قرآن میں استفہامیہ اسلوب کے مقاصد
قرآن حکیم میں استفہام کا اسلوب کثرت سے استعمال کیا گیا ہے ۔ مخاطب میں آمادگی پیدا کرنے، غور وفکر کی دعوت دینے، مخاطب کو جواب سننے کےلیے آمادہ کرنے ، اور مخاطب سے کسی حقیقت کا اقرار کرانے کے لیے یہ اسلوب استعمال کیا گیا ہے ۔ استفہام ،اثبات کے ذریعے بھی کیا گیاہے اور منفی اندازِ استفہام بھی نظر آتاہے ۔علاوہ ازیں تاکید، ترغیب ،توبیخ،تحقیر، عبرت اندوزی، شان و شوکت کے اظہار اور التفات و نوازش کے لیے بھی اسے استعمال کیا گیاہے ۔ یہ اقرار و امر کےمعنی میں بھی آیاہے اوراظہار تعجب کے لیے بھی۔ حسرت کے انداز میں بھی اور بانداز استعجاب و استہزاء بھی۔ مسلسل استفہام بھی قرآن میں استعمال کیا گیا ہے ۔ مذکورہ بالا مقاصد وحکمتوں اور اس کے منفرد استعمال پر ذیل میں بحث کی گئی ہے ۔

Intelligence system is considered to be one of the important tools used by military and civil secret agencies to defend and strengthen a nation. Intelligence system is thought to be one of the oldest studies of known history. Intelligence system consists of correct and accurate information, gathered after great struggle and facing difficulties. This department is related to both peace and war. Intelligence is a basis of formulating all military strategies and plans. The importance of Intelligence system both in day to day life and as a nation cannot be overemphasized. This article narrates the history of espionage, which is as old as the history of mankind itself. Five thousand years ago, the Egyptians has a well-organized secret service. In the ancient western country, it was called as; hakim’, in Spain (Undles) as ‘Sahib al Madina’, in Tunis as ‘Ray’ and in Iran the as “Areef”. Nowadays it is known as ‘Muqadama-Tul-Haaraat’, Salaf-Us-Saliheen calls its “Shurtaa” and some calls it as ‘Sahib al-us-us’ as they use to move throughout the night to look for anti-state elements. The first ever victim of intelligence warfare was Hazrat Adam (A) where Satan revolt against him. Similarly, the incident of Hazrat Yousaf (A) is the indication of old age practice of espionage. Due to jealousy, his brothers sold him as slave and told their father that he has been eaten alive by a wolf. Hazrat Musa (A) had his network of espionage. Even birds had been used for spying, like in the case of Hazrat Suleman (A) where he was informed by the hopp bird about the Queen of Saba. The study of the Bible reveals that instead of Hazrat Eessa (A), Yehuda Skruti was crucified but still nobody knows for sure that whether he was a true follower of the Jesus or was an implanted agent of the Romans Intelligence Agency. Anyhow, Bible declared him as a Roman spy. The ongoing tribal wars in ancient Arabs further emphasized this activity. The rest of the world had already well developed intelligence system. But in Arab, it was in its development phase and it was the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who got it from his ancestors and developed it. In addition to the intelligence systems of the early prophets, the relevant events in the realm of Nijashi of Habsha and Alexander the Great, have been narrated in this article.

Genetic Analysis in Different Riverine Population of Carnivorous Fish Species Sperata Sarwari in Punjab, Pakistan

The Sperata (S.) sarwari is one of the commercially important carnivore freshwater fish and is now among the most endangered species in Pakistan. The study was designed to hypothesize that the natural population of S. sarwari has become fragmented due to the construction of barrages and the degradation of natural spawning grounds and also the decrease of genetic diversity is the main cause of decline in population. Molecular markers were applied to assess genetic variations between fish (S. sarwari) populations in four different rivers. Total eight populations were collected from the upstream and the downstream of the River Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi and Indus of the Punjab, Pakistan. The selected morphological and meristic characteristics showed significant (P< 0.05) variations between the upstream and the downstream population and also among the four riverine populations except weight, which was kept constant. For genetic analysis, fifteen RAPD markers were selected from the genomic Library on the basis of GC contents (%) and band reproducibility for the amplification of genomic DNA in S. sarwari. Out of 15 primers, ten RAPD primers produced 50 scorable bands with sizerange of 250-1050 bps. Molecular analysis showed significant polymorphism in the upstream and the downstream of the four riverne populations of S. sarwari. The highest polymorphism (62%) was observed in the River Indus population and lowest level (2%) was observed in the Ravi population. The genetic analysis revealed that the River Indus population showed the high gene diversity (h, 0.253±0.204) and the River Ravishowed the lowest gene diversity (h, 0.0096±0.068). The genetic variability with total heterozygosity (Ht, 0.3574±0.0350) revealed the significant higher variation (Gst, 0.5124) with very low level of migration flow (Nm, 0.4758) that showed no movement of a single individual between the upstream and the downstream of all river populations. Cluster analysis showed significant variations within and among rivers. Furthermore, the dendrogram showed that the S. sarwari population of the River Jhelum and RiverIndus were closely related, while the River Ravi population was completely distinct from other riverine populations. Hence, these genetic analysis described the higher level of genetic variability and lowest genetic flow that increased the inbreeding coefficient in S. sarwari population. Furthermore, this study revealed that the variations in the morphological characteristics are concordance with the genetic analysis. In the present study, it was also concluded that the lowest gene flow is the indication of isolation due to physical barriers i.e. dams and barrage. Hence, this information can be used by Ichthyologist managers and natural conservationist, who are interested in the future to save it from declining of S. sarwari.
