23. Al-Mu’minun/The Believers
I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah
The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.
23:01
a. Indeed, The Believers will succeed.
23:02
a. The Believers are those who humble themselves in their Salat/Prayers,
23:03
a. and those who avoid frivolous talk and behavior,
23:04
a. and those who regularly pay out the Zakat/annual charity,
23:05
a. and those who guard their chastity -
23:06
except from their spouses or from those whom their right hands possess -
for then, indeed, they are free from blame.
23:07
a. But whoever seeks beyond that limit, those - they are the transgressors,
23:08
a. and those who faithfully keep their trusts, pledges, contracts, and promises,
23:09
a. and those who guard their Salat/Prayers from worldly distractions.
23:10
a. It is they - they are the inheritors -
23:11
who will inherit the Paradise of Firdaws,
they will live therein forever!
23:12
And, indeed, WE created the human being out of the essence of clay.
23:13
Thereafter, WE made him as a mingled drop in a secure repository of the female’s womb.
23:14
And, then, WE made an embryo/clot from the drop,
and then WE made a lump from the embryo/clot,
and, then, WE made bones from the chewed-up lump,
and, then, WE clothed the bones with flesh and muscles.
And, then, out of that tiny drop, WE structured him into yet another creation.
So Exalted is Allah - the Best Creator of all creators!
Family is the basic institution among all other institutions. Ifthis institution is good then the whole society will be good. Ifthis institution is not sound, then it is difficult to get good society. In this institution a woman play an important role, either that be a wife, mother, daughter or sister. In any condition we cannot deny her importance and her role in the general well-being of society. From the historical study we come to know that until the teaching ofthe prophets were followed, woman was honored. But when their teachings were neglected or mixed with personal interest then women were deprivedfrom their rights and were dishonored, As a result social system sufferedfrom disruption. The injustice with women was notjust in any particular culture or religion but in every culture and religion she remained under violence. When Holy prophet (PBUH) came, he saved her rights and responsibilities, so thatfamily should bepeaceful andsociety wouldget good citizens. A comparative study of women's rights has been presented in this paper, and it will be estimated that what other religions and cultures give rights to women and what Islam has given
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to compare diagnostic yield of a new Opposed Phase Imaging protocol [OPI] to the standard conventional MRI protocol [CONV] in demonstration of lumbar degenerative disc disease at 1.5T.
Materials and Methods: A total of 102 patients suspected of lumbar disc disease were examined using the two protocols.Images from both protocols were then analyzed independently by two radiologists. Categoryof disc disease[normal, bulge ,protrusion, extrusion] andanatomic clarity of spinalstructures related to disc disease[nerve roots, osteophytes, modic changes and hemangiomas ]were assessed using astandard4 pointscoring scale [1=inadequate,2 =adequate,3=normal ,4=optimal.]
Comparison of the results from the two protocols was done using wilcoxons analysis, Mann Whitney test and the student paired t test.
Results: Of the 510 discs (in 102 patients) examined by OPI and conventional protocols, 488[96%,CI 93.93-97.45] had concordant diagnosis for disc disease and associated pathologies. Only 1% of the discordant disc lesions showed radiologically significant findings.
There was no statistically significant difference [P >0.05] among the two radiologists in the subjective scores given for the two protocols. OPI received similar scores to conventional protocol in optimally demonstrating osteophytes, modic changes and hemangiomas [p > 0.001].OPI however received significantly lesser scores [P< 0.001] for anatomic clarity of the discs and nerve roots.
The average imaging time for OPI protocol was 7 minutes which was significantly shorter [p <0.001, CI 7.07-7.19] than that of conventional protocol of 16 minutes.
Conclusion: OPI has comparable pick up rate for pathology in lumbar degenerative disc disease despite the fact that the new protocol gives less anatomic clarity compared to the conventional protocol for discs and nerve roots. The new protocol is adequate in demonstrating other spinal structures [modic changes, osteophytes and hemangiomas] related to degenerative disc disease.
OPI takes a significantly shorter imaging time and can therefore be an alternative time saver in imaging lumbar disc disease.
