المبحث الثالث: ثقافتها
تقول نازك الملائکۃ: بأنھا اتجھت اتجاھًا شدیداً مبالغاً إلی دراسۃ الأدب القدیم، وخاصۃ النحو، وأنھا قرأت من کتب النحو ’’شذور الذھب لابن ھشام‘‘[1]، وأیضاً ’’حاشیۃ الشیخ عبادۃ علی شذور الذھب‘‘ وقرأت نازك في حقل الأدب واللغۃ ’’عمدۃ ابن رشیق‘‘[2] والمثل السائر وأدب الکاتب و ’’خزانۃ الأدب للبغدادي‘‘ وقرأت أیضاً، ’’البیان والتبیین‘‘[3] في ثمانیۃ أیام ولم یکن ھذا ھیناً علیھا، فقد کانت أیام محنۃ انتھت بمرض عینیھا حتی اضطرت إلی ترك المطالعۃ وقرأت أیضاً ’’رسالۃ الغفران‘‘[4]۔
وتحکي نازك عن نفسھا في حیاتھا المدرسیۃ عندما کانت تلمیذۃ في ’’فرع البنات‘‘ وفي تلك الفترۃ ھذا الفرع کان بین العلمي والأدبي فنازک کانت تکرہ الریاضیات والفیزیاء وعلم النبات، وکانت تتمنی أن تتخرج من الثانویۃ وتلتحق بالفرع الأدبي في دار المعلمین العالیۃ، وفي ھذہ الفترۃ کانت تحب دروس اللغۃ العربیۃ، فقد جاء ت في السنۃ الأخیرۃ من الثانویۃ مَدرِّسۃ راعت مواھبھا ومدحت ثقافتھا الواسعۃ، وکانت کثیرۃ النقاش مع والدھا وحفظت الکثیر من الشواھد والأھم من ذلك أنھا کانت توفق بین دراستھا الخارجیۃ والمدرسیۃ۔

The study assessed the relationship between the factors affecting the academic achievement of the dean’s listers’ of Caraga State University. It involves the total population of the dean’s listers in the said university. The independent variables are those pre-determined factors’ affecting the academic achievement of the dean’s listers’ of Caraga State University and the dependent variable is the grades of the dean’s listers’. The result shows the low relationship between the pre-determined factors and the academic achievement evidenced by the values of the p-values which are greater than. In terms of the academic achievement of the dean’s listers’ their grades signifies their excellence in their different chosen fields. With regards to the pre-determined factors, the factor that got the highest mean is the teachers’ competence with 3.7639 and the lowest one is the learning environment with 3.6690. The study habits’ got the second spot among the 4 factors followed by the learning styles. Based on Spearmen Correlation analysis in the data gathered, the results revealed that there is no significant relationship between the pre-determined factors and the academic achievement of the dean’s listers’ of Caraga State University. The p-values obtained are less than 0.05 for all the data set; that is accepting the null hypothesis. The results clearly depicts that the students’ study habit, learning style teachers’ competence and the learning environment has no influence to the achievement reached by the dean’s listers’. On the other hand, it is still very important to make and to maintain these factors visible in the academic arena for a better learning and for a better outcome. The absence of these factors might affect the performances of the students’ in Caraga State University.
This study investigated research, teaching and learning of entrepreneurship of business school graduates in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Further, the study intended to investigate the entrepreneurial skills of business school graduates and inherited entrepreneurs. The targets of this study were; to investigate the role of research practices, faculty satisfaction from business schools’ curriculum and instructional practices in business education; to find out the entrepreneurial skills of business schools’ graduates and inherited entrepreneurs and to measure the relationship of research practices, instructional approaches and entrepreneurial skills of business education. Teaching faculty, business school graduates and inherited entrepreneurs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa constituted the population of the study. A total 117 faculty members, nine business schools graduates and eight inherited entrepreneurs were included in the sample group. Data were collected from the sample group through three research instruments (questionnaire and two interview protocols). Based on the collected data the major finding of the study were that the respondents were agreed that research practices enhance the entrepreneurial skills of business school students, the faculty members were not satisfied from business schools’ curriculum, the faculty of business education mostly follow traditional instructional approaches, a significant relationship of business schools’ education was found with research practices and with entrepreneurial skills. Similarly, the skills of entrepreneurs who inherited entrepreneurship from their family are networking in market, opportunities identification and resilience which they learned from their successors. Based on the findings of the study recommendations were made for all the stakeholders.
