Teaching and Learning in the continuum of time is an oldest and will be the latest trait till the doomsday a human being shall encounter without any iota of doubt. It has been experienced that both teaching-learning are mutually exclusive traits yet the shared experience is result of various knowledge and psychologically driven aspects from both teachers and learners alike. Over the period, various teaching and learning theories have been developed by Social scientists and educationists which comprehensively cover all aspects of supervised and unsupervised modes of pedagogy. With E-technologies in place, the challenge of proper teaching and learning has opened up a plethora of issues primarily arguing on the diminishing layer of teachers by technology. The role of teacher is visualized more as intelligent content manager for e-learners. As a result in recent studies more emphasis has been given on learning management system (LMS) and multimedia technologies for content presentation. We have in this dissertation revisited the centuries old problem of mapping right role of teacher with intended learners‟ profile to maximize the best teaching-learning experience. As a result, contrary to few other researches which focused on enhancing e-learner experience, we have modeled using personas of the teachers and their changing roles by identifying the learners‟ behaviors. Using HCI‟s famous UCD approach personas of teachers based on famous Kolb‟s learning styles model has been developed. Comparisons and results were tested on university undergraduate students in a distance learning set up and in physical classroom set up. Analysis of results using Bayesian Networks was carried out showing that proper mapping of students‟ behavior in usage of e-learning system with varying roles of e-teacher is an area which enhances the overall pedagogical (teaching-learning) experience. Suggestions on improvement as identified through a literature as a major gap in e-learning solutions have been presented and concluded with.

گزشتہ اکتوبر کو علمی جماعت کے پرانے ممتاز رکن مولوی عنایت اﷲ صاحب دہلوی مرحوم سابق ناظم دارالترجمہ حیدرآباد دکن نے انتقال کیا، مرحوم علی گڑھ کالج کے دور اول کے ممتاز تعلیم یافتہ تھے، علم و ادب کا مذاق اپنے نامور باپ مولوی ذکاء اﷲ صاحب دھلوی سے ورثہ میں پایا تھا، طالب علمی ہی کے زمانہ سے ان کے یہ جوہر نمایاں تھے، سرسید کے بہت سے علمی اور ترجمہ وغیرہ کے کام وہی انجام دیتے تھے، اس دور کے ان کے بعض تراجم اب تک یادگار ہیں، ان میں سب سے اہم پروفیسر آرنلڈ کی مشہور کتاب ’’پریچنگ آف اسلام‘‘ کا ترجمہ ’’دعوتِ اسلام‘‘ ہے، تعلیم سے فراغت کے بعد ۱۸۹۳؁ء میں وہ کالج لائبریری کے لائبریرین مقرر ہوئے، کچھ دونوں تک ریاضی کی پروفیسری کی۔ اعزازی خدمت اور تہذیب الاخلاق کی ادارت کے فرائض انجام دیئے، ۱۹۰۰؁ء میں گورنمنٹ کے سلسلۂ ملازمت میں داخل ہوئے اور جونپور کی عدالت ججی میں منصرم مقرر ہوئے، ۱۹۱۵؁ء میں ریاست گوالیار نے گورنمنٹ سے ان کی خدمت مستعار لے کر اپنے شعبہ فنانس کا انڈر سکریٹری بنایا۔ دوران ملازمت میں ترجمہ کا مشعلہ برابر جاری رہا اور اس میں ان کو اتنی شہرت حاصل ہوگئی کہ جامعہ عثمانیہ کے قیام کے سلسلہ میں حیدرآباد میں جب دارالترجمہ کا قیام عمل میں آیا، تو گورنمنٹ نظام نے ان کو حیدرآباد میں منتقل کراکے ۱۹۲۰؁ء میں ان کو دارالترجمہ کا ناظم مقرر کیا، ۱۴ سال تک بڑی قابلیت کے ساتھ اس خدمت کو انجام دیتے رہے، ۱۹۳۴؁ء میں اس سے سبکدوشی حاصل کرکے دہرہ دون کی پر سکون فضا میں قیام اختیار کیا اور یہیں ۲۲؍ اکتوبر ۱۹۴۳؁ء کو وفات پائی۔

This exploratory study delves into the remarkable efforts of Hazrat Abd al-Muttalib, the revered grandfather of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, in rejuvenating the Millat-e-Ibrahimi, the Abrahamic faith, in pre-Islamic Arabia. This study investigates the pivotal role played by Hazrat Abd al-Muttalib in preserving and strengthening the monotheistic beliefs of his forefathers, Abraham and Ishmael, against the backdrop of a polytheistic society. Drawing from historical accounts, oral traditions, and early Islamic sources, the research uncovers the strategies and initiatives employed by Hazrat Abd al-Muttalib to foster unity among the disparate Arabian tribes and uphold the principles of monotheism. This study sheds light on a crucial yet often understudied period in Islamic history, exploring the legacy of Hazrat Abd al-Muttalib as a precursor to the prophethood of his grandson, the Holy Prophet Muhammad. Jet Production in Hadron-Hadron Collisions at High Energies

Jet Production in Hadron-Hadron Collisions at High Energies We investigated the effects of jet production on the following parameters: multiplicity, pseudorapidity, transverse momentum and transverse mass distributions of charged particles produced in hadron-hadron collisions at 1.8 TeV, centre of mass energy, using the Dubna version of HIJING model. These distributions are analyzed for the whole range and for six selected regions of the polar angle (angle of the secondary particles with respect to the beam axis) as a function of number of jets. The results for the charged particles multiplicity distributions were compared with experimental ones coming from the SPS and Tevatron experiments and the increase in the multiplicity of the charged particles influenced by multi-jet events is discussed. The results for pseudorapidity distributions are interpreted and discussed in connection to the increase observed in the multiplicity of charged particles as a result of its multi-jet dependence and are also discussed in comparison with the experimental results coming from the CDF Collaboration. The analysis of effect of the multi-jet events on the transverse momentum and transverse mass distributions is also discussed in connection to the increase in the multiplicity and pseudorapidity density of charged particles. We concluded that high multiplicity regions, the increased pseudorapidity density and the high pT regions correspond mainly to the multi-jet events.
