Human resource has become the most valuable possessions of any organization for their long-term survival and for becoming competitive. Now organizations main focus is on the development, retention, and management of human resource in such a way that will have more productive and profitable impacts on organization performance. In 21st century concepts like organizational performance and its relation with human resource management has become the most demanding research topics. To this end, the present study highlighted the important contribution of the psychological resources of employees in organizational performance. The main purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effect of psychological capital in the relationship between intellectual capital and organization performance with reference to the software industry with Pakistan?s context. Survey type of research was applied for data collection through a questionnaire. A convenience sample of 320 software developers from software companies registered with P@SHA participated in this research and data was analyzed by applying descriptive and inferential statistics.This quantitative study was built on the theoretical foundation of resource-based theory and social network theory and also advocates the mediation model of Andrew Hayes for reporting the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance Consistent with previous literature correlation results indicated that there is a significant relationship between the three constructs. Moreover,the regression analysis results confirmed that psychological capital mediates the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance. It is concluded from results insertion of psychological not only increase organizational performance, but it also boosts the intellectual capital of employees. So, it is empirically confirmed that the development of psychological resources of employees has multiple positive impacts on employees and organizational performance. اک دفعہ دا ذکر اے کہ کسے پنڈ وچ اک خرگوش تے اک گدڑ رہندے سن۔ دونویں آپس وچ گہرے دوست سن تے اک دوجے اتے اعتبار کر دے سن۔ گدڑ بہت چالاک تے دھوکہ باز سی۔ اوہ اپنا کم کڈھ کے دوڑ جاندا سی۔ خرگوش بھلا مانس سی، اوہ گدڑ دی چالاکی دے باوجود اوس نال پیار کردا تے کوشش کردا کہ ہر چیز ونڈ کے کھاہدی جاوے۔

Islamic rules and moral values are unique in all aspects. The members of Muslim Ummah have always tried to promote them. At the national level, this duty was carried out by people at different levels whether they were teachers, businessmen or lay man of the society. At international level, some rulers, business professionals and religious leaders played their role. Man's first relationship is with family. This relationship is the cornerstone in the development of a personality.  There has been a lot of change taken place in the family system. In the past, due to the limited necessities of life the financial responsibility was limited to a few people. Media was not that advanced and bold and family members were loving and respectful. With the beginning of advance era, human needs were widened and to satisfy them, women started participating in economic activities along with men. Due to which the child was shifted from his home to day care centre, while the media gave birth to the social media, the stories of compassion and care in home became the past. In the present era, there is a dire need to remove these barriers that hinder the development of Islamic values through balance between income and expenditure, positive and moderate use of media and positive attitude in family. These issues will be discussed under the answers to the following questions. What is the role of family in the development of Islamic ethics? What are the problems faced by the family in the development of Islamic moral values? What are the solutions to the present-day problems?  

The Relationship of Organizational Learning and Competitive Advantage: A Case Study of Petroleum Companies of Pakistan

Dissertation Title: The Relationship of Organizational Learning and Competitive Advantage: A Case Study of Petroleum Companies of Pakistan The concept of organizational learning has been the area of attention for academicians, practitioners, and researchers for decades. Organizational developments as a subject realized the significance of cognitive learning and behavioral development; and embraced the idea of ‘learning organization’ because of its potential to create and sustain competitive advantage in an organization. The purpose of the study is to explore the characteristics of a learning organization and examine the relationship of organizational learning and competitive advantage. Knowledge acquired is disseminated through learning in organization. It is noted that the petroleum companies are knowledge intensive and learning oriented, equipped with latest technologies and facing intense competition. In Pakistan, no empirical research work has been done to explore the concept of learning organization to date. Literature review revealed systems thinking, mental models/culture, shared vision/mission, leadership, knowledge/information flow, personal mastery and team learning as antecedents of a learning organization. Survey questionnaire was distributed in all four strata of petroleum companies and in response of 225 questionnaires 170 were received back, out of which 165 were valid. Multiple regression analytic technique was applied to test the hypotheses. Statistical analysis revealed that all chosen characteristics of a learning organization significantly contribute towards achievement of competitive advantage. Shared vision and systems thinking emerged as most significant contributors. This study signifies the impact of learning to achieve competitive advantage and requires the attention of executives and practitionersv of organization development. It demands that the concept of learning organization if implemented with strategic intent in petroleum companies of Pakistan can be a sustainable source to develop and prepare organizations to cope up and adapt the environmental changes proactively.
