Technology has travelled a long way from an analogue world to a digital age, where our interaction in the virtual world is leading us towards virtual reality. Ubiquitous learning can be considered as a pattern in erudition grounded on ubiquitous latest technologies usage through smart devices. Ubiquitous learning can also be explained as the learning setting aided by embedded computers, mobile and wireless networks in our day-to-day life. Aim is to provide interaction and content to learners anywhere, anytime and by any device. This technological revolution has not only taken forward the learning process but has also completely changed the mode of learning and knowledge sharing. At present, there exist other frameworks too, but they are centered towards different paradigms (restricted to mobile learning), and point of view pertaining to UL, hence requiring an innovation driven. As, existing frameworks are centered towards mobile learning environments hence there exists a need to add dimensions of permanency, accessibility, immediacy, interactivity, context awareness and adaptability. These have not been integrated together in existing research. The research will gage the level of awareness of UL and will analyze the contribution of various factors that are responsible for the rate of adoption of UL. The outcome of this research work will lead towards coming up with a framework which if applied in any academic setup will lead to the effective delivery of the futuristic ubiquitous educational learning environment.
