حیدرآباد سے واپس پہنچتے ہی مولانا شاہ معین الدین احمد صاحب ندوی اورجناب نورالدین صاحب بیرسٹر کے حادثۂ وفات کی خبراچانک سُنی توجی دھک سے ہوکر رہ گیا اورقلب ودماغ پرگویا بجلی گرپڑی۔ شاہ صاحب ندوۃ العلماء کے گل سرسبد، نہایت پختہ قلم مصنف، تاریخ اسلام کے وسیع النظر محقق، اردو زبان کے ادیب اورسوباتوں کی ایک بات یہ ہے کہ مولانا سید سلیمان ندوی کے صحیح جانشین اوران کے قائم مقام تھے، اوراس میں کوئی شبہ نہیں کہ تقسیم ہند کے بعد سے اب تک انہوں نے دارالمصنفین کے علمی وقار اورمرتبہ کو قائم و برقرار رکھا اور ملک کے نہایت سخت طوفانی دور میں بھی اس باغیچۂ علم وادب کی جس طرح حفاظت اوردل وجان سے اس کی آبیاری کی وہ ان کی قبائے فضل کا تکمۂ زریں ہے۔ علم وفضل اورتحقیق وتصنیف کے علاوہ اخلاق وعادات اورکردار وعمل کے اعتبار سے بھی وہ سلف صالحین کانمونہ تھے نہایت مخلص،بے لوث، عابد و زاہد، خندہ جبیں،شگفتہ طبع،ملنسار اورمتواضع اورمرنجان ومرنج۔
موخرٔ الذکر ہندوستان کے نامی گرامی بیرسٹر تھے سپریم کورٹ کے ممتاز قانون دانوں میں ان کاشمار ہوتاتھا۔ قومی اورملی کاموں میں پیش پیش رہتے تھے۔ طبیعت قلندرانہ پائی تھی۔ایک برس دلی کے مئیر ( MAYOR)اوراس حیثیت سے بہت کامیاب رہے تھے، دوسرے برس انہوں نے میئر ہونے سے انکار کردیا۔مسلم یونیورسٹی علی گڑھ کی وائس چانسلر شپ کئی مرتبہ پیش کی گئی لیکن انہوں نے قبول نہیں کی، وہ اگر چاہتے تومرکزی کابینہ میں شمولیت اورکسی ملک کی سفارت کاحصول اُن کے لیے معمولی بات تھی، لیکن کبھی ان چیزوں کی طرف انہوں نے آنکھ اٹھا کر نہیں دیکھا۔ بیرسٹر بہت اونچے درجے کے تھے، وہ بہت آسانی سے کروڑ پتی بن سکتے تھے، لیکن عمر بھر کرایہ کے مکان میں رہے، اور یوں بھی بہت سادہ...
Gender roles not only keep men and women in different spheres of family and social life but they also promote gender segregation in the education sector and professional life. There is a lot of research being conducted on women working in male dominated professions but there is scarcity of research regarding males working in female dominated professions. This study was conducted to explore the experiences of men working in female dominated professions. The first phase of this study collected quantitative data about the type female-dominated professions in Pakistan. Based on this data in-depth qualitative interviews were done with 5 professionals using snowball sampling: Nurse, Psychologist, Montessori teacher, Makeup artist/ Beautician, and Bus host. Thematic analysis was used to identify sub-themes presented in this study: (i) Reasons or motivation for joining nontraditional profession; (ii) Reaction of near and dear ones; (iii) Positive aspects of female dominated profession; (iv) Challenges of female dominated profession; (v) Professional journey; (vi) Being a minority in female majority; (vii) Struggle to maintain masculinity and (viii) Future aspirations. Study findings can be used to support male entry and retention in female dominated professions.
This thesis is a research manifestation on a great and unique manuscript of Arabic rhetoric entitled: written by AL.SHEIKH JAN MUHAMMAD who was an eminent scholar of the Muslim world in twentieth Century. He was one of the very literature persons and Fiq e Islami was his best topic and Fiq e Hanfi was his specialization. This manuscript “ ” is based on his deep knowledge about the fiqe-Islami so he wrote that manuscript and elaborated it with all references. I started the research work on this manuscript at the time when I was admitted in Punjab University as a Ph.D scholar in Arabic Department in ٢٠٠٩ and completed this research work in ٢٠١٦. Keeping in view the above, under the kind but vigilant guidance of advisor from Arabic Department Prof. Dr. Syed Muhammad Qamer Ali,vice chairman Arabic Department; really a man of parts and prestige, I got a golden opportunity to further navigate and explore the gems of knowledge. The research work is done schematically. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is about the life and literary services of ASHEIKH JAN MUHAMMAD. This chapter is then sub divided into two sub sections; one is devoted to the life of ALSHEIKH JAN MUHAMMAD and the second portion is an introduction to the manuscript and its significance and talks about the eloquent qualities of the manuscript itself.The second chapter is about the definition of fiq-e-Islami, its importance, and its separation in different time from first Hijri to till day. The third chapter of thesis is devoted to the edition, research and contents alongwith the bibliography of the manuscript under my research. Hence the Arabs have rendered unique and unlimited services in the fields of Fiq-e-Islami but I found that our Muslim scholars of the Persia and Hind-o-Pak are also much ahead in such services, even acknowledged by the Arab world but unfortunately, the preservation is neglected. Now, the universities are playing a vital role to promote and preserve such writings for the benefit of the whole humanity. In this regard I also selected a manuscript which is a greatest and splendid work of AL.SHEIKH JAN MUHAMMAD which belongs to thirteenth Hijry. So that the educated people of Pakistan and other countries could take benefit from this manuscript. Because no work has done on this manuscript before it. I am much hopeful that this dissertation will definitely appease the hunger and thirst of the real knowledge searchers of the Fiq E Islami but would also help a common man to aspirate knowledge and understand a know-how of the Islamic Shria . Moreover, my thesis effort would also attract the others to further promote and outpoint the significance of such topic the other relevant divines literary qualities of the Fiq E Islami and Specially Fiq E Hanfi .
