Chinese Foreign policy is of vital importance in the South Asian region which in turn carries highly significant prominence in defining the course of events that affect the contours of international political order. The strategic importance of the region centers on the fact that it is the gateway to the Indian Ocean which is known as the energy jugular of global trade. The changing political dynamics of South Asia particularly in relation with Pakistan and India, the two major nuclear capable actors, are also significant. In order to assess the foreign policy of China with two regional rivals a constructivist analysis is undertaken based on a rational actor model. A comparative rational analysis based on the five principles of coexistence i.e., respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty, mutual non-aggression, noninterference in each other‘s domestic affairs, equality and mutual cooperation is formulated along with strategic and economic policies of China towards India and Pakistan. This dissertation also analyzes the foreign policy of these actors namely China, Pakistan and India, to asses paradigm shifts in policy from 2000 to 2014. The thesis highlights changing trends on various economic and military levels to understand foreign policy.

غریبوں کی معاشی کفالت میں صحابیات رضی اﷲ عنھن کا کردار

Islamic cardinal precepts include seeking benefaction and patronage of other Muslims. Generally, Islamic history is replete with such munificent and generous personages as were ever geared up to serving humanity, yet the golden era of Islamic history excelled in profusion of such noble persons. When we review the aspect of serving mankind in the life history of the reverend Sahaba (the holy prophet’s disciples), we come to know that they had highly remarkable passions for helping, beneficing, supporting and sustaining their relatives, friends as well as the common run. The level of their charity was so great that they felt felicity and prostrated to Allah in gratitude even after giving away their all possessions and belongings for Allah’s sake only. In fact, the motivation behind this generosity was the attainment of pleasing Allah and the obedience and submission to the holy prophet. They had no iota of worldly voracity or avarice. Therefore, they were ever elated over giving away their assets.

Role of Perceived Organizational Justice in Organizational Commitment: Evidences from Kpk Universities

The research study aims to investigate the role of employee’s perceptions as they perceive with regard to organizational justice and its effect on the commitment among employees of Public & Private sector Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The research investigation focused on the relationship between the five dimensions of organizational justice over the three dimensions of organizational commitment. The population of the study includes faculty and non-faculty employees. The determined sample size of 1,090 employees is further derived on proportionate sampling method for each university. The questionnaires were self-administered employing convenience sampling technique. The questionnaire for Organizational justice was adapted from Price & Mueller (1986) while commitment was measured by using Meyer and Allen (1997) model comprising of three components; affective, continuance and normative commitment. Inferential statistics including; factor analysis, correlation and multiple regressions and paired t test were employed. The findings of the study revealed that all the five dimensions of organizational justice (distributive, procedural, interactional, informational and interpersonal) have a significant impact over the commitment amongst the employees of the target population. However, human resource practices (training and development, involvement and socialization) proved as significant moderators for the relationship between employee’s job commitment and organizational justice. The perceptions about the organizational justices and the employees’ commitment of public sector universities employees were positive in comparison to the private sector employees. The study therefore, recommends that the universities should enhance their organizational justice, so that they can easily reap the positive output from their highly committed employees.
