The teachers are dynamic force of education system. Policy makers, district and school leaders, parents, all are increasingly concerned about the improvement of the quality of education. Effectiveness in learning and sound foundation of an educated society can be possible by the committed role of teachers. So, availability of effective teachers in making an efficient education system is a prerequisite. Teachers? education and training programs are being offered by different institutions in Pakistan. The purpose of these trainings is to develop teachers who are professionally competent. Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Education Development provides in-service training for public sector school teachers to enhance their professional competence. This study was conducted to evaluate the impacts of continuous professional development programs conducted by Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED) on the professional skills of secondary school teachers. The population of the study comprised of secondary classes? teachers of high schools of district Gujranwala. A sample of 200 teachers, 150 teachers for questionnaire (75 trained and 75 untrained) and 50 teachers for observation (25 trained and 25 untrained), was selected from government high schools through convenient sampling techniques. Twenty-five head teachers were also selected for questionnaire through convenience sampling techniques from government high schools. Data was collected through personal observation and questionnaire. Descriptive statistics such as means and inferential statistics such as Chi Square were used to describe the data. It was concluded that there was a significant association between the training and performance of secondary school teachers. The teachers who received in-service training through QAED were found more effective in their performance. It is suggested that in-service training must be arranged for all the teachers to prepare skilled teachers to improve students? performance. To get maximum output from in service trainings, there should be proper monitoring system by higher authorities.

47. Muhammad/The Prophet Muhammad

47. Muhammad/The Prophet Muhammad

I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah

The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.

47:01
a. Those who disbelieve and obstruct others from pursuing the Path of Allah,
b. HE will let all of their good deeds go waste,
c. so they will find no reward for these in the realm of the Hereafter.

47:02
a. While HE will erase impieties and sinful trespasses of those who:
- believe, and
- practice righteousness, and
- believe in what has been sent on to Muhammad The Prophet - The Qur’an, and
- that it is the Truth from their Rabb - The Lord, and
b. HE will absolve them of their evil deeds and also set aright their hearts and improve their
spiritual situation.

47:03
a. That is so because those who disbelieve they follow the falsehood,
b. while those who believe they follow The Truth - The Qur’an - from their Rabb - The Lord.
c. That is how Allah gives people precepts of wisdom by similitudes of themselves.

47:04
a. Whenever you encounter in the battlefield those who disbelieve, then strike their necks,
until, when you have overpowered them, then hold them firmly as prisoners of war.
b. Thereafter, you can either free them graciously or hold them to ransom against payment or in exchange of Muslim captives, until the battle lays down its burdens.
c. That is the rule!
d. Yet if Allah so willed, HE alone would have defended HIMSELF against them,
e. but HE allows fighting so that some of you may be tested by means of others in the
battlefield.
f. As for those who would...

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INSTRUMENT-ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION TECHNIQUE ON MUSCULOSKELETAL SOFT TISSUE INJURIES: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS

Objective: This systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted to determine the impact of IASTM on musculoskeletal soft tissue injuries.  Materials and Methods: In order to find terms like "instrument," "assisted," "soft tissue dysfunction AND wrist, back, elbow, knee, ankle and foot", "interventions AND IASTM," studies from conception to December 2021 were systematically analyzed across seven electronic databases: Medline, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, Scopus, PEDro, and Web of Science. The inclusion criteria for the systematic review were thus met by (n=14) randomized controlled studies. Results: IASTM treatments are associated with both short and long-term pain reduction and improved functioning. IASTM was discovered to have a short-term favorable effect on the functioning of patients with soft tissue injuries.  Conclusion: It was established that IASTM had a short-term positive impact on the functionality of individuals with soft tissue injuries in different body regions. Future researches should focus on acquiring information about long-term effects using credible evidence.

Calendering of Newtonian and Non- Newtonian Fluids

In this thesis, a theoretical analysis has been presented for the calendering process of incompressible Newtonian and non-Newtonian materials when they pass through the small gap between two counter rotating rolls. The calendering phenomena of a material flow between two co-rotating rolls to produce sheets of specific thickness and final appearance is an important process in many industries, such as the plastics, paper, rubber and steel industries for the production of rolled sheets of specific thickness and final appearance. In particular, the calendering of molten polymers is a process for the production of continuous sheet or film by squeezing the melt between a pair of heated counter-rotating rolls. A bench-top apparatus simulates the process. In this study two types of calendering processes are considered. In the first process, a molten material is transformed into a sheet by passing through a pair of rollers, whereas in second process a uniform film of liquid is deposited on a moving sheet. These two processes are quite similar, there is a convergingdiverging character to the kinematics, and we can expect the dynamics to be similar to that described in the first process. The major difference is in the character of the separation region, where the material splits and adheres to both moving surfaces. In the first process, it is assumed that the material separates clearly from the roll, whereas, in a second process, it is assumed that the material evenly wets both the roll and the sheet. The lubrication approximation theory (LAT) is outlined together with its calculations for viscoelastic and viscoplastic materials. Measurements of the gap between the roll surfaces, velocity and pressure profiles, film thickness, roll-separating force and power input to the rolls were made for a known roll speed and external load. The control of these engineering parameters are of excessive significance during the manufacture process. The goal of this work is to develop various mathematical models to characterize the effect of various materials in the calendering process.
