صحت مند رویّے صحت مند معاشرہ

صدر ِمحترم اور معزز سامعین! آج مجھے جس موضوع پر اظہار خیال کرنا ہے وہ ہے:’’صحت مند رویے صحت مند معاشرہ‘‘
جنابِ صدر!
ہر ایک کی خواہش ہوتی ہے کہ وہ ایک معیاری زندگی گزارے، ایسی زندگی جس میں مسرتوں اور خوشیوں کے سوا اور کچھ نہ ہو، ایسی زندگی جو پریشانیوں اور مصیبتوں سے کوسوں دور ہو، ایسی زندگی جس میں انسان کے محبت اور پیار کا وافر سامان موجود ہو، ایسی زندگی جس کو دیکھ کر رشک کیا جائے۔

اس خواہش کی تکمیل کے لیے کئی خواہشات کی قربانی دینا پڑے گی، بے جا نمودونمائش کو چھوڑنا پڑے گا، ریا کاری، تصنع ، بناوٹ اور تفوق کے خیالات کو دل سے نکالنا ہوگا، حسد، بغض ،نفرت جیسی غیر اخلاقی بیماریوں سے کنارہ کشی اختیارکرنا ہوگی، بُخل، اسراف او ر ظلم و جبر جیسے تصورات اور نظریات کے عفریت کو کچلنا ہوگا۔
جنابِ صدر!
صحت مند رویے ہی صحت مند معاشرے کے قیام کا باعث ہوتے ہیں، صحت مند افراد صحت مند رویوں کا باعث ہوتے ہیں ، حدیث نبویؐ ہے کہ’’ صحت مند دماغ صحت مند جسم میں ہوتا ہے ‘‘ صحت درست ہوگی تو دماغ درست ہوگا، دماغ درست ہوگا تو خیالات درست ہوں گے سوچ مثبت ہوگی ، سوچ مثبت ہوگی تو معاشی اور معاشرتی غرض سے بنائے گئے منصوبے نافع ہوں گے۔

The article explores views of Maulᾱna Waḥῑduddῑn Khᾱn on relation between Islam and secularism as there is no specification of his thoughts on the above issue as critics and other scholars tend to show confusion when they approach Khᾱn’s thoughts from that specific angle. Maulᾱna Waḥῑduddῑn Khᾱn is an Indian religious scholar and peace activist who is alive and known for his modern, cosmopolitan and peaceful thoughts. In this article the scattered and disjointed views of Khᾱn on relation between Islam and secularism have been portrayed as to give context to his original views and show his actual stance which might remove the confusion prevalent amongst intellectuals and scholars as to spot Khᾱn’s basic stance on the above issue. The definition and different experiences of secularism has been shortly described along with projection of diversity of stance from other Muslim scholars as to broaden the very background of the issue. Later the views of Khᾱn and his approach to the issue have been presented. The article will throw light that how Khᾱn perceives the issue of relation between Islam and secularism and what is the point of convergence and divergence between Islam and secularism. This article will also highlight that whether he deals the topic on the basis of creed or philosophy or pragmatism and that whether he takes secularism as beneficial or damaging to the interest of Muslims and Islam. The article also shed light on the scheme of Khᾱn that how Muslim should deal with the phenomenon of secularism.
This research investigates the social and domestic problems faced by the married nurses in the fulfillment of
their professional responsibilities. Study addresses the critical issue of work family conflict in Pakistani
perspective. The Research was conducted in two hospitals of Islamabad (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences
and Poly Clinic Hospital). Different aspects of the issue were endeavored to be explored. The main domain of
this research was to see the prevalence of work-family conflict among nurses. One of the more frequent pursuits
in the research is the quest to identify which segment of shift schedule (morning, evening and night) represents
higher level of work family conflict for married nurses. Sample of the study consisted of two hundred married
nurses working in different shifts in hospitals out of which 161 responded back. The Response rate was 80%.
The Study further explored Length of shift, work schedule flexibility, family support that affects Work – family
conflicts. The results of the study reveal that presently most of the nurses working in hospitals are assigned
12-hour Shift. Work schedule flexibility and family support are negatively associated with work- family conflicts
while work schedule flexibility is positively associated with family supports. Evening and night shift nurses
were found to have greater level of work family conflict than that of morning shift nurses. Nurses with
cooperative environment at home suffer less from social and domestic problems while lengthy duration of
working shifts affects the married life of the nurses.
