پس منظر:
لان جائنس کے بعد۱۳۰۰ سال تک خاموشی رہتی ہے اور پھر "دانتے" کے آنے سے یہ خاموشی ٹوٹتی ہے۔انگلستان میں "فلپ سڈنی" ، فرانس کے "بولو"ڈرائیڈن ، پوپ، جانس، گوئٹے، ورڈز ورتھ، کولرج وغیرہ جیسے قابل ذکر نام ہمارے سامنے آتے ہیں۔
ورڈزورتھ:
ورڈز ورتھ کا تعلق انگلینڈ سے تھا۔ اس کی ملاقات کولرج سے ہوئی اور مل کر سوچا جو شاعری ہو رہی ہے اس میں کوئی نئی بات نہیں ہے۔لہذا وقت کی ضرورت ہے کہ انگریزی ادب میں تبدیلی لائیں تاکہ مقصدیت کو بھی ہو۔ لوگوں کو فائدہ بھی ہوگا اس کے لیے ماحول تیار کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ ورڈزورتھ نے اپنی کتاب"کلیریکل بلیڈز " کے دوسرے ایڈیشن میں ایک مقدمہ یعنی تمہید لکھی۔جیسے مقدمہ شعر و شاعری میں حالی نے شروع میں جو صفحات لکھے اردو ادب میں ان کو بنیادی اہمیت حاصلہے۔ اسی طریقے سے جو تمہید ورڈزورتھ نے لکھی وہ تنقید کا پورا راستہ متعین کرتی ہے۔اس میں انہوں نے اپنا نکتہ نظر اور ماہیت بیان کی۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ نئی شاعری کس طرح کی ہونی چاہیئے۔اس کے قواعد و ضوابط کیا ہوں۔ورڈز ورتھ کی تمہید اس اعلان سے شروع ہوتی ہے :
"شاعری بادشاہوں، امیروں اور نوابوں کے لیے نہیں ہے۔اب وہ دور ختم ہوگیا جب اس بات کا خیال رکھا جاتا تھا کہ بادشاہوں کو جو پسند ہے وہ لکھا جائے۔ اب جو موضوعات اور زبان کا معیار ہے وہ لکھا جائے۔اس کے لیے کچھ اصول متعین کیے جانے ہیں۔انہی پر عمل کیا جائے گا۔ اب زبان اور موضوع شاہی دربار سے نکل کر عوام میں واپس آجائے گا۔"
ورڈزورتھ نے جو تھیوری پیش کی اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اب عوام کے لیے لکھیں۔ ورڈزورتھ نے لکھا کہ:

The ancient Arab started the study of Cohesion to prove the Qur‘ānic text as “Mojza” and “ijaaz” because of its organization and arrangement of text according the “Nazem” “Insijaam” “Ittisaaq” “Iltehaam” and many others. The English term that substitutes these terms is just Cohesion and Coherence. So we can say that the Arab was doing well about the discourse/textual analysis of the texts, especially the Qur‘ānic textual cohesion was their main goal. This research work differ from previous works in many aspects, while the researcher focuses on the concept of cohesion and its various aspects, particularly in terms of the cohesion and coherence in Arabic Language in the light of Qur‘ānic text. This study is based on economic analysis of moonlighting and wage rate determination in higher education institutes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The main objective was to investigate the determinants of moonlighting and moonlighting wage in public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Multi-stage sampling was used. In the first stage, the population was stratified into rural, semi urban and urban universities. A simple random sample of nine universities was selected from each stratum using proportional allocation method. In stage two, each of the selected universities (primary sampling units) were further stratified according to the designation of the faculty and a sample of 656 faculty members was selected using simple random sampling with proportional allocation of units‟ selection. Logistic regression was used for analysis based on the incidence of moonlighting or not moonlighting while generalized linear modeling and ordinary least square was used for moonlighting wage rate determinants. Wage rate of second job, accumulative wage of more than one second jobs, employment status and cadre, hours of work at second job, location and marital status were found significant in its effect towards moonlighting. Moonlighting wage rate was found to be significantly affected by location, age, hours of work at second job, and job grades. The study found a reliable measure which divided moonlighting into occupation specific and non occupation specific motives. There was found no significant difference between the need fulfillment of those who moonlight and those who does not. Moonlighters were found more need deficient in security, esteem and actualization needs. It was recommended to align the salaries of the employees across locations and wages at primary job to be increased and focus on need fulfillment may be prioritized. Moonlighting may be encouraged as it leads the moonlighters to improve their academic performance. However it should not suffer their efficiency at their primary work place. Moonlighting should be taken by choice and not by chance to meet/feel minimum need fulfillment deficiency. In some institutions where employees cannot be recruited on regular basis, moonlighters can help perform such duties and contribute to organizations in terms of teaching and research. So it should be encouraged.
