وکالت کو بطور پیشہ اختیار کرنا ذیا دہ پسندیدہ کام تصور نہیں کیا جاتا، لیکن یہ بھی حقیقت ہے کہ موجودہ دور میں عوام الناس اپنے معاملات کو قانون سے عدم واقفیت کی وجہ سے عدالت میں خود پیش نہیں کر سکتے ،
کیو نکہ موجودہ دور میں دعوٰی دائر کرنے کے لیے ایک خاص طریقہ مروج ہے اور عامۃ الناس اس طریقے سے ناواقف ہیں ۔ علاوہ ازیں عدالت میں پیشے کےلیے وکیل کا کسی مسلمہ یونیورسٹی سے قانون کی ڈگری کا حامل ہونا بھی ضروری ہے۔ وکالت کو بطور پیشہ معاشرے نے قبول کرلیا ہے۔ اب اس کو ختم کرنا ممکن بھی نہیں۔ وکلا ء کو کیس لینے سے پہلے اندازہ ہو جاتاہے کہ وہ جس کا کیس لڑنے جارہے ہیں وہ حق پر ہے یا نہیں ۔ وکلاء کو محض پیسے کے لالچ میں جرائم پیشہ اور قاتلوں کے کیس نہیں لینے چا ہییں تاکہ معاشرے سے جرائم پیشہ افراد کی بیخ کنی خود بخود ہو جائے اور مجرموں کے ذہن میں آ جائے کہ ان کا کیس بھی کسی نے نہیں لڑنا۔ لہٰذا ضروری ہے کہ اس پیشہ کی اصلاح پر خاص توجہ دی جائے ۔ قانون کا پیشہ اختیار کرنے کا ارادہ رکھنے والے طلبہ کےلیے مخصوص مضامین میں نمایاں کامیابی ضروری قرار دی جائے ۔ وکالت سے شعبہ سے وابستہ افراد کے لیے حکومت کی طرف سے اعزازیہ کا بھی اہتمام ہو، تاکہ وہ کسی کے مرہون منت نہ رہیں اور ہر جائز و نا جائزکیس کی وکالت نہ کریں۔ مزید یہ کہ ایل ایل بی کے نصاب میں" ادب

Hazrat Abdul Rehman (may Allah be pleased with him) belonged to Arab tribe of Quraish and was a close relative of Mohammad (peace be upon him). At the time of conquest of Makkah He (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the circle of Islam. He (may Allah be pleased with him) is counted among the companions of Muhammad (may Allah be pleased with him) who came to sub-continent specially Balochistan in order to preach for Islam and Jihad during the Khilafat of orthodox caliphs. He (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Balochistan twice for Jihad and conquests first during the Khilafat of Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) and second time in the early era of Hazrat Muawia (may Allah be pleased with him). He (may Allah be pleased with him) played a vital role in the wars of Balochistan. He (may Allah be pleased with him) established Zehri his abode and capital after conquering Kalat, Khuazdar (Sajistan), Kachi, Gandhava, and Chaghi, and from here he expanded the series of his conquests till Kabul and Qandar. Besides this, he included many areas of sub-continent in the Islamic empire of conquered areas. His (may Allah be pleased with him) life is consists of great chapters of sincerity in deeds. Wisdom and valor, determination fearlessness, strife, hospitality, simplicity and patience. He (may Allah be pleased with him) is counted among the great generals of Islam had the honour to have carried the message of Holy faith in every corner of Balochistan in tough and unfavorable conditions and planted the flag of Islam in Balochistan forever.  

Academic Achievement and Social Skills: A Comparative Study of Students With and Without Education Vouchers

Main purpose of the study was to search out the effect of Education Voucher Scheme (EVS) on academics and social skills of the students of class 8th. The study is an ex-post facto and co- relational in nature. Survey method was adopted to conduct the research. The accessible population of the study consisted of 8th grade students in two districts i.e. Lahore and Kasur. From these two districts, 17 schools were selected through random sampling. Data were collected from all available EVS students in these schools and research sample comprised of 504 students. The division of EVS and non-EVS students was 252 and 252. For academic achievement, 8th class result announced by Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) in 2012 was considered. Social skills like cooperation, assertion, flexibility, interpersonal skills, and self control were measured through a self developed rating scale named as Rabbani Social Skills Rating Scale (RSSRS). The instrument was close ended consisted of 35 Likert type statements on four point scale as (1 = never, 2 = occasionally, 3 = often and 4 = very often). The instrument was administered in class room situation. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the study showed that non EVS students were academically better as compared to their EVS counterparts. However EVS students showed continuous improvement in the academic as well as in social skills as they progress from class 6th to class 8th. The study showed that there is strong positive relationship between academic achievement and social skills both for EVS and non-EVS students. It was recommended that Government should increase the budget allocation to promote EVS programs and Punjab Education Foundation should make further efforts to improve the quality of instruction in EVS program in order to better address the educational and social needs of EVS students. The government should make certain arrangement to improve the parent education level.
