دوسرا علمی حادثہ مولانا عبدالمجید حریری مرحوم کی وفات کا ہے، انھوں نے بھی گزشتہ مہینہ وفات پائی، مرحوم مدنپورہ بنارس کے ایک ممتاز انصاری خاندان سے تھے، عربی اور انگریزی دونوں زبانوں کے فاضل تھے، عربی کی تکمیل کے بعد انگریزی کی تعلیم علی گڑھ کالج میں حاصل کی تھی، اور اپنے دور کے ممتاز طلبہ میں تھے، یہیں سے خلافت اور نان کو اپریشن کی تحریک میں شریک ہوئے اور ایک زمانہ تک جنگ آزادی میں سرگرمی سے حصہ لیتے رہے، اس دور کے تمام بڑے بڑے لیڈروں سے ان کے تعلقات تھے، ہندوستان کی آزادی کے بعد حکومت ہند نے ان کو سعودی عرب میں قونصل جنرل مقرر کیا، کئی سال تک اس عہدہ پر رہے، اس سے سبکدوش ہونے کے بعد کچھ دنوں تک سعودی عرب کے پایہ تخت ریاض میں قیام رہا، مرحوم ہندوستان کے ممتاز صاحب علم تھے، عربی زبان پر ان کو اہل زبان کی جیسی قدرت حاصل تھی، مقرر بھی اچھے تھے، لیکن افسوس ان کے سیاسی ذوق نے ان کے علمی جوہروں کو چمکنے نہ دیا، ایک عرصہ سے اس کا دائرہ بھی مقامی سیاست تک محدود ہوگیا تھا، اس لئے وہ جس علمی شہرت کے مستحق تھے وہ ان کو حاصل نہ ہوسکی اور اب عرصہ سے خانہ نشینی اختیار کرلی تھی، وہ مسلکاً اہل حدیث تھے، لیکن ہر مسلک کے علماء اور اہل علم سے ان کے تعلقات تھے، دارالمصنفین کے بزرگوں سے بھی ان کے پرانے روابط تھے، اس سلسلہ میں کئی مرتبہ ان کا یہاں آنا ہوا گزشتہ سال ایک تقریب سے بنارس جانا ہوا تو ملاقات کے لئے ان کی خدمت میں بھی حاضر ہوا تھا، بہت ضعیف ہوچکے تھے دماغ بھی پوری طرح کام نہ دیتا تھا، تعارف کے بعد پہچانا اور بڑی شفقت و محبت سے پیش...

Effects of Hindu Civilization on Muslim Culture and Civilization: A Review from Pakistan’s Context

مسلم تہذیب و تمدن پر ہندؤ تہذیب کے اثرات: پاکستانی تناظر میں جائزہ Islam provides a complete and comprehensive concept of civilization that includes all aspects of human life and provides a complete philosophy of life. Generally speaking a civilization is the expression of any philosophy or belief that develops into the political, social, economical and cultural norms. Main focus of the present research is the impact of Hindu civilization on our society, we see that by living with the Hindu society, their beliefs, casteism, rituals, have influenced the people around them. Pakistan is and always has been an amalgam of a diverse culture. Pakistan has a rich culture without a doubt, but this culture is in the line of fire in association to powerful Indian culture. From birth to death, there are small rituals that were normally associated with Hindus, have also slowly mixed with Islamic culture and have become inseparable. Change in the social life of Muslims of subcontinent is due to conversion of a large number of Hindus to Islam. They accepted the preaching of Islam but did not give up their practices and rituals. Consequently, their rituals and practices were incorporated into the Muslim society. Some social ceremonies associated with births, deaths, and marriages were influenced by Hindu culture. It is a fact that media played a great role in propagating Hindu culture. Therefore, in this article, efforts are made to analyze all the factors due to which we are facing challenges of Hindu civilization and how we can get rid of its impacts on Muslims thoughts, culture and society. Allah Almighty says: O people, who believe in Allah, enter the whole circle of Islam. So, to address all above-mentioned challenges, a comparative and analytical research methodology with qualitative paradigm has been conducted in this research paper. At the end, solutions have been provided.

A Mathematical Study of Nonlinear Dispersive Partial Differential Equations for Solitons

An effort has been made to find out the exact solitary wave solutions of several PDEs. These partial differential equations are globally accepted as the governing equations of the fields they are related to. Finding their new exact solutions is not only exciting mathematically. It is also a service towards a better understanding of the phenomena themselves. In recent decades, nonlinear wave phenomena and their governing equations have attracted great attention. They arise in several fields of science and engineering including hydrodynamics, condensed matter physics, Bose-Einstein-condensation, nonlinear optics, Josephson junctions, biophysics, field theory etc. To solve these partial differential equations (PDEs), some methods and tools have been developed in the past. This work is mainly concerned with a specific class of exact solutions, called the solitary wave solutions. These types of solutions are of great interest for scientists and engineers working in the fields of fiber optics and wave propagation etc. We have found new soliton solutions to some well-known nonlinear PDEs such as the , Camassa-Holm-ΚP equations, generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (ZK-BBM) equation, generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov(ZK) equation, perturbed nonlinearSchrödinger’s equation in the form ofKerr law nonlinearity(NLSE) equation (2+1)dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (KP-BBM) wave equation, (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation, modified Kortewgde Vries-Zakharov-Kuznetsov (KdV-ZK) equation, fourth order Boussinesq equation, Landau-Ginburg-Higgs equation, Cahn-Allen equation, two-mode modified Korteweg-de Vries (TmKdV) equation and nonlinear Schrödinger equation. These new solutions are more generalized and are supposed to give better simulations of the real-world problems to which the PDEs correspond. It is also expected from our study that the computer simulators used to mimic the wave propagation can be enhanced on the basis of our exact solutions. We have used some transformations to convert the PDEs, at hand, to the corresponding ODEs. To extract solitary wave solutions to these PDEs, certain balancing principles are implemented. The shapes and behaviors of these solutions are simulated graphically with the help of the mathematical software Maple. Descriptions of the parameters and the values that have been used to simulate the waves are also provided. We have not only determined some totally novel solutions to the equations under consideration, but also, we have managed to generalize many already existing solutions.
