“Classroom Environment Leading to Democracy and Social Responsibility at Secondary Level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” was quite a new study in this region. Since, the study was descriptive, the objectives of the study were: (1) to explore the social environment of the classroom at secondary level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; (2) to investigate the organizational environment of the classroom at secondary level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; (3) to analyze classroom environment leading to democracy at secondary level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and (4) to find out the classroom environment leading to social responsibility at secondary level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. All 302,170 Secondary School Heads, Secondary School Teachers and Secondary School Students constituted the population for this study. A stratified sample of 1260 was selected through random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used as research instrument for the collection of data. The collected data were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted category wise by comparing responses of the three groups, Principals/Head Masters, Secondary School Teachers and Secondary School Students. To analyze the data, Chi-Square test was used as a contingency test and percentages were used. The responses were tested at significance level of 0.05. On the basis of analysis it was discovered that majority of the respondents were of the opinion that they had interaction with the teachers/students and they expressed themselves freely. The classrooms environment was co-operative and competitive. Teachers’ behavior was friendly. Teachers shared the classroom responsibility. Physical structure of class was attractive. Classes were ventilated and lighted. Schools were providing productive students. Students were the active participants of the community. Students were given opportunities to participate in the major and the minor issues of the classrooms. Classroom curriculum instilled democratic values. xviiIt was recommended that level of interaction may be increased. Teachers should be provided co-operative and competitive environment for the promotion of democracy and social responsibility. Teachers should plan properly in the classroom for promoting democracy. Teachers should be given proper training for teaching democracy. Curriculum must be shaped to inculcate democratic values in students, so that the students become the democratic agents of positive change in the society.

افسوس ہے کہ گذشتہ مہینہ جماعتِ اہلحدیث کے مشہور و ممتاز عالم اور نامور مناظر مولانا محمد ابوالقاسم صاحب سیف بنارسی نے ۶۱ سال کی عمر میں انتقال کیا، مرحوم کی ساری عمر دین و علومِ دینیہ کی خدمت میں گذری، مدرسہ سعید یہ بنارس میں چالیس سال تک حدیثِ نبوی کا درس دیا، جوان کی سب سے بڑے فضیلت ہے، درس و تدریس کے ساتھ وعظ و تبلیغ اور تالیف و تصنیف کا شغل بھی تھا، لیکن ان کی بیشتر تصانیف مناظرانہ ہیں، آریوں، عیسائیوں اور قادیانیوں سے بڑے معرکہ کے مناظرے کئے، احناف سے بھی اس کی نوبت آجاتی تھی ادھر چند برسوں کے اندران پر فالج کے کئی ہلکے حملے ہوئے جس سے ان کی صحت بگڑ گئی تھی اس کے باوجود ان کے علمی و تعلیمی مشاغل جاری تھے ، کہ گذشتہ ۲۵؍ نومبر کو جمعہ کے دن پھر اچانک حملہ ہوا اور چند گھنٹوں کے اندر قال اللّٰہ وقال الرسول کی یہ آواز ہمیشہ کے لیے خاموش ہوگئی، مرحوم کے انتقال سے ہندوستان کے طبقہ علماء میں ایک ممتاز جگہ خالی ہوگئی، اللّٰھم اغفرہ مغفرۃً واسعۃً۔ (شاہ معین الدین ندوی، دسمبر ۱۹۴۹ء)

In the present age, youth occupy an important position and can play a very important role in reforming and improving the world conditions. In Quran several methods are suggested for character building of youth for example following “Uswa-e-Hasna” and by preaching and motivation of youth the fear Allah, the crated in their heard for reforming them. In some cases, the punishment can also reformed of youth. Youth is an important entity of any human society. Particularly in an Islamic society, youth has great significance. Youth is considered as a junction of past, present and future. The role of young generation cannot be neglected in the building of character, changes in circumstances and development of society. Youth should play a positive and effective role against various evils, which are prevalent in human society. What can be the religious social, political, ethical and educational duties of the Muslim? How can they play their role in reformation of society? How can they be bright stars of their country by fulfilling their duties? How can the whole humanity and particularly Islamic Ummah get benefits from their youth? The answers to these questions are central idea and theme of this article, generally in the light of Islam and particularly in the light of seerah-un-nabwiyia. In following lines, it has been tried to impart feelings of high self-esteem in the young generation who have forgotten it. It is an effort to motivate the youth for practical actions.

The Impact of Organizational Learning on Firm's Perceived Financial Performance Taking The Role of Leadership as Moderator

This research thesis investigates the impact of organizational learning on firm's financial performance and also figure out the moderating effect of leadership on their relationship. The primary purpose of the study is to perform an exploratory research. Survey is conducted among the six telecommunication companies working in the Faisalabad. Data of 251 respondents from these six selected companies were collected for analysis. The data is primary in nature. The study is quantitative in nature. A structured close ended questionnaire is used and results are analyzed through regression with the help of SPSS. The financial performance used in this thesis is based on the perceptions of the employees under study. The results of the study show organizational learning has a positive impact on firm's perceived financial performance while organizational learning has more effect on financial performance in presence of leadership, where leadership acts as moderator. It is suggested that these companies must deploy their efforts in enhancing on organizational learning capabilities to get the better financial results. In study, quantitative research design is used. Instrument is integrated 65 items. Instrument contains three parts, (1) Organizational Learning (Devmoski 1994), (2) financial Performance (Li & Lu, 2007) and (3) Leadership (Zagorsek et al. 2009). Correlation Analysis of each items of major variable confirms the moderate relationships between them. Data is collected from population of 600 employees of telecommunication companies in Faisalabad, Pakistan. 251 valid responses are entered in statistical program tool (SPSS 20) to perform data analysis. Results and discussion of the study discuss that research fulfill the objectives of the study. Companies can use these findings in future to analyze themselves from wider perspectives. This research can help R&D departments to work on these areas for better performance of companies. Due to some limitations of study, this research suggests some future recommendations. Due to limited time and other resources, research was limited to small population and sample size. In future, research can be conducted for large population. In future, other companies can use this research for their better performance.
