دوسرا حادثۂ وفات حضرت مولانا معین الدین اجمیری کاہے جو ۱۰ محرم الحرام ۱۳۵۹ھ کواجمیرمیں پیش آیا۔مولانا کی ذات ہندوستان کے علماء میں ایک نمایاں مقام رکھتی تھی وہ علم وعمل دونوں کے پیکر تھے۔منطق وفلسفہ میں ان کومولانا ابوالبرکات ٹونکی مرحوم سے تلمذ خاص حاصل تھا، لیکن عام علماء منطق وفلسفہ کے برخلاف وہ دینیات اورعلوم قرآن وحدیث میں بھی درخور وافر رکھتے تھے۔اجمیر میں کتاب وسنت کی روشنی جو کچھ نظر آتی ہے اُنہی کے دم سے قائم تھی۔پھر طرفہ یہ ہے کہ وہ صرف ارباب درس وتدریس اوراصحاب وعظ وارشاد میں سے ہی نہ تھے بلکہ اُن کاشمار اُن ابطال عزیمت وحریت میں تھا جواعلاء کلمۃ اﷲ کی خاطر کانٹوں سے بھری ہوئی راہ کو دیکھ کر دل میں ذراخوف وہراس محسوس نہیں کرتے، اور ’’دل خوش ہواہے راہ کوپُرخار دیکھ کر‘‘پڑھتے ہوئے اُسے اپنے لیے’’تختہ گل‘‘ جان کربے خوف وخطر عبورکرجاتے ہیں اور’’بخاک وخون غلطیدن‘‘کو’’عاشقان پاک طینت‘‘کاشیوۂ خوش یقین کرنے کے باعث دست قاتل کے لیے اُن کی زبان سے بکمال خندہ پیشانی احسنت ولبیک کانعرہ بیساختہ نکل جاتاہے ۔وہ جمعیتہ علماء ہند کے سرگرم کارکن تھے، اُنہوں نے اس مجلس کے سالانہ اجلاس امروہہ کی صدارت اُس پُرآشوب زمانہ میں کی جبکہ ہندوستان کشمکش حریت و آمریت کی طوفان خیزیوں کے باعث ایک نہایت ہی خطرناک دور سے گذر رہا تھا اورجبکہ ملک میں عام داروگیر نے سخت اضطراب وہیجان پیداکررکھا تھا وہ اپنے عزائم میں پہاڑ کی طرح مضبوط تھے۔جرم حریت کوشی کی پاداش میں جیل خانہ بھی گئے لیکن علالت کے باوجود ان سب تکلیفوں کوہنسی خوشی برداشت کرگئے اوران کی جبین استقلال وہمت مایوسی وخوف کی ایک شکن سے بھی آشنا نہیں ہوئی۔ مسلمانوں میں جوقحط الرجال پایا جاتاہے، اُس کے پیش نظر مولانا ایسے جامع کمالات اورپیکر علم وعمل کاسانحۂ مرگ یقینا بہت زیادہ...
The Trope (المجاز) is one of the vital chapters in the Eloquence of Arabic Language and its Rhetoric. It has two kinds; the Linguistic Trope/figuration and the Mental Trope/ figuration. In this article I concentrated on Mental Trope and all of its concerned motives in detail with examples of Quranic Verses and Prophetic Hadiths and Arabic Poetry. I have also discussed the view point of Abd Al-Qahir Al-Jurjani and Al-Khatib- Al-Quziani about Mental Trope/ figuration and its Rhetoric mysteries. I also shed light on academic ambivalences and differences in their view points. Furthermore, I have discussed the motives of Mental Trope in the negative mode and elaborated mental/rational circumstances in the negative mode in the light of views of Abd Al-Qahir Al-Jurjani and Saad ul din Al- Taftazani. At the end of this article I have mentioned Mental Trope’s presumptions and concluded the article with best positive sequences.
The present study was conducted to assess climate change and its impacts on growth of Cedrus deodara, Pinus wallichiana and Pinus roxburghii at Galies Forest Division-Abbottabad during 1962-2011. The climate parameters of temperature and precipitation were used to assess climate regimes and climate changes, both on annual and seasonal basis. Bioclimatic indices regimes and changes therein during 1962-201 were calculated. The ring-width, early wood and late wood formations, and wood cell diameter and thickness, were measured for time function analysis and impacts of climate change on these characteristics. The findings showed regimes of mean annual maximum temperature of 16.36±0.08 °C, mean annual minimum temperature 6.08±0.08 °C and mean annual temperature 11.21±0.07 °C, while of precipitation was 889.48±19.43 mm/annum. Climate Vegetation Productivity Index (CVPI) was ranging from 4,342 to 9,091. The mean CVPI was calculated at 6,816, which indicated productivity in the range of 163.91-184.77 cubic feet/acre. The mean ring-widths of C. deodara, P. wallichiana and P. roxburghii for the time period of 1962-2011 were 3.08±0.23 mm, 2.54±0.15 mm and 2.62±0.39 mm, with coefficients of variation of 32.88%, 26.55% and 67.20% respectively. The values of mean sensitivity of these species for the same period were 0.30±0.11, 0.38±0.11 and 0.29±0.10, with coefficients of variation of 16.56%, 19.50% and 17.53% respectively. The overall increase in temperature and fluctuations in precipitation affected tree growth, both in terms of ring-width and intra-ring wood characteristics. The temperature was found negatively correlated with mean ring-widths and early wood formation in all the three species, while the correlation with late wood formation and intra-ring wood characteristics were positive in some cases and negative in others.
