آہ! مولانا عمادی
حیدرآباد دکن کے اخبار البلاغ سے یہ معلوم کرکے سخت صدمہ ہوا کہ ہمارے قدیم دوست مولانا عبداﷲ العمادی نے حیدرآباد میں جہاں انھوں نے سکونت اختیار کرلی تھی، ۱۱؍ شوال ۱۳۶۶ھ کو داعی اجل کولبیک کہا، ان کی عمراس وقت ستر برس کے قریب ہوگی، مرحوم اردو، فارسی اور عربی کے مستند ادیب اور مورخ تھے اور تقریباً ہر علم و فن سے آشنا تھے۔
مر حوم کا وطن ضلع جونپور میں امرتھوا نام ایک موضع تھا، اورعمادالدین نام کے کسی بزرگ کے خاندان سے نسبی نسبت رکھتے تھے اور اسی تعلق سے اپنے کو عمادی لکھتے تھے، اصلی نام عبداﷲ تھا اور کبھی کبھی اخفائے نام کے لیے عبداﷲ کا فارسی ترجمہ ’’خدا بندہ‘‘ بھی لکھا ہے، جو سب سے پہلے نو مسلم تا تاری سلطان کا نام تھا، مگر شہرت عام عبداﷲ عمادی کے نام سے تھی۔
غالباً ابتدائی تعلیم کے بعد ہی یہ لکھنؤ آگئے تھے، اور مولانا عبدالعلی آسی مدراسی کے دامن تربیت میں پرورش پائی، مولانا عبدالعلی کا اصل وطن گو مدراس تھا، مگرجب سے تعلیم کے لیے لکھنؤ آئے یہیں کے ہوکے رہ گئے، یہیں فرنگی محل میں مولانا عبدالحئی صاحب فرنگی محل سے تعلیم پائی، ادب، شعر اور تاریخ گوئی میں ملکہ رکھتے تھے، اکثر کتابوں کے آخر میں جو ان کے مطبع میں چھپیں ان کی تاریخیں آپ کو مل سکتی ہیں، ان کی صحبت میں مولاناعمادی صاحب کو بھی زیادہ تر شعر و سخن اور ادب و تاریخ کا فائدہ پہنچا، مولانا عبدالعلی ایک زمانہ میں رامپور میں مدرس تھے، وہاں بھی وہ ان کے ساتھ رہے، پھر جب وہ لکھنؤ آئے، تووہ بھی ان کے ساتھ یہاں آئے اور یہیں ان کے مرغ شہرت نے پروبال پیدا کئے۔

Introduction: Doctors committed to the care of patients are trying to fulfill their duty in a difficult situation, but the consequential impacts of COVID-19 outbreak on Junior Doctors mental health are far too complex. Objective: The objective of this study was to gain insight into Junior Doctors’levels of concerns during a global pandemic of COVID-19. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional study, utilizing a 23-item validated questionnaire was conducted on two hundred and fifty doctors of various disciplines and nationalities working on training and non-training posts. Results: The response rate was (77 %) and the levels of concern score among Junior doctors during COVID-19 pandemic in the NHS was found to be (41.35±4.9). With regard to gender differences, 32.5% of males and 27.5% females had a moderate concern score of 40 to 47. In regard to safety at work (85%) agreed that they are not safe, (100%) agreed that they are at risk to contract a COVID-19 infection at work and (100%) felt that they will transmit COVID-19 to their families but (95%) agreed that were obliged to take care of patients. In addition, (97.5%) doctors were not confident with the current infection control measures and (77.5%) felt frustrated with poor infection control training offered to them. Conclusion: Therefore, measures to strengthen personal protection and adequate support to Junior Doctors should be addressed urgently by the Healthcare system. This research investigates the social and domestic problems faced by the married nurses in the fulfillment of
their professional responsibilities. Study addresses the critical issue of work family conflict in Pakistani
perspective. The Research was conducted in two hospitals of Islamabad (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences
and Poly Clinic Hospital). Different aspects of the issue were endeavored to be explored. The main domain of
this research was to see the prevalence of work-family conflict among nurses. One of the more frequent pursuits
in the research is the quest to identify which segment of shift schedule (morning, evening and night) represents
higher level of work family conflict for married nurses. Sample of the study consisted of two hundred married
nurses working in different shifts in hospitals out of which 161 responded back. The Response rate was 80%.
The Study further explored Length of shift, work schedule flexibility, family support that affects Work – family
conflicts. The results of the study reveal that presently most of the nurses working in hospitals are assigned
12-hour Shift. Work schedule flexibility and family support are negatively associated with work- family conflicts
while work schedule flexibility is positively associated with family supports. Evening and night shift nurses
were found to have greater level of work family conflict than that of morning shift nurses. Nurses with
cooperative environment at home suffer less from social and domestic problems while lengthy duration of
working shifts affects the married life of the nurses.
