تنقید:
تنقید عربی زبان کا لفظ ہے۔جس کے معنی جانچنا، پرکھنا ، کھرے اور کھوٹے کو الگ کرنا ہیں۔
تنقیدکی ضرورت و اہمیت:
تنقید کا سلسلہ تخلیق آدم سے شروع ہوا۔ جب اللہ تعالی نے حضرت آدم ؑکو پید اکیا تو فرشتوں نے اللہ سے گزارش کہ کہ یہ انسان دنیا میں جاکر فساد اور لڑائی جھگڑے کرے گا۔ اس کی تخلیق کی ضرورت کیوں پیش آئی؟عبادت کے لیے تو ہم کافی ہیں۔ اس کی تخلیق پر نظر ثانی کی جائے۔اللہ نے فرشتوں کوغرض تخلیق آدم? سے آگاہ کیا۔سب سے پہلے آدم? پر تنقید کی گئی یعنی تخلیق پر تنقید ہوئی۔اس سے یہ بھی واضع ہوا کہ تنقید کے لیے تخلیق کا ہونا ضروری ہے۔
تنقید تخلیقی ذہن کو جلا بخشتی ہے جس کی وجہ سے صحت مند تخلیق وجود میں آتی ہے۔تنقید تخلیق کے فن کے لیے سازگار ماحول مہیا کرتی ہے۔مثلا ایک شاعر نظم میں بے ہودہ الفاظ استعمال کرتا ہے تونقاد اس کو دھوڈالتا ہے۔اس لیے آئندہ لکھنے والے اس تنقید کو مدنظر رکھیں گے تنقید کا دوسرا کام فن پاروں کی تشریح و توضیع کرنا ہے مثلا نقادکیا کہنا چاہ رہا ہے۔تخلیق کار تخلیق کردیتا ہے اور نقاد کا کام یہ ہے کہ وہ وضاحت کرکے بتاتا ہے کہ کیا صحیح ہے اور کیا غلط ہے۔ایک انگریز مفکر "ڈیوڈ ڈیشن "کہتے ہیں:
" نقاد ادب کے بارے میں کئی قسم کے سوالات اٹھاتا ہے۔تاہم اگر وہ کوئی سوال نہ بھی اٹھائے تووہ فن پارے کے مختلف طریقوں سے شرح کرکے وضاحت کرکے قاری کے حسن فن میں اضافہ کرتا ہے۔نقاد ادب کے بارے میں کئی سوالات اٹھا تا ہے۔"

Developing An Improved Heart Rate Monitor With Work-Out Training Android Application And Real Time Audio Coaching

TechnoHeart is a digital way of monitoring heart rate using a Heart Rate Monitor device and an android phone. Moreover, this is made more special through its work-out training which is designed to help users set and achieve their target heart rate and monitor at what training intensity they are during a strenuous exercise. The training is made more interactive as the application has its real-time audio coaching. The need for this application comes from three sources; First, some athletes, non-athletes and even doctors are still using the traditional way of getting the heart rate; Second, training intensity is not monitored and target heart rate is not achieved; Third, most mobile developments do not tailor the need of users who undergo work-out training. With the following needs, objectives were set; First, to connect an HRM (Heart Rate Monitoring) device to an android mobile device and display individual’s heart rate in digital form through mobile; Second, to create a work-out training program using the Karvonen Formula; Third, to enable users know one’s target heart rate by using a Karvonen calculator; Fourth, to notify users in real time with every sudden change and the needed action in order to keep an effective training exercise. The project is to explore this and other similar concepts to develop a design that optimally satisfies all of these objectives. The project addresses all of these objectives while meeting the constraints given. The project was deployed in three different sets of users: The University of Mindanao Athletes, The elderly users aging from 50-80 years old and the other users aging from 12-49 years old. The researchers recommend the use of TechnoHeart for athletes and non-athletes who are aiming for an effective cardiovascular training. And for the next researchers, they can focus on the compatibility of the said application to other mobile platforms like iOS, Blackberry, Windows and etc. And also, they may upload application in the internet such as in social networking sites or any features that would make this project more usable.

Attitudes and Intentions of Entrepreneurs: A Comparative Study of Pakistan and Thailand

Entrepreneurship is an energetic process for the creation of a new business or venture. Today, it has the central role in developed and developing economies which are facing big challenges such as globalization, population explosion, poor social development, economic competition and downturns. This research investigates an individual’s attitudes and intentions towards entrepreneurship. With the support of the theory of planned behavior (TPB), a theoretical framework has been developed. This study proposes descriptive methodology in which cross-sectional data is collected from the students of public sector universities of Pakistan and Thailand. By applying a survey questionnaire, 700 bachelor and master degree students have been handed over questionnaires through personal visits, emails, post mail, and Survey Monkey in Pakistan and Thailand respectively. The response rate was 60.28% and 59.85% respectively. After cleaning the data, 385 samples from Pakistan and 392 from Thailand were used for final usage. By applying the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 21.0 for windows, overall reliability of survey questionnaire was 0.803 and 0.750 respectively. Statistical results obtained through Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analysis show that attitude towards behavior and subjective norms have positive and significant relationship with entrepreneurship intention in both the countries. However, perceived behavioral control has positive and significant relationship with entrepreneurship intentions in Thailand and not significant relationship in Pakistan. Further, analysis shows that need for achievement, self-esteem, personal control and innovation capability has positive and significant relationship with entrepreneurship attitude in Pakistan and Thailand except self-esteem in Thailand. By applying mean score, data shows that attitude towards behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, need for achievement, selfesteem, personal control and innovation capability are not stronger in Pakistan than in Thailand. However, a subjective norm is stronger in Pakistani individuals than Thais. This study may contribute to entrepreneurship literature and the TPB theory. Furthermore, this research may support policy makers and government agents to reduce the burden of unemployment in a country. Finally, this study concludes with the limitations and future research avenues.
