This study was designed to find the comparative effects of teaching Physics through inquiry method, and traditional lecture method, and analyze effects of these methods on Grade 9 students’ attitude towards Physics. The objectives of the study were (a) to find the effectiveness of teaching Physics to Grade 9 through inquiry teaching method (ITM) on academic achievement of male and female students, (b) to find the effectiveness of teaching of Physics to Grade 9 through traditional teaching lecture method (TTLM) on academic achievement of male and female students, (c) to find comparative effectiveness of teaching Physics to Grade 9 through inquiry teaching (ITM) and traditional teaching lecture method (TTLM) on academic achievement of male and female students,(d) to find comparative effectiveness of inquiry teaching method (ITM) and traditional teaching lecture method (TTLM) in teaching of Physics to Grade 9,(e) to find the attitude towards Physics of male and female students in the teaching of Physics through inquiry teaching method (ITM), (f) to find attitude towards Physics of male and female students in the teaching of Physics through traditional teaching lecture method (TTLM) and (g) to find the attitude towards Physics for Grade 9 of male and female students in the teaching of Physics through inquiry teaching method (ITM) and traditional teaching lecture method (TTLM).Fifty four (54) null hypotheses were tested in order to achieve the objectives. Two hundred and forty (240) science students (120 male and 120 female) of Grade 9, from four schools were constituted as sample of the study. Students of each school were divided into two equivalent groups i.e. control and experimental group on the basis of Pre-test of (academic achievement and attitude toward Physics). Experimental groups were taught through inquiry method and control groups by traditional lecture method for twenty two weeks. Post-test of academic achievements, and Pre-test of attitude toward Physics, were administered after treatment to assess the difference in performance of all groups. The data obtained were tabulated and analyzed to compute mean, standard deviation and t-value. The data collected by Pre-test of academic achievement, Post-test academic achievement, Pre-test of attitude towards Physics and Post-test of attitude towards Physics were analyzed through SPSS 16.0 software; t-test was applied to test null hypotheses at significance level(0.05). The performance of the experimental group on Post-test of academic achievement, and Post-test attitude towards Physics were significantly more effective, than Pre-test of academic achievement, Pre- test of attitude towards Physics and the control groups, this proves that inquiry teaching method is more effective, than the traditional lecture method in learning Physics. Performance of experimental group (boys) was better than the experimental group (girls) in all learning domains and attitude towards Physics. On the basis of findings, conclusions were drawn and recommendations were made accordingly.

شیخ الحدیث حضرت مولانا محمد ذکریاؒ کی وفات کا غم ابھی فراموش نہ ہوا تھا کہ ایک اور آفتاب علم و ہدایت غروب ہوگیا، یعنی مولانا قاری محمد طیب مہتمم دارالعلوم دیوبند نے ۱۷؍ جولائی ۱۹۸۳؁ء کو اس جہانِ فانی کو الوداع کہا، اِنا ﷲ واِنا الیہِ راجعُون۔ وہ ممتاز عالم دین تھے، ان کی شہرت سے یہ برصغیر ہی نہیں، پوری اسلامی دنیا گونج رہی تھی، ان کی وفات سے ہماری ملی، دینی ، علمی اور تعلیمی عمارت کا بہت بڑا ستون گر گیا، اور جماعت دیوبند کی ایک قدیم اور اہم یادگار مٹ گئی، وہ اس قافلہ کے آخری مسافر تھے جس آغاز خاندان ولی اللّٰہی سے ہوکر حضرت حاجی امداد اﷲ مہاجر مکی کے خلفاء اور دارالعلوم دیوبند کے اکابر تک پہنچا تھا، افسوس اب علم و عرفان کی وہ شمع گل ہوگئی جس سے دارالعلوم نصف صدی سے جگمگا رہا تھا، والبقاء ﷲ وحدہ۔
وہ دارالعلوم کے بانی مولانا محمد قاسم نانوتویؒ کے پوتے اور مولانا حافظ محمد احمدؒ کے صاحبزادے تھے، جو دارالعلوم دیوبند کے پانچویں مہتمم اور چار برس تک ریاست حیدرآباد دکن کی عدالت عالیہ کے مفتی تھے، قاری صاحب کی پرورش وپرداخت اسی مقدس خانوادہ اور دارالعلوم کے اس عہدِ زریں میں ہوئی، جو علمی، تعلیمی، دینی اور روحانی حیثیت سے بے مثال تھا، اور جب اس کا آسمانِ علم و کمال متعدد مہروماہ سے جلوہ فگن تھا، ان کی ولادت ۱۳۱۵؁ھ؍ ۱۸۹۷؁ء میں ہوئی، تاریخی نام مظفر الدین تھا، سات برس کی عمر میں دارالعلوم میں داخل کئے گئے، شیخ الہند مولانا محمود حسنـؒ اور دوسرے نامور فضلاء کی موجودگی میں مکتب نشینی اور بسم اﷲ کی تقریب عمل میں آئی، دو ہی برس میں قرآن مجید تجوید و قرات کے ساتھ حفظ کرلیا، پانچ برس درجہ فارسی میں رہے، اس کے بعد...

Khawājah Obāidullah Multānī’s Mystical Pattern of Preaching in Establishing Peace and Harmony and Its Contemporary Meaningfulness: An Analytical Study A Sufi, literally practically in denotation and connotation is such a figure whose heart is naturally and habitually free of pollution of pride, prejudice, sectarianism, ethnicity, linguicism, and hatred for animate and inanimate things on any ground. This purity of sentiments and sanctity of thoughts of Sufis of Islam have always influenced not only the morality of the Muslims but also attracted the people of anti-Islamic faiths. Human history in general and Islamic history, in particular, is replete with such instances as prove that where logistics and warring tactics of the Muslims failed to produce any positive and healthy effects, these were the unseen swords of Sufis' unmatched conduct and exceedingly supreme love for humanity which bore results of ever-lasting magnitude. Due to the safe and unbiased style of the preaching of Sufis of Islam, foes became friends, twisted pathways became straight high ways of peace and prosperity, the grieved became happy, the downtrodden became the champions and the rejected ones became the accepted ones. Identification of Gl13 Gene Polymorphism in Polydactyly Patients from Bahawal Nagar District of Pakistan

GLI3 gene is a well-known transcriptional repressor, majorly involved in developing the digits. As it is the promising gene for the digit development so recently many research is in process for exposure of potential application of this gene. The rapid increase of polydactylism in humans has led to more interest on the study of this gene from researcher and scholars. In this study we had taken the blood samples of 50 individuals including different families were collected, age ranges of the patients were from 3-75 years, and had symptoms from moderate to severe from different areas of District Bahawalnagar. Physical sings were used as the selection criteria. 3.5-4ml venous blood was drawn and stored into 50ml tube containing 400?l EDTA, labeled with code number. The results obtained through different characterization e.g. (inorganic method, DNA estimation, sequencing of PCR product and electrophoresis) for GLI3 gene exon 14. Thermo-cycler programs for the amplification of primers were not show any mutation in premier exons. Gel was visualized and in trans-illuminator and hence to ensure the amplified product. No further mutation has been observed in DNA strand. The DNA strands shows similar behavior of GLI3 exon 14 for effected and normal individual. The mutation in this specified GLI3 gene is not responsible for polydactylism. Therefore, GLI3 gene is not accountable for any mutation caused polydactylism in an individual.
