A successfully incorporated performance management system in any organization can contribute appreciably towards overall performance of an organization. Therefore, there is innate need for an effectual employee Performance Management System for every organization so that organizations can achieve desired outcomes from employee performance. The paper intended to identify the issues of performance management in the particular perspective of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). It appraises the existing performance evaluation system of PIA and find out the shortfalls in current evaluation system and at the end will also recommend measures and steps towards improving the PIA Performance Management system to get the desired results from it. This research will be explanatory in nature and based on survey study of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) as it is the best way to investigate the issues in current PMS of PIA and to find out the elements for effective PMS in PIA. Primary Data will be gathered through questionnaires which will be filled by Managers and employees of PIA and secondary data will be collected through PIA as well as Government Financial Performance reports, articles and books on performance management.

آلودہ پانی کی مروجہ تحلیل و تطہیر کا سائنسی و شرعی جائزہ

Water symbolizes life on the earth. All kinds of existence depend on water. Allah has created great reservoirs of water on this earth which cater to the needs of all living beings, but human negligence is making these resources polluted. Pollution not only poses threats to human life, it also endangers marine life and resources. These threats have been increased manifold by industrial revolution and increasing human population. The same factors are also responsible for the increased use of water. Many countries have employed distillation processes to provide clean water for the increasing demands of population, agriculture and industries. Islamic jurisprudence also takes into account different types of water, some of which can be used in cleansing rituals for worship, while some cannot be used. The question arises whether the purified water by scientific process will be "Ṭahir & Muṭṭahir" and can be used for ablution and other Islamic rituals? Will Islamic Jurist accept it as "Istiḥalah"? The following study will outline the details of distilled water to see whether it can be used for daily chores and ablution rituals or not.

Variational Iteration Techniques for Solving Boundary Value Problems

This work is devoted to the study of variational iteration technique and its modifications for the solution of initial and boundary value problems. The proposed modifications are made by the elegant coupling of He’s polynomials and Adomian’s polynomials in the correction functional of variational iteration method. The proposed techniques are applied without any discretization, linearization and unrealistic assumptions. It has been observed that variational iteration method and its modified versions are very efficient and reliable for the solution of nonlinear problems of physical nature. Several examples are given which reveal the efficiency and accuracy of the suggested algorithms.
