طاہر شادانی(۱۹۱۶ء۔۱۹۷۰ء)کا اصل نام محمد صدیق ہے۔ شادانی پسرورپیدا ہوئے ۔آپ نے یونیورسٹی اورنٹیل کالج لاہور میں شادان بلگرامی اور حافظ محموود شیرانی سے کسبِ فیض حاصل کیا۔ ان کی ساری زندگی تعلیم وتعلم میں گزری۔ تعلیم سے فراغت کے بعد محکمہ تعلیم سے وابستہ ہو گئے۔ ۱۹۸۲ء میں سرکاری ملازمت سے سبکدوش ہوگئے۔ آپ نے ضیا محمد ضیا اور حفیظ صدیقی کی رفاقت میں پسرور میں حلقہ ارباب ذوق کے نام سے ادبی حلقہ قائم کیا۔ (۶۸۲)

طاہر شادانی نے اردو ادب میں شاعری کے ساتھ ساتھ تدوین اور ترجمے میں بھی گراں قدر خدمات سر انجام دی ہیں۔ آپ کا کلام ’’فنون‘‘ ،’’شام و سحر‘‘ ،’’اقرار‘‘ ،’’الہلال‘‘،تحریریں ،’’سیارہ‘‘،اور ’’شاخسار‘‘ کے علاوہ دیگر ملکی سطح کے رسائل و جرائد میں چھپتا رہا۔ آپ پنجاب ٹیکسٹ بورڈ لاہور سے بھی وابستہ رہے۔ اور چھٹی سے دسویں تک اردو کی درسی کتابیں مرتب کیں۔ اردو قواعد و انشا کے حوالے سے بھی شادانی نے علمی کتابیں تالیف کیں۔ آپ کا صرف ایک شعری مجموعہ’’شعلہ نمناک‘‘ ایوانِ ادب لاہور سے ۲۰۰۰ء میں ان کی زندگی میں شائع ہوا۔ ان کا بہت سا شعری کلام مختلف رسائل و جرائد میں بکھرا پڑا ہے۔

طاہر شادانی نے اپنے شعری مجموعے ’’شعلہ نمناک‘‘ کا آغاز حمدوں سے کیا ہے۔ لیکن شادانیؔ کی یہ حمدیں صرف روایت کاتتبع نہیں ہیں۔ حمد و نعت کی طرف ان کا ذہنی میلان ابتدا سے تھا۔ شادانی کی شاعری پر اقبال کے اثرات واضح طورپر محسوس کیے جا سکتے ہیں ۔ان کی حمدوں میں دعا کا وہی انداز ہے ۔جوا قبال کے ہاں ہے اقبال نے اپنی نظم دعا میں اﷲ سے نیک انسان بننے کی دعا مانگی ہے۔

Potential Analysis of Rural and Urban Land and Building Taxes in Minahasa Regency

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution of  Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) to Minahasa Regency Regional Revenue, the determinant factor of PBB-P2 revenue which has the most tax objects/subjects but has not contributed to Minahasa Regency Locally-generated revenue (PAD) and Strategies in seeking PBB-P2 in Minahasa Regency to provide real contribution to local revenue. This research method includes a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach to the BPPRETDA case study method. SWOT-Quadrant Analysis. The results of quadrant 1 position score 0.29 external opportunities & 0.12 internal strengths. Progressive action, the SO matrix is recommended by BPPRETDA to increase (NJOP & tax rate 0.3%), increase (officer education, facilities & tax revenue sharing), and collect PBB-P2 data. Potential Determination of Rp.134,128,478,400, - (11% Regional Revenue). It is necessary to determine the (Selling Value of Tax Object (NJOP) of land and buildings to be increased to near market prices with office work and field inspections and to support education, training for officers is needed to continue to be carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance or independently by the Regional Government.

To Analyze Teachers Competencies and Teaching Practices of Physics Teachers at Higher Secondary Level in Sindh

Knowledge of science produce a great impact on our life style, way of thinking, and our behavior etc. a great change occurs in our outlook because of the influences, of scientific knowledge. Science has revolutionized the civilization. Science teaching is a most difficult task and everybody is not fit to be teacher, some person may have a flair for teaching and such person have the ability to awaken interest and catch the attention of the students. Hence teaching of science is an art of assisting another person to learn. The aims of teaching of science at the college level is to develop scientific attitude ,enhance the scientific and technological competence, encourage creativity and solve the problems confronted by the students in their day to day life both within and outside the college premises. Therefore the science teacher needs to know about the variety of learning approaches and use technology while teaching. The overall purpose of the study was to analyze teachers ‘competencies and teaching practices of Physics subject teachers at higher secondary level in Sindh. The study specifically analyzed the knowledge, skills, and behaviors of the Physics teachers with relation to subject command and implementation. The scope of study was limited to the college principals, teachers, students, and curriculum experts in the province of Sindh. Eight hypotheses were formulated and mixed research technique was adopted. All the principals’ Physics teachers and science students, were part of population .The population is large and heterogeneous therefore the stratified random sampling design was used. The questionnaires, interview protocols and observation checklist were the major instrument. Data was collected through the personal visits and analyzed by using inferential statistical technique along with the content analysis of the data. Concrete recommendations were made on the basis of findings.
