افسوس ہے کہ گذشتہ مہینے حضرت مولانا محمد یعقوب صاحب مجدوی بھوپالی نے انتقال فرمایا، موصوف کو حضرت مجدد الف ثانی ؒ سے نسبی اور خاندانی تعلق بھی تھا، وہ اس دور کے عارف کامل اور نامور شیخ تھے، ان کی خانقاہ ارشاد و ہدایت کا مرکز تھی اور اس سے بڑا فیض پہنچا، راقم کو بھی ان کی خدمت میں حاضری اور کئی مجلسوں میں شرکت کی سعادت حاصل ہوئی معلوم ہوتا تھا علم و عرفان کا چشمہ ابل رہا ہے اور دلوں کی کھیتیاں سیراب ہورہی ہیں، میری حاضری کے وقت حضرت کی عمر اسّی (۸۰) سال کے قریب رہی ہوگی، خلقتہً بھی نحیف تھے، لیکن روحانی قوت کا یہ حال تھا کہ گھنٹوں پورے جوش کے ساتھ تقریر و ملفوظات کا سلسلہ جاری رہتا تھا اور یہ روزانہ کامعمول تھا، آپ کے ملفوظات و مواعظ علم و عرفان کا گنجینہ ہیں، جہاں تک معلوم ہے ان کو قلم بند کرنے کا اہتمام نہیں کیا گیا، مولانا علی میاں نے کچھ مجلسوں کے ملفوظات قلم بند کئے تھے، جو الفرقان میں شائع ہوچکے ہیں، اگر تمام ملفوظات و مواعظ قلم بند ہوکر شائع ہوگئے ہوتے تو علم و عرفان کا یہ گنجینہ ہمیشہ کے لیے محفوظ ہو جاتا، ان کی وفات سے ارشاد و ہدایت کی ایک نورانی شمع گل ہوگئی، اﷲ تعالیٰ ان کے مدارج بلند فرمائے۔ (شاہ معین الدین ندوی، جون ۱۹۷۰ء)
The teachings of all religions are based on peace but the Islamic principles of peace surpass others in their effectiveness. For the attainment of peace and harmony in this world, it is imperative to respect all the religions. The Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) was indeed a peacemaker and a mercy to all the mankind. The author of this paper feels that it is also very important to study the history of Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) prior to his prophethood, because, those a as image and reputation (صلى الله عليه وسلم) his shaped that years the were peacemaker in the eyes of the people of Makkah. His early years of virtue soon followed by a lifetime of nobleness and greatness. The incident of the placing the Black Stone, for example, is a confirmation to the said fact. It is one of the first examples in the life. A commitment to peace was a way of his life. This is the quality that ought to become the cornerstone of the policy and the personality of a sound Muslim leader.
This research aims to investigate the dispersion among gross pay of public servants and examine the causes, rationale and effects of such disparity. In this regards, the purpose of this study was two-fold. First, to find out dispersion in gross pay of the employees serving in the same Basic Pay Scales (BPS) in the federal government of Pakistan and the causes of such disparity. Second, to investigate the impact of perceived pay satisfaction on employees’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). To focus and operationalize the purposes of this study, in first phase actual pay slips were collected to find gross pay dispersion. Narrative data was collected from 40 participants through semi-structured interviews by employing key respondents approach to find the causes of such dispersion. The data analysis reveal substantial dispersion in gross pay received by equally placed (in the same BPS) employees of the federal government of Pakistan. In the second phase, a conceptual model was developed linking pay satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior with motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment as mediating variables. The model was tested using data collected from 619 respondents of eight public sector organizations through questionnaire survey. The results reveal that pay satisfaction has positive significant impact on OCB. Furthermore, motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment mediated the relationship between pay satisfaction and OCB. The results indicate that pay disparity contributes towards dissatisfaction of the federal government employees and vice versa; while pay satisfaction significantly affects OCB, motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study suggests that a harmonized pay structure improves OCB, motivation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment and enhances organizational performances.
