براعظم افریقہ کی پہلی مسجد بھی قاہرہ میں تعمیر کی گئی تھی ۔یہ مسجد فاتح مصر حضرت عمرو بن العاص ؓ کے نام سے موسوم ہے ۔رومیوں کو شکست دے کر اس عظیم جرنیل نے حضرت محمد ﷺ کی وہ پیشین گوئی سچ ثابت کی جو آپؐ نے جنگ خندق میں کھدائی کے دوران اس بڑے پتھر کو توڑتے وقت دی تھی جس کا توڑنا صحابہ سے ممکن نہ تھا ۔خلیفہ وقت حضرت عمر ؓ نے حضرت عمر و بن العاص کو یہاں کا گورنر مقرر کیا ۔تقریباََ گیارہ ایکڑ کے احاطے پر مشتمل یہ مسجد افریقہ کی بڑی اور وسیع ترین مساجد میں شمار ہوتی ہے ۔ابتدا میں یہ ایک چھوٹی سے مسجد تھی جو اسلا م کی پہلی مسجد، مسجد قبا کی طرح کھجور کے درختوں پر تعمیر ہوئی تھی ۔ مگر اب یہ ایک عالی شان مسجد ہے جس کو دیکھنے دنیا بھر کے سیاح آتے ہیں ۔
Two of the most significant KPIs, liquidity and profitability, are used to gauge a company's success. In order to examine the financial health and profitability of selected Indian oil and gas businesses, this study was performed. From 2016-17 through 2020-21, the top five listed firms by market capitalization are Reliance Industries Ltd, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), and Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL). Four ratios have been used to evaluate the financial and profitability positions of chosen organizations, including the current ratio, the quick ratio, the net profit ratio, and the return on invested capital. An ANOVA with a 5% threshold of significance was employed to test the hypotheses. The study's main conclusion is that Reliance industries Ltd's liquidity and profitability performance is superior to those of other chosen oil and gas firms.
In the government school system in Pakistan, much emphasis is given to the teaching of English language through grammar translation and explicit rules. Generally, it is considered to be the only way to teach English language by teachers. However, so far the teaching of English language through grammar translation and explanation of explicit rules has been ineffective. Teachers do not seem to be as concerned about enabling the students to communicate in the language as they are about them passing the exams. In addition, most of the teachers have studied in this system and that is why English language has been taught traditionally for years. This study set out to explore the ways of enriching the teaching of grammar in that particular context. A school from that context was selected for the study in which my role was that of a teacher. Techniques were used from the research conducted abroad and adapted to suit the needs of the school. Some materials were also adapted from the prescribed textbook to accommodate the techniques used in the study for enriching the teaching of grammar. However, the Grammatical Structures were selected from the prescribed textbook in consultation with the class teacher. The data from this study illustrate the ways of enriching the teaching of English grammar in that particular school context. The study shows effective use of the techniques with the possible reasons. Apart from that, this study shows the challenges faced and some ways to overcome them. On the whole, the study suggests the ways of enriching the teaching of grammar in that context. The major reasons appeared to be that the suggested ways for enriching the teaching of grammar provide an environment whereby the students not only acquire the language, but also learn the rules of grammar.
