the best performance. Further increase in capping layers thickness exhibited brittle cracking, whereas thinner capping layers produced early wear and plastic deformation. For intermediate buffer layer, in order to provide adequate backup support to capping layer, a certain minimum thickness level is required. This process minimized the die steel consumption because the thickness of the forging die is not reduced in the process of reworking and ultimately the process is cost effective. Moreover, the Multilayered flood-welded dies were gas nitrided to further enhance the life of the forging die. The results have shown that double stage nitriding process is good for these dies which produced minimum compound layer on the nitrided surface. The die life as a result of nitriding was amazingly increased compared to normal Multilayered flood- welded dies. The dies showed very slow wear and thermal fatigue cracking after the production of large number of forgings. By employing these dies excellent overall surface finish of the forged parts was achieved.
