24. Al-Nur/The Light
I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah
The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.
24:01
This is a Surah that WE have sent down, and made its Injunctions mandatory to be applied in matters of ethics, mannerism, and morality,
and WE have sent down Clear Messages in it so that you may contemplate and enact.
24:02
The adulterous and fornicator female and the adulterous and fornicator male, where both are equally guilty of engaging in an extramarital relationship, flog each one of them a hundred lashes.
And let no compassion, pity, or sympathy for both of them keep you away from executing the command of Allah’s Religion, if you truly believe in Allah – the One and Only God of everyone, and the Last Hour.
And ensure that a group of believers witness their punishment.
24:03
After the punishment has been executed the adulterous or fornicator male will not marry anyone but an adulterous or fornicator female, or a polytheist female.
And the adulterous or fornicator female will only marry an adulterous or fornicator male, or a polytheist male.
But marrying someone guilty of adultery or fornication is forbidden for the believers.
24:04
And those who falsely accuse a chaste/respectable lady of an extramarital affair on circumstantial evidence but then do not bring four eye witnesses in support of their accusation,
then flog them eighty lashes,
and never accept their testimony ever again.
And those - they are the ones who have overstepped the limits.
24:05
Exceptions are those who later repent and reform themselves,
for sure, Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.
24:06
And as for those...
There are several points which illustrate Qur’ānic I‘jāz and probably rely on Islamic Theologians -Mutakallimin’s- efforts as well as exertions regarding Qur’ānic I‘jāz. Mutakallimin for having good command over Arabic rhetorical structures have demonstrated Qur’ānic I‘jāz in two contexts: theoretically and empirically. They actually validated, that Qur’ān is the book of Allah Almighty, through comparing both standard Arabic texts: prose and poetry into face of Qur’ānic text. All these cherished efforts of Mutakallimin are rooted in Arabic rhetoric which stands for that Arabic Rhetoric and ‘ilm al-Kalām; both have very primary relation resulting in that cannot be ignored while analyzing I‘jāz phenomenon.
Probiotic yeast has been frequently used in animal feed to improve gut microbiota. The gut
bacterial community of dairy cattle is very important, because it may influence milk yield and
animal health. However, knowledge related to fecal-associated bacterial communities is still very
poor. It was hypothesized that feeding probiotic yeast (Yea-Sac
) would improve the microbial
population in the gastrointestinal tract of dairy cattle (buffaloes) by analyzing the fecal matter. In
this study, the impact of dietary addition of commercially available probiotic yeast (Yea-Sac
1026
)
on the fecal population of some target species related to gut microbes (i.e., Escherichia coli,
Enterococcus, Lactococcus, Bacillus, Lactobacillus, Salmonella, Bifidobacterium spp.) was
evaluated. For this purpose, six buffaloes were used as experimental animals and two equal
groups having three buffaloes (in each) were formed i.e, control feed and experimental probiotic
yeast feed group. For two month trial period (60 days), control feed group animals were fed on
with routine diet whereas experimental feed group animals were fed on the same diet with
addition of commercially available probiotic yeast (Yea-Sac
1026
) 10g/day/animal. The fecal
samples were collected on 1
1026
day. Fecal matter (1gm) was collected individually in
disposable bags and used for determining the number of Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, E. coli,
and Salmonella species. Morphological and biochemical tests of all selected bacterial strains were
performed. Results showed that a large bacterial diversity was present in the fecal samples of
buffaloes. The relative proportion of beneficial (Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium) bacteria as well
as pathogenic (E.coli and Salmonella species) bacteria were altered by feeding commercially
available probiotic yeast (Yea-Sac
st
, 30
th
and 60
th
). So, it is suggested that the commercial probiotic yeast
(Yea-Sac
1026
) can be used to promote the beneficial bacteria in GIT of buffalo to sustain the
balance of healthy microbial population and it also helps in reduction of pathogenic bacterial
population
