Islam has produced great scholars, philosophers and mystics, who were / are the custodians and promoters of the Islamic culture and its values in the world. The teachings of all these legends are capable of pulling our own and our succeeding generations from the inferiority complexes and put them on the path to God. Rahman Baba is one amongst them and the reason for my selection of the Mysticism of Rahman Baba and Its Educational Implications for my Ph. D research study is that I have studied this mystic poet of Pashto literature and can say that his poetry is an introduction to the fundamentals of human nature. He addresses to man irrespective of his origin. He makes an irresistible appeal to all, irrespective of their caste, colour and creed. His ideas are ever fresh and new and are a guiding light for seekers of the truth. Baba is a Mystic who leads life according to Islamic Shariah. To study him is helpful in understanding the aim of life and the true meanings of Islam. God made man superior to the entire creature but he does not know his true self and behaves like animals. Man should have tolerance in his self; should be kind and compassionate to others as this is the best way to get nearness to God. Man is naturally the lover of God. To love God means to obey His commands and serve the humanity without expecting any financial reward. Real richness is the richness of heart, which comes through the remembrance of God. Man is a humble slave of God and by stretching hand before the slaves; man becomes slave of the slaves, which is quite astonishing and Baba dislikes it. He is of the opinion that man should have the knowledge of his own self, his Creator, the universe that surrounds him and the aim for which he has been created. He advises the ulama (the scholars) to become practical because the scholar (A''alim) is not scholar until he is practical. Knowledge turned into practice opens the eyes of man and introduces him to God and man starts to obey His commands without any hesitation. Baba lays stress on the character building of the individuals in order to make them capable of facing the hardships that may come in his way while following the injunctions of God and His Prophet (S A W). The teachings of Rahman Baba can purify man''s heart from the evils & can bring him closer to God and when man gets closer to God, he gets courage to fight against the evils both inside him and outside him i.e. in the society. There will be justice everywhere iv and this will bring peace in the surroundings and the society will become a truly human society. Baba addresses to men and wants them to be true human beings, something that is becoming a rarity in modern days. Baba''s teachings are about all the aspects of human life and are based on "To enjoin Good and forbid Evil and eventually work for the establishment of a just socio - moral order in the world." He strongly advocates justice and considers it necessary for peace and unity. His courage and conviction and his humanity are exemplary. He is God fearing and knows the art of living on the earth as a true human being. In short, the researcher, after studying Rahman Baba, is of the opinion that the teachings of Baba can help us to build an exemplary society and if we apply his teachings in our education, we can prepare morally and religiously strong & well-rounded individuals, which is an urgent need of our society.

Asbab-e-worood-e-Hadith means the context of background of a Haith. It is impossible to understand the original myth of hadith without knowing its background and context. This Article presents the concept of asbab-e-worood-e-Hadith. The discussion has been premeditated to explore the meanings and importance of asbab-e-worood. In this regard, keeping in view the nature of topic, the guidance has been sought from the Ahadith of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Asbab-e-worood in its nature having similarities with asbab-e-nazool-e-Quran. This article also describes the relationship between asbab-e-worood-e-hadith and asbab-e-nozool-e-Quran. In this regard some examples have been discussed also. This article also describes how asbab-e-worood is important to specify the meanings of text and explain the textual ambiguities. Key Words: Asbab-e-worood-e-Hadith Asbab-e-Nozool-e-Quran Sabab-e-worood qasasia 4.         Sabab-e-worood sawalia

Isolation and Biochemical Characterization of Efficient Strains of Rhizobium and Azospirillum from Wheat and Maize under Water Stress

Water stress is one of the most important environmental constraints that limit survival and productivity of staple crops like wheat and maize particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. Plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (Rhizobium and Azospirillum) are beneficial bacteria present in soil and forming associations with roots of plants. Present study was aimed at isolation and biochemical characterization of Rhizobium and Azospirillum strains from roots and rhizospheric soil of wheat and maize (at tillering and anthesis stage) growing under different moisture regimes in the field and under induced water stress in pots. The survival efficiency as measured by log cfu/g, carbon/nitrogen utilization pattern determined by QTS (Quick Test System), random amplification of polymorphic DNA analyses, phytohormone production and 16sRNA sequence analysis were done for isolated strains. The efficiency of isolated strains to promote plant growth and development was tested under induced water stress conditions in reinoculation studies. The survival efficiency of Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolates from plants of irrigated field (Experiment I) and those from well watered pots (Experiment II) was higher as compared to that of Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolates from roots and rhizosphere samples of arid (8 % soil moisture) and semiarid field ( 14 % soil moisture)plants and waters stressed plants( 8 % soil moisture) in pots. There was no significant difference in the survival efficiency between root and rhizospheric soil isolates. The effect of low soil moisture on colony forming unit was more pronounced at anthesis stage of plant growth as compared to tillering stage. The value of cfu/g was higher for isolates from maize as compared to that of wheat. On the basis of carbon/nitrogen utilization patterns the Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolates from wheat and maize field were placed in three different groups depending upon the different moisture regimes from where these strains were isolated. xviThe UPGMA (Unweighted Pair Group Method with Arithmetic Means) cluster analysis based on Random Amplification of Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) tests grouped Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolates in two. The results revealed that QTS test can not solely be implicated to fully characterize microbes and for better understanding of phylogenetic relationship, molecular characterization e.g. RAPD-PCR is preferred. The strains isolated from plants growing at semi arid regions in field and under induced water stressed in pots at tillering stage exhibited close genetic relatedness to the strains isolated from plants growing under irrigated field conditions and well watered conditions in pots respectively. While the strains isolated from field plants growing at semi arid region at anthesis stage were found to bear close genetic relatedness with the strains isolated from plants growing in arid regions in field. Reinoculation experiments with both field and pot isolates revealed that the strains of Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolated from well watered plants grown in field or pot have less effect on plant growth of either chickpea or wheat used as host respectively, whereas Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolated from arid fields and plants growing under water stressed pot conditions performed better exposed to induced water stress. The amount of IAA, GA, ABA and trans zeatin riboside produced in the presence of tryptophan was considerably higher as compared to medium from which tryptophan was omitted. Moisture stress at all levels (14 to 8% soil moisture) decreased the production of IAA, GA and trans zeatin riboside but ABA production was increased. These isolates further showed bacteriocin production. Degree of association of microbes appears to depend on developmental stage and on its root architecture of host plants. Rhizobium and Azospirillum isolated from arid field and induced water stress in pots can be used as inocula to promote growth and yield of plants grown in moisture deficit soil.
