ارشارِ ربانی ہے:
"أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ"۔[[1]]
"کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم بڑا دعوی کرتے تھے؟"۔
یعنی وہ بت یا اشخاص ہیں، جن کو تم دنیا میں میری الوہیت میں شریک گردانتے تھے، انھیں مدد کے لئے پکارتے تھے اور ان کے نام کی نذر نیاز دیتے تھے، آج کہاں ہیں؟ کیا وہ تمہاری مدد کر سکتے ہیں اور تمہیں میرے عذاب سے چھڑا سکتے ہیں؟ یہ تقریع وتوبیخ کے طور پر اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے کہے گا، ورنہ وہاں اللہ کے سامنے کس کی مجال ہوگی؟
Mehmood Taimur، A famous and well known literary figure of Egypt، when started his writing career، besides many literary works، he has penned down many essays too. He has written on different topics including the religious one. His religious writings come in the category of religious essays as their topics are purely religious. His religious essays encompass the following aspects: Love of Religion: He was bred and brought up in a religious family and learnt religious principles. So his essays are imbued in religious spirit. He regards love of religion not a mere part but the very essence of creed. He firmly believes that love of religion and country are the indispensable part of one’s belief. Love of God: His heart was saturated with the love of God. The sighs he heaved from his heart in his religious essays are the clear proof of his love of God. Love of Prophet (PBUH): He believes that you can never have love of God in your heart without the love of His Holy Prophet. Such kind of love is incomplete. He thinks that personality of the Holy Prophet(PBUH) is the living practical example of Holy Quran. Love of Quran: Mehmood Taimur has made clear that the Quran is the miracle of Holy Prophet(PBUH). Quran had influenced his heart deeply. He always meditated on Quran and the recitation of Quran after morning prayer was his daily routine. In short having been raised in religious atmosphere، his heart was free of all vices. On seeing such character traits، every reader may infers the conclusion that his s essays are truly religious in their spirit.
SAARC countries are, in general, under developing economies having less remarkable growth rate. This study focuses on to find out the impact of financial and fiscal variables on economic development of 5 SAARC countries, namely; Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Remaining 3 countries of the region are omitted due to the absence of stock markets in these countries, stock markets being an important part of the study. Data on Financial and macroeconomic measures have been collected for the period of 20 years from 1994 to 2013. Financial measures include Money and quasi money (M2), Trend in Foreign Exchange reserves (TFER), Private Sector Credit by financial institutions (PSC) and Value of Stock Traded (VST) and macroeconomic measures include Trade balance (TB), Consumer price Inflation rate (IR), Exchange rate (ER), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Gross fixed capital formation (GFC) as independent variables and Growth in Per Capita Income (GPCI) as dependent variable. Pooled OLS regression is used for panel analysis and as data had heteroskadasticity issue so VCE (robust) is used for minimizing the impact of standard errors. The results of the study support the positive impact of financial and macroeconomic measures on economic development of SAARC countries.
