Peroxisome-Proliferator Activated Receptors (PPAR-Gs) is ligand based nuclear receptor family which have special role in the IR Syndrome (IRS) pathogenesis, which is a pre-diabetic lesion and have major role in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) development. The PPAR-Gs act as intracellular receptors which help in the gene’s activation responsible for glucose and metabolism of lipid. These receptors upon activation help in nutrient metabolism by activating intracellular enzymatic pathways and also increase uptake by cells. PPAR-Gs receptors also help in insulin signal transduction, any defects in these receptors lead to Insulin loss which can affect body tissues mainly adipose tissue and skeletal tissue. This study aimed to compare T2DM patients with normal controls and identify PPARG abnormal status in adipose tissues of T2DM patients. Transcription factor assay was carried out on adipose tissue of control and patients to assessed PPARG status in both normal and T2DM patients. Transcription factor assay was done by ELISA on DAS plate reader, to quantify gamma PPARG expression in both controls and T2DM patients. Objectives 1. To determine PPARG receptors status in adipose tissues of patients with T2DM Mellitus and IR and their comparison with the results of normal controls. 2. To carry out statistical tests of correlation betweenT2DMand IRS parameters and determine status of PPARG in both controls and patients. Hypothesis Adipose tissue PPARG receptor values are abnormal in Diabetics as compared to Obese and normal people. Null Hypothesis No difference in Adipose tissue PPARG receptor values between diabetics and Obese and normal people Methodology Duration This study was conducted for two years during 2012 to 2014. Setting Current study comprised the subjects presenting diabetes and under treatment in Surgery unit of Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) Abbottabad. Biochemical analyses were carried out Ayub Medical College (AMC) Abbottabad in its Chemical Pathology Department, and Biochemistry Department, Hazara University Mansehra. Sample Size Sum of 105 patients were recruited in this study. The criteria was a) T2DM subjects of age groups 40 – 65 years were included. b) Sex and age matched obese people non diabetic taken as obese controls. c) Sex and age matched normal subjects, i.e., without diabetes or obesity, considered as normal controls. Methods Based on selection criteria subjects were selected attending the surgical ward of the Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad. All the information from subjects about their past and present health status, diseases status and health statuswere recorded on Performa according to standard criteria. Transcription Factor Assay on ELISA Technique on PPAR-G was done from nuclear extract of Subjects adipose tissue by using standard protocols, and then stored under appropriate conditions as given.

The research examines socio-cultural stereo-typed beliefs and customs of Pakistani society regarding women’s conjugal rights and reproductive health. Islamic teachings recognize and ensure both categories of women rights; general and specific. Islam has acknowledged man and woman as equal and equivalent partners of the family system. There mutual cooperation lays the foundation of a peaceful, prosperous and healthy society. According to Islamic injunctions, the socio-economic environment of the society must ensure mutual trust, matrimonial harmony, and respect of rights for both men and women. The social norms need consistent evolution to be conducive to a happy life of individuals. It goes without saying that population growth must go hand in hand with papulation planning while prosperity is directly proportional to proper management of both human and economic resources. The present article analyzes the social stereo-types about women, their conjugal rights, family planning and care for women’s reproductive health, in the light of guidance provided by Qur’an and Sunnah. Efficient Pseudonym Based Secure Framework for Intelligent Transport System

Intelligent transport system (ITS), owing to its potential to enhance road safety, comfort, security, and traffic efficiency have attracted attention from automotive industries and academia in recent years. The underlying technology i.e., vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) provide a means for vehicles to intelligently exchange messages regarding road and traffic conditions to enhance safety. Wireless communication in ITS leads to many security and privacy challenges. Security and privacy of ITS are important issues that demand incorporation of confidentiality, privacy, authentication, integrity, non-repudiation, and restrictive obscurity. In order to ensure the privacy of vehicles during communication, it is required that the real identity of vehicles should not be revealed. There must be robust and efficient security and privacy mechanisms for the establishment of a reliable and trustworthy network. In this thesis, an efficient pseudonym based secure framework is proposed for preserving the real identities of vehicles. The proposed distributed architecture allows vehicles to generate pseudonyms in a very private and secure way. In the absence of a distributed architecture, the privacy cannot be preserved by storing information regarding vehicles in a single location. The proposed framework only allows vehicles with valid pseudonyms to communicate in ITS. Pseudonyms are assigned to vehicles in a secure manner. The pseudonym mappings of vehicles are stored at different locations to avoid any chance of vehicle pseudonyms certificates linkability. In addition, the most recent communication pseudonyms of a malicious vehicle are revoked and are stored in the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) that results in small size of the CRL. Therefore, the CRL size does not increase exponentially. The distributed proposed framework guarantees, the vehicles privacy preservation in the real identities mapping and revocation phase from the certificate authorities. The empirical results prove that the proposed framework is robust and efficient with low computational cost, overhead ratio, average latency, and an increased delivery ratio.
