آہ!کیونکر کہیے! جس کا کھٹکا شروع سے لگا ہوا تھا آخروہی ہو کر رہا۔ آٹھ، نو مہینے کی اس درمیانی مدت میں رہ کر وہ کونسا اعلیٰ سے اعلیٰ علاج تھا جس میں کوئی دقیقہ اٹھا کے رکھا گیا نہ ہو۔سیکڑوں ختم بخاری شریف کے ہوئے۔ہزاروں لاکھوں، اﷲ کے نیک بندوں نے دعائے شبانہ کی ۔ اکابر و بزرگان ملت نے غلاف کعبہ پکڑ کرمنتیں مانیں۔ مگر جو مشیت کافیصلہ تھا وہ ہوکر رہا اور۲/اگست کوآخری شب میں ملت اسلامیہ کے ترکش کاخدنگ آخریں،علم وفضل کے خزانہ کاگوہر شب چراغ، درج شرف ومجد کا در تابندہ،اخلاق وفضائل کاپیکر،ملک اورقوم کی دساور کا متاع گرانما یہ اس عالم ناسوت کوخیرآباد کہہ کر ہمیشہ کے لیے جداہوگیااور اور دنیا کوایک ماتم سرابنا گیا۔اناﷲ واناالیہ راجعون۔عربی کے مشہور شعر میں قیس کی جگہ’’حفظ‘‘رکھ دیجیے تومعلوم ہوگا کہ یہ شعر عرصہ پہلے کسی نے اسی موقع کے لیے کہا تھا:
وماکان حفظ ھلکہ ھلک واحد
ولکنہ بنیان قوم تھدما
مولانا حفظ الرحمن یوں ہونے کو توکیا نہیں تھے۔علوم وفنون اسلامیہ کے بلندپایہ عالم،متصوف،مصنف،ولولہ انگیز خطیب اورمقرر،جنگ آزادی کے سپہ سالار اور ہیرو، مخلص اوربے لوث خادم ملک وملت سبھی کچھ تھے۔ مگر ملک کی آزادی کے بعد اُنھوں نے جو رول ادا کیاہے اُس کی تاریخ اس قدر شاندار ہے کہ اس میں کوئی ایک شخص بھی اُن کاحریف وسہیم نہیں ہوسکتا۔بے لوث اورجانبازانہ خدمت کی وجہ سے اُن کے قومی کارناموں کاریکارڈ اس درجہ بے داغ تھا کہ اُن کابڑے سے بڑا مخالف بھی اس پرحرف گیری نہیں کرسکتا تھا۔اس کے علاوہ صاف دماغی اورمعاملہ فہمی کایہ عالم تھا کہ اعلیٰ سے اعلیٰ تعلیم یافتہ حضرات اور بلندپایہ ارباب سیاست کے مجمع میں بیٹھتے تھے اوراُن سے اپنی بات منواکر اُٹھتے تھے۔ پھر حق گوئی اورجرأت کی یہ شان کہ جس چیز کوحق سمجھا اسے برملا...

Islam is a religion of humanity; it takes much care of people and worries a lot about both the spiritual and the materialistic aspect of life. That’s way it gives a clear and solid code of life which don’t leave blank any single aspect of human life. Spiritual training and education is a major part of Islamic teachings, Islamic training goes side by side the Islamic education as both tied strongly to each other’s and there is no option to disconnect the Islamic education from the Islamic training and practice. Islam stresses on both the education and the training aspects at a time and don’t believe in dualism at all in Muslim society about Islam and its teachings, one who does not practices what he learns in training is much worse than one who don’t practices due to his ignorance. This verse of S┴ra Jum’ ā describes the importance of Islamic Training in a very clear way as this verse declares the Islamic training as a basic reason of sending the Prophet PBUH to the humanity.

Effects of Peer Tutoring on the Academic Achievement of Students in the Subject of Biology at Secondary Level

The present study was aimed to analyze the effects of peer tutoring on the academic achievement of students in the subject of biology at secondary level. The objectives of the study were: (1) To find outthe effect of peer tutoring on the academic achievement of students in the subject of biology; (2) To investigate the effect of peer tutoring on the academic achivement of tutors and tutees of experimental group; (3)To examine the effects of peer tutoring with respect to knowledge, comprehension and application levels of cognitive domain of Bloom Taxonomy; (4) To explore the effect of peer tutoring on the motivation of the students towards learning. All 433,405 boys‟ students at secondary level of 10th grade of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the population of the study. Forty (40) students of 10th grade, who were studying biology as elective subjects, were taken as sample of the study from Allied National Software Institute (ANSI), a private secondary school in Mardan through random sampling. The Pretest Posttest Equivalent Group Design was used. Teacher made pretest, posttest and participant observation were the data collection tools. The data collected from pretest and posttest, were analyzed through independent sample t-test and ANOVA. The qualitative data obtained from participants observation, was analyzed qualitatively. It was found that the mean score of experimental group was significantly better than the mean score of control group. It was found through participant observation that peer tutoring had developed strong motivation in both tutors and tutees. It was concluded that peer tutoring was the effective method of instruction of teaching biology at secondary level which had enhanced significantly the academic achievement and motivation of both tutors and tutees as compared to control group. Peer tutoring was also found effective in the development of academic achievement of students at secondary level with respect to knowledge, comprehension and application levels of bloom taxonomy. It was suggested that peer tutoring may be incorporated along with other teaching methodologies of teaching for the subject of biology and due consideration may be given to tutoring strategies in all teacher education practices in the country. The principles, procedures and rules of peer tutoring should be followed while conducting any peer tutoring program. The current study is conducted on male students; therefore, future studies are recommended to use different samples of male and female students at different academic levels.
