گلوبل وارمنگ، جسے عالمی درجہ حرارت میں اضافہ بھی کہا جاتا ہے، زمین کے موسمی نظام میں مسلسل بڑھتی ہوئی حرارت کا عمل ہے۔ اس کی بنیادی وجہ گرین ہاؤس گیسوں جیسے کاربن ڈائی آکسائیڈ، میتھین، اور نائٹروس آکسائیڈ کی مقدار میں اضافہ ہے، جو انسانی سرگرمیوں، مثلاً فوسل فیولز کا جلانا، جنگلات کی کٹائی، اور زراعت سے پیدا ہوتی ہیں۔ گلوبل وارمنگ کی بڑی وجہ ماحولیاتی آلودگی میں بے پناہ اضافہ ہے۔ماحولیاتی آلودگی سے مراد قدرتی ماحول میں ایسے اجزاء شامل کرنا ہے جس کی وجہ سے ماحول میں منفی اور ناخوشگوار تبدیلیاں واقع ہوں۔ زمینی درجہ حرارت میں اضافہ کی بنیادی وجہ ماحول میں انسانی مداخلت ہے۔ ربِ کائنات نے قدرتی وسائل سے مالا مال کیا ہے لیکن جدید انسان سرمایہ کی حرص میں اس صاف ستھرے ماحول میں بعض ایسے مضر اجزاء یا مادّے شامل کررہا ہے، جس کی وجہ سے ماحولیاتی و موسمیاتی تبدیلیاں وقوع پذیر ہورہی ہیں۔ ماحولیاتی تبدیلیاں نہ صرف امراض میں اضافے کا سبب بن رہی ہیں بلکہ انسانی جسم کا دفاعی نظام بھی بُری طرح متاثر کررہی ہیں۔
موسمیاتی تبدیلیاں بالواسطہ یا بلا واسطہ طور پر ہماری زندگیوں میں منفی کردار ادا کرتی ہیں۔ماحولیاتی آلودگی نےہر جان دار کو اپنے شکنجے میں لے رکھا ہے۔ ماحولیاتی آلودگی کے نتیجے میں مختلف بیماریوں مثلاً پھیپھڑوں کے امراض، دَمے، تپِ دق، دِل، جِلدی اور آنکھوں کے امراض کی شرح میں مسلسل اضافہ ہورہا ہے۔ ریسرچ پورٹس کے مطابق دُنیا بَھر میں روزانہ لاکھوں افراد ماحولیاتی آلودگی کی وجہ سے مختلف عوراض کا شکار ہورہے ہیں۔ ان میں سانس کا مسئلہ، دَمہ، سینے کا انفیکشن،ہارٹ انفیکشن ،ہائی بلڈ پریشر،جلدی امراض، ہارٹ اٹیک اور فالج وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ توانائی کے لئے وسیع پیمانے پر فوسل فیولز کا استعمال درجہ میں اضافے کی بڑی وجہ ہے۔ٹرانسپورٹ کے...
Islam lays emphasis on social justice and sharing of resources between the haves and the have-nots. In order to create such a balanced socio-economic environment, the inter-class lending is considered to be a way forward ethical activity. Qard is a gratuitous contract in which one gives a certain homogeneous wealth to other against the condition of returning of similar value of wealth upon demand or after termination of payback period. As per Sharia'h, the Qard should not bring any return or benefit for the lender because that would be equivalent to Ribâ. Therefore the lender cannot charge or demand any extra amount against the extension on the payback period awarded to the poor borrower. Furthermore, Islam considers the difference between debtors who default by procrastination and those who default by necessity. The Holy Qur'an, in principal, recommends having compassion for the poor barrowers and giving them the grace period till they have the capacity to payback. In such scenario the Muslim lenders perceive that the Islam has set unilateral direction in favor of borrowers only. Therefore the lenders feel that they are handicapped or helpless and found themselves in a strangled situation. This study is designed to solve the dilemma of lenders and explore risk mitigation strategies in case of insolvency of borrowers. The verses from the Holy Qur'an & Hadith of the Messenger (PBUH) and also work of prominent Sharia'h Scholars were considered to form a comprehensive guideline to mitigate the lender’s risk. Hence it has been proved that the Islam has given legal rights to the lender and allows some practical recovery strategies & tactics to recover the funds from the underprivileged borrowers. This study will play a key role in risk mitigation for default and late payments.
The non-destructive analysis of a Solid Pharmaceutical Product (SPP) is essential to verify the quality without destroying the product. This analysis may be performed using various image processing and signal processing techniques on images and multispectral data. Based on this analysis, an SPP may be classified as defective or non-defective. The SPP (categorized as defective) are exposed to three different environmental factors (humidity, temperature and moisture) over different time periods and the variations in data are analyzed to judge the effects of these factors on classification of an SPP. In this research, we have proposed two non-destructive methods to identify defective and non-defective SPPs using their surface morphology. In first approach, multiple textural features are extracted using microscopic images of the surface of the defective and non-defective SPPs. These textural features are Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix, Run Length Matrix, Histogram, Auto Regressive Model and HAAR Wavelet. Total textural features extracted from microscopic images are 281. The features are reduced using three feature reduction techniques; Chi-square, Gain Ratio and Relief-F. We have formulated three feature sets, through experimentation, with 281, 15 and 2 features. We have used four classifiers namely Support Vector Machine, K-Nearest Neighbors, Naïve Bayes and Ensemble of Classifiers, to calculate the accuracy of proposed approach. The classifiers are implemented using leave-one-out cross validation and holdout validation methods. We tested each classifier against all feature sets and the results were compared. The results showed that in most of the cases, Support Vector Machine performed better than the other classifiers. In second approach, we have used multispectral data and applied wavelet transformations in conjunction with various machine learning techniques for the classification. The results showed that the spectrum extracted from Ultra Violet x wavelength range is more suitable for the classification between defective and non-defective SPPs. Furthermore, results also described that K-Nearest Neighbors classifier or Ensemble of Classifiers is a more appropriate classifier. In the last, the hybrid of the both approaches was tested. The analysis of the results showed that the hybrid approach is better than the individual ones. An accuracy of 94% is achieved using K-Nearest Neighbors when a combined dataset of SPPs affected by all of the three environmental factors is used.
