سید عدید ؔ(۱۹۶۵ء پ) کا اصل نام تنویر حسین شاہد ہے۔ آپ کھروٹہ سیداں سیالکوٹ میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ایم۔اے اردو گورنمنٹ مرے کالج سیالکوٹ سے کیا۔ ۱۹۸۰ء میں مرے کالج میں آپ حلقہ اربابِ ذوق کے جائنٹ سیکرٹری تھے۔ آپ نے شاعری میں یوسف نیر اور اصغر سودائی سے ابتدائی راہنمائی لی۔ سب سے پہلے مرے کالج کے ادبی رسالے ’’مفکر‘‘ میں آپ کا کلام شائع ہوا۔ ’’بالتحقیق ‘‘ سیالکوٹ اور ’’اخبار جہاں‘‘ لاہور میں بھی ان کا ابتدائی کلام چھپتا رہا۔ (۱۱۴۹) ’’وقت ‘‘ سید عدید کا پہلا شعری مجموعہ ہے۔ جو سیالکوٹ سے ۱۹۸۸ء کو شائع ہوا۔ دوسرا شعری مجموعہ ’’تلاش‘‘۱۹۹۴ء میں شائع ہوا۔ ’’ہم نفس‘‘ تیسرا شعری مجموعہ ہے جو ۱۹۹۵ء میں شائع ہوا۔ آپ کا چوتھا شعری مجموعہ ’’فریب دے کر چلا گیا ہے‘‘ ہے جسے ادیب پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۱۹۹۶ء میں شائع کیا۔ ’’محبتوں میں حساب کیا‘‘عدید کا پانچواں شعری مجموعہ ہے جسے الحمد پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۱۹۹۸ء میں شائع کیا۔ چھٹا شعری مجموعہ ’’پیاربے اختیار ہوتا ہے‘‘ جسے الحمد پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۲۰۰۰ء میں شائع کیا۔ ’’ساتھ تمہار ا اگر ملے‘‘ ساتواں شعری مجموعہ ہے۔ جسے القلم پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۲۰۰۶ء میں شائع کیا۔ آٹھواں شعری مجموعہ ’’تیرے بن زندگی‘‘ ہے جسے مراد پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۲۰۱۰ء میں شائع کیا۔ اس کے علاوہ ’’وفائیں ساتھ رہتی ہیں‘‘ ،’’گردش‘‘ ،’’تمنادل میں رہتی ہے‘‘، ’’درد کے سمندر میں‘‘،عدید کے زیر طبع کتابوں کے نام ہیں جو جلد شائع ہونے والی ہیں۔کافی مسودے ایسے بھی ہیں جن کے نام ابھی تک تجویز نہیں کیے گئے ہیں۔

قرآن کریم میں مذکور اسماءالنبیﷺکی تفہیم اور مطالعہ سیرت میں ان کی اہمیت Understanding the Names of the Prophet ﷺ mentioned in the Holy Quran and their importance in the study of Sirah

In the Qur'an, Allah mentioned His Beloved ﷺ in addition to his personal names, but also with different attribute names which, apart from his greatness and dignity, highlight different aspects of the life of the Prophet ﷺ. Along with increasing the love of the Prophetﷺ, these names cover various aspects of the Prophet's life, from which many jurisprudential issues can be derived in addition to his dawah life, private and political affairs. Therefore, your names are scattered in the Holy Quran like pearls, which the people of love wrap around their necks and live in the love of the Prophet ﷺ. In the article under review titled "Understanding the Names of the Prophet ﷺ in the Holy Quran and their Importance in Studying the Sirah" the personal and attribute names of the Holy Prophet ﷺ will be explained in the light of different interpretations and hadiths which will not only make it possible to understand the blessed name but will also shed light on various aspects of Seerat Tayyaba. Improving the Context of Learning by Using Appreciative Inquiry Approach Aia

The purpose of this study was to enhance the learning environment through Appreciative Inquiry Approach (AlA) in a government secondary school of Karachi. The study focused on one component of the learning environment such i.e. the students' participation in classroom discussions. In government schools, the culture of problem-solving focuses on deficiencies and ignores the positive aspects and the strengths of people. In the problem solving approach, we assume that there must be something wrong and we look for it with the intent to solve it. AlA is an alternate approach initiated as a reaction to the problem-based approach, as it is a search for "the best" of what already exists. Therefore, using this approach, my hypothesis was that every person, organization, system, and community has something that works well, and boosts up the moral and confidence of people. The learning environment (in this case, through enhancing students' participation) can be enhanced through searching for what is good and working well. The qualitative Participatory Action Research (embedded in an appreciative lens) was employed since it suited the aim and purpose of the study. Two teachers were selected, one who was in favour of using AlA and the other who was opposed to the idea. Reflective journals, notes of classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, reflective meetings, and study documents were used as data collection tools. By conducting this study, the potential, possibilities and challenges of using strength based approach in the teaching and learning processes have been explored. The findings indicate that the students' participation can be enhanced by using strength based approach, which encourages them through positive words, gestures, and especially highlighting their strengths. This study has ample value and significance for research participants who want to enhance their students' participation in classroom discussions. It would help them to reflect on their existing understanding and practices (e.g. what they do, why they do, how it contributes to the learning environment, etcetera). The study has implications for teachers in their professional life as well as their social life.
