تاب(۱۹۲۹ء ) کا اصل نام محمد اسلم ہے۔ لیکن ان کی پہچان تابؔ اسلم کے نام سے ہے ۔آپ سیالکوٹ میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ۱۹۴۸ء میں محکمہ برقیات میں ملازم ہو گئے۔ ۱۹۴۹ء میں ان کی پہلی نظم ’’ادب لطیف‘‘میں مرزا ادیب نے شامل کی۔ تابؔ نے شاعری کا آغاز سکول کے زمانے سے ہی کر دیا تھا۔ مقامی ادبی تنظیموں اور مشاعروں میں باقاعدگی سے ایک سامع کی حیثیت سے شرکت کرتے تھے۔(۷۶۴)تابؔ کے ابتدائی کلام میں سادگی اور معصومیت نظر آتی ہے۔ ان کا شعری کلام ’’فردوس ادب‘‘، ’’اوراق‘‘،’’افکار‘‘،’’لیل و نہار‘‘،’’امروز‘‘، ’’مشرق‘‘،’’لاہور‘‘،’’رابطہ‘‘،’’کراچی‘‘،’’ادب لطیف‘‘،’’ادبی دنیا‘‘،’’ہمایوں‘‘،’’نیرنگ خیال‘‘،’’فنون‘‘، ’’ساقی‘‘کراچی اور ’’ید بیضا‘‘سیالکوٹ میں شائع ہوتارہا۔ تابؔ جگر مراد آبادی کے ساتھ سیالکوٹ کے مشاعروں میں شرکت کرتے تھے۔ ۱۹۶۰ء میں ’’بزمِ فکر و فن‘‘ ایک ادبی تنظیم کے تاب سیکرٹری مقرر ہوئے۔ ۱۹۶۴ء میں تابؔ نے سیالکوٹ میں ’’حلقہ اربابِ ذوق‘‘ نے نام سے ایک انجمن قائم کی جس کے کئی سال تابؔ سیکرٹری رہے۔(۷۶۵) تاب کا پہلا شعری مجموعہ ’’زخمِ وفا‘‘ ۱۹۷۲ء کو مکتبہ عالیہ لاہورنے شائع کیا۔ دوسرا شعری مجموعہ’’نقشِ آب‘‘ ۱۹۷۵ء کو مکتبہ عالیہ نے طبع کیا۔ تیسرا شعری مجموعہ ’’سراب جاں‘‘ بنگش بک ڈپو لاہور نے ۱۹۹۵ء میں شائع کیا۔ چوتھا شعری مجموعہ ’’تیرے یاد کے سارے موسم‘‘ الحمد پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۲۰۰۱ء میں طبع کیا۔ تابؔ اسلم کا پانچواں شعری مجموعہ’’درد تیرے فراق کے ‘‘ نام سے زیر تکمیل ہے۔
تاب نے۱۹۴۹ء میں اپنی شاعری کی ابتدا کی تو ان کی زیادہ توجہ نظم کی طرف تھی ۔انھوں نے کم وبیش ہر موضوع پر نظم تحریر کی۔ بعد میں ان کا غالب رجحان غزل کی طرف رہا۔ آج بھی وہ غزل لکھ رہے ہیں مگر کہیں کہیں نظم بھی لکھتے...
In the present age, youth occupy an important position and can play a very important role in reforming and improving the world conditions. In Quran several methods are suggested for character building of youth for example following “Uswa-e-Hasna” and by preaching and motivation of youth the fear Allah, the crated in their heard for reforming them. In some cases, the punishment can also reformed of youth. Youth is an important entity of any human society. Particularly in an Islamic society, youth has great significance. Youth is considered as a junction of past, present and future. The role of young generation cannot be neglected in the building of character, changes in circumstances and development of society. Youth should play a positive and effective role against various evils, which are prevalent in human society. What can be the religious social, political, ethical and educational duties of the Muslim? How can they play their role in reformation of society? How can they be bright stars of their country by fulfilling their duties? How can the whole humanity and particularly Islamic Ummah get benefits from their youth? The answers to these questions are central idea and theme of this article, generally in the light of Islam and particularly in the light of seerah-un-nabwiyia. In following lines, it has been tried to impart feelings of high self-esteem in the young generation who have forgotten it. It is an effort to motivate the youth for practical actions.
Compulsive buying behavior is a phenomenon that has received significant attention of the researchers in the field of psychology, consumer behavior and marketing. It is an addictive propensity arises from the urges for buying something. Under this behavior buying is a source of relief from stress but ultimately disturb usual functioning. Researchers concluded that compulsive buying behavior is goal-oriented behavior and it depends upon psychological and environmental stimuli.
The current study analyzes the psychological viewpoint of consumer?s compulsive buying behavior.Study also analyzes how attitude towards advertising is related with compulsive buying behavior and personality traits.Current study is valuable to the literature in following ways. Firstly, study presents broad dialogue on consumer?s compulsive buying behavior. Secondly, it discusses the bearing of personality traits on the psychological motives of consumer and it also discusses the role of attitude towards advertising on the psychological motives i.e. compulsive buying behavior. Thirdly, framework of the research verifies the social cognitive theory and acknowledges that cognitions and environment has strong effect on the consumer buying behavior and development of personality traits.
Data for current study is collected from a sample of 250 shoppers of departmental stores. Out of 250 responses 210 found as complete and included in data analysis. Regression analysis employed to test hypotheses and Baron and Kenny?s (1986) method is adopted to test mediation. The results suggest that consumer?s personality traits have significant association with compulsive buying behavior as well as attitude towards adverting is an important construct to understand the association of personality traits and compulsive buying behavior. Results of the study expressed that attitude towards advertising act as partial mediator in the relationship of compulsive buying behavior and personality traits.
Current study is a valuable addition in the literature of marketing research and the finding of the study would be helpful for researcher, retailers, decision makers and advertisers. Implication for policy makers would be development of consumer laws. Advertiser and decision authorities are directed to devise educational programs form such consumer to protect them from negative consequences. As in extreme conditions compulsive buying behavior leads to severe financial problems.For researcher it is beneficial for the further understanding of the compulsive buying behavior in context of personality traits.
