The current research work focus on disease resistance and susceptibility studies in livestock animals have been on determining patterns of key proteins in the innate immune response, such as toll-like receptor 2 (TLR-2) gene primary role in the recognition of pathogen associated molecular pattern (PAMP) from bacterial ligands. To date, ten members of TLRs family have been identified in cattle. The objective of the present study was to detect polymorphisms in the genomic sequences of TLR-2 gene in two important cattle breeds Bhagnari and locally adapted exotic Freisian. Phylogenetic analysis was carried out based on complete coding sequences of TLR-2 gene to describe the relationship between the breeds. Mutations in coding sequences of TLR2 gene in Dhani and Jersey were studied. The complete coding sequence of TLR2 gene consists of 2355 base pair [bp] was determined. The amino acid [aa] sequence of the coding region corresponds to a protein of 784 amino acids long with predicted molecular weight 104 kDa and 6.97 pI value. The amino acid sequence analysis showed extracellular domain composed of leucine rich repeats (LRR), trans- membrane domain and Toll-IL receptor domain in the protein. Nucleotide sequences of TLR2 gene in Dhani cattle breed revealed a total of 35 polymorphisms. In the analysis 66% polymorphisms were synonymous caused no changes in protein and 34% were non-synonyms. Overall 20 polymorphisms were observed in Extracellular domain, five variants in trans-membrane, three polymorphisms in unknown region and seven mutations in TLR domain were detected. In Jersey cattle breed, a total of 21 polymorphisms were detected, in which 52% were synonymous and 48% were non-synonymous. Protein analysis showed that 15 mutations were observed in region specifying the Extracellular domain, three in Trans-membrane domain and three polymorphisms in TLR domain. The finding of this research revealed that detected polymorphisms may be associated with PAMPs mediated di?erential TLR signaling of bovine immunity and could determine the outcome of infection.

Analysis of Quarantine Service Quality on Ship Crew Satisfaction during the Covid-19 Pandemic at Belawan Sea Port

This study aims to analyze the quality of quarantine services on ship crew satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Belawan Sea port. This study is a quantitative study with a cross sectional method which aims to analyze the quality of quarantine services on satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Belawan Sea Port using the ServQual approach which consists of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of the study are expected to provide input regarding the quality of quarantine services provided by the Class I Medan KKP to ship crews during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the ServQual analysis, the results show that the satisfaction of the crew of the quarantine service at Belawan Port is very satisfying with a suitability level of 107.56% (the average service / reality score is 4.00 and the expectation score is 3.72). It is suggested to improve coordination and more intensive advocacy with shipping agents as intermediaries between officers and skippers as crew so as to reduce the length of service waiting time, in order to increase the number of human resources carrying out document checks on board, involving female medical officers for health checks The crew who came from affected countries/ports to facilitate information retrieval, ordered the boarding officers to bring Personal Protective Equipment when interacting with the crew.

The Relationship of Clothing With Self -Image and Personal Identity of Different Clothing Style Personalities

This study is conducted for the purpose of finding out relationship of clothing with self-image and personal identity among different clothing style personalities. Clothing is a reflection of our personality. There was great clothing variation among different clothing personalities. A sample of 150 non working, and 150 working women from Govt., semi Govt., and private colleges, schools, offices, and hospitals were selected for the study. The respondents were selected on the basis of their availability through convenient sampling technique. In the first phase scrutiny of participants was based upon the clothing checklist based on six different choices regarding their dresses and accessories. In the second phase, the respondents were investigated for finding the relationship of their clothing choices with their self-image and personal identity. Rosenberg self-esteem scale RSES and self constructed questionnaires were used. Classic, Dramatic, and Natural Style Personalities scored higher on both the scales than Romantic, Ingénue, and Gamin Style Personalities. To test the hypothesis, t-test was used that showed significance between Classic Style, Dramatic Style, and Natural Style Personalities (Group-I) and Romantic Style, Ingénue Style and Gamin Style Personalities (Group-II). It was found by this study that our clothing choices are directly related to personality traits and self-image. The changing impact of age and socioeconomic status on clothing among different Clothing Style Personalities was worthy of consideration in the study. This study also examined how clothing choices were influenced by trends. Trends and clothing questionnaire (self devised) was used for this purpose which was further analyzed by t-test. Findings revealed that majority of the respondents of Classic, Dramatic, and Natural Style Personalities who scored low were not trendy they xi selected their clothing according to their own choices and in accordance with their age but respondents of Romantic, Ingenue, and Gamin Style Personalities who scored high on TCQ showed their preference to trendy clothes while selecting their clothes and accessories. This study also explored the impact of real-self and public-self on the selection of clothing among different Clothing Style Personalities. To test the hypothesis, t-test was used that showed significance between Classic Style, Dramatic Style, and Natural Style Personalities (Group-I) and Romantic Style, Ingénue Style and Gamin Style Personalities (Group-II). It was found by this study that selection of clothing and accessories are reflection of one’s inner self that may be real-self or public-self. The study will help people to get information about clothing concept and how clothing choices will be related to personality impressions. This study may provide useful information for future studies. The outcome of this research may provide relevant information about Pakistani fashion consumer segments to the marketers and retailers.
