Since the growing interest of organizations has turned the corporate social responsibility into one of the top trends influencing the organizations, the thrust of contemporary scholars for the research on CSR has also increased. The trend of research on CSR is exponential and more than half of the peer-reviewed articles on CSR have been published during the last decade, but the extant literature has mainly focused on macro CSR rather than on micro CSR. Similarly, most of the previous work of CSR has been made in context of developed countries and has largely overlooked the developing countries. However, a few studies related to micro CSR have appeared on interaction between CSR and organizational psychology in leading Journals recently but the impact of perceived CSR on employee outcome behavior has not been explored fully yet. The purpose of present study was to fill this gap by identifying the path of employees’ external and internal perception of CSR and observe the mediation and moderation process through employees’ attitude and outcome behavior. The data was comprised of sample of 1015 and collected through convenience sampling from telecom sector Pakistan. The telecom industry was selected as it was highly involved in CSR activities as compared to other service industries in Pakistan. The results have been derived through structural equation modeling (SEM). The study is unique in a sense that it is the first study in Pakistan in the domain of micro CSR that articulate perceived external and internal CSR with OCB through sequential mediation. Further, the role of collectivism as moderator enhanced the role of perceived internal and external CSR on several relationship of attitudes and outcome behavior. The findings suggest that CSR is an investment for the organizations but it cannot reap the fruit of its investment unless the employees perceive it useful. Therefore, employees need to be given proper attention through internal and external CSR for achieving the better organizational goals.

تفسیر در منثور میں مذكور بعض موضوعی روایات كا تحقیقی جائزہ

Tafsir (al-Durr al-Manthur) was authored by Jalal al-Din Suyuti, a scholar of the 9th century A. H. He is well known fo outstanding contribution towards various Islamic sciences. In tafsir, he has accumulated a big treasure of explanatory tradit which he extracted from many books. He however, did authenticate the mentioned reports and did not cross examine narrators. As a result many weak, fabricated and unauthe traditions chipped into this tafseer which caused doubts abou validity and status of his commentary. In this article s fabricated reports have been discussed.

Studies on Floral Biodiversity of District Mianwali and Allied Areas With Emphasis on Ethnobotanical Uses

This study confined to the ethnobotanical exploration in District Mianwali and surrounding areas based on plant resources with particular emphasis on documentation of indigenous knowledge from local communities. The area is located adjacent to salt range and arid region of Punjab Province, Pakistan with unique hills of Kala Bagh Estate, Musa khail and Chashma Barrage. The study was carried out to assess the linkage among the people with the ethnobotanical potential of the area. The people of the area have close relationship with surrounding plant resources and have for a long time dependent on plant resources for their food, health, shelter, fodder, fuel wood and other cultural purposes. In total 448 species were reported to be used for various purposes as 150 species of medicinal value, 71 as ethnoveterinary, 40 fuel wood, 16 timber, 66 fodder, 14 of agricultural implements, 45 vegetables / pots herbs, 31 bee flora and 15 species were used as fruit yielding. It is stated from this study that the area has great potential of plant resources with rich heritage of indigenous knowledge regarding the use of these species. However during the surveys it was found that the area is under severe pressure of habitat degradation, population pressure, extensive cutting of fuel wood, timber and non timber forest products (NTFPs) species. The study concludes that there is the need of time to aware the indigenous communities to protect and conserve their plant resources by educating each other for sustainable development and utilization. The study strongly recommend to adopt practical measures including in-situ and ex-situ conservation strategies by the Government, policy makers, forest departments, wild life institutions by the involvement of local communities for future generation.
